We had an apartment on the 3rd floor. There was some dirt left in the bathroom, the drain was partly clogged by hairs which you dont immediately see, because it is under a cover. Inside the apartment there are stairs leading to a second level but upstairs there is nothing except for an additional bed and no windows. Its a little unhandy that you need to go to the 9th floor of the neighbouring building to check in. The view from the main apartment is pretty nice, one can see the sea from the bed! Location is also nice, close to the seafront.

My Wife and I, booked a weekend at the Zibo Hotel, this in good faith, as we enjoy visiting the restaurant often. We were advised by some locals that the Zibo Hotel is an aged hotel. Nevertheless, we wanted to experience it for ourselves. Check in went well, and the front desk staff were professional and courteous. The initial impact of the Hotel, when entering is that of an ”old” Hotel, yet, classic and timeless. ”Old”, is however not an issue in my opinion. Poor maintenance and standards however, are... Upon entering the room, there was an evident pungent odour, initially, I thought it to be that of cigarette smoke. I later came to the conclusion, that it's most probably due to the rising damp, which was all over the room, as well as in certain corridors. The ”suite” which we stayed in, had a huge bathtub and a sizeable shower as well. When running a bath, it was evident that the water temperature was perfect, with instant hot water, and good water pressure. Regretfully, the water was brown, most probably due to the pipes being aged. The bed was as hard as a rock, and in my opinion not on international standard. The lace curtains are terribly worn, and are not a good sight at all. Wallpaper on all the walls are either peeling off, or has evident water damage on it. The ceilings, especially in the bathroom, have severe water damage. I have never given a bad / poor rating to a Hotel, and derive no pleasure in doing such. However, I have to be honest, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, foreign or domestic visitors. If you can look past the water damage, the aged appearance and tolerate the odour, then you are free to try the Zibo Hotel for yourself. I however, can, and will not accept such. As in my opinion, a Hotel should make you feel relaxed and should have a sense of beauty to it. Especially as this is the town's local Hotel, I honestly expected better. I am really dissapointed, not so much about the fact that the Hotel has aged as badly as it did, but because it was not rectified. I could not stay there for my entire booking, and requested a refund for the 2nd day booked, as we checked out after our 1st day spent. My honest recommendation to prospective guests would be to rather consider another of the neighbouring hotels. The reception did apologize, when I stated that I plan to check out earlier, primarily, due to the uncomfortable rock hard bed. Regretfully, they did not make any effort to retain our business, no alternative was offered or presented to us. Nevertheless, we walked across the road, and checked into another Hotel, our favorite as a matter of fact. It is also noteworthy, that this hotel is also a bit on the ”older” side, but unlike the Zibo Hotel, it's exceptionally well kept, fragrant and always a pleasure to visit. At least until such time as the Zibo Hotel has revamped the entire hotel.

Facilities: This should be an older hotel. If the training location was not here, I probably would not choose to stay here. After all, besides being cheaper, it is also closer to the beach. I really can't think of any advantages of staying here. Because I booked a room for four consecutive nights and the occupancy rate was not high, the front desk upgraded me to a suite when I checked in. But how could I sleep in two beds? The space utilization was a bit of a waste. Another thing I want to complain about in the bathroom is that the amount of water for showering is too small. Also, I don't know who designed the washbasin and the faucet on the washbasin. The height of the washbasin is so low that a normal person of 1.7 meters has to bend over to wash. Also, such a small washbasin is equipped with such a large faucet. I would bump into it from time to time when washing my face. I was speechless. Hygiene: In terms of hygiene, the efficiency of cleaning the room is quite high, but the second day they didn't help to change the sheets and quilts. In order to promote environmental protection, most hotels will put a sign on the bedside table, if you don't need to change, you don't have to change, but this hotel didn't see this thing, but it can't be assumed that the guests don't change. After all, they stayed for four consecutive nights. Did they not pay for the next few nights except the first night? In the end, I called the front desk to remind the aunt who cleaned the room. Service: Don't mention the service. From Wednesday to Sunday check-out, I didn't feel any service at all. From the front desk reception to other service staff, everyone had a stern face and didn't take the initiative to greet the guests. It was indeed a lot worse than the service staff training of five-star hotels. Finally, I want to complain about breakfast. There are not many dishes, and there is no local Qingdao characteristics. Even the drinks are only hot milk. Anyway, I have never drunk it. The rest of the juice is charged separately. I am drunk. At least all the hotels such as All Seasons, Hilton Garden Inn, and Orange Crystal have many kinds of drinks and don't charge.

It was a very satisfactory stay. I came to Weihai with my two children and chose Haiyue Jianguo Hotel to stay for one night. When we checked in, the lobby manager Wang Qing received us. Seeing that we had a younger child, the manager Wang Qing was afraid that we had booked a twin bed. Too Comfortable helped arrange a family room. The room also comes with a child's toothbrush and slippers. The view is also good. The room assigned to us has a view of the mountains and the sea, and the view is also very beautiful. If you have any questions during your stay, you can consult at any time. Very considerate butler service. Although the facilities look a bit old, it can be seen that they have been carefully maintained. The carpet in our room is also newly replaced and is soft to the touch. The bathroom is also very clean and the location is very convenient. It is right opposite Shandong University. The transportation is also very convenient. You can take a taxi when you go out. After leaving the hotel, I left something behind in the room. Manager Wang Qing also responded quickly to help me find it. If I found it, he would mail it to me, which saved me worry and effort. I will continue to choose Haiyue Jianguo Hotel next time I come to Weihai. It is an unmistakable choice.

The location is not easy to find. There is construction nearby and it will be a bit noisy. The guy at the front desk is very nice. I said I wanted a quieter room and arranged an inner room for me, but it seems that the rooms inside are better than others. The room is smaller. And it seems that the subway is being built on the east side and the west side is being renovated, so it is noisy on both sides.

I was surprised to find a treasure niche boutique hotel. The hotel is conveniently located, the door is very low-key, the stay found that the environment inside is very good, the layout details are tasteful, I like it very much, the room is comfortable and satisfactory. The front desk of the hotel said that there was a free coffee gift on the first night, and a glass of ice latte was really delicious! ! I asked the front desk to know that this was prepared by the hotel owner. The boss himself is also a coffee hobby. He uses the good beans that the boss drinks by himself. Like me like coffee to live must taste, better than star dad. I am used to staying in a chain hotel. It is rare to encounter a hotel that makes me feel warm and cost-effective. It is worth my serious evaluation and worth recommending.

Our most recent trip to Zibo was a special one, and we wanted our Hotel stay to be special as well. We chose to stay at the Zibo Ramada, as this has always been one of our favorite Hotels to visit, whilst in Zibo. We checked in on Friday and checked out on Sunday. As it was a special outing, we submitted a special request to the Ramada. We requested that the room ”Business Suite”, be decorated, according to the ”Romantic Theme”. Our request was met, and our suite was beautifully decorated, with red bedding and white swans (towels). Our check-in process was a bit slow, and this could improve in future. Ms. Mia Wang, did however do her best, to speed the process up, and apologized accordingly. Breakfast at the ”Cafe' Grand”, was good as always, with a fair variety of Western and Chinese dishes to select from. The Lobby Lounge is always nice to visit, and great if you want to enjoy the elegant feel. Housekeeping was also very friendly and courteous, and ensured that we had all that we need, at all times. There was enough drinking water at all times. The Zibo Ramada was courteous enough to afford us with a late check out, as our transport was delayed on the day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and will continue to support the Zibo Ramada, as often as possible. See you soon.
