We arrived at the hotel and were warmly welcomed by the staff, who directed us to park in the underground garage. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was clean and spacious enough. Bed was comfortable. The hotel is in a great location, close to Chiayi’s main sights, although there isn’t much to do immediately around the hotel itself.

We were on the 11th floor that provided thrilling rides and views in the elevator. The laundry facility was clean, inexpensive and efficient. There’s an auditorium, very nice for community events. The breakfast buffet is outstanding with many selections of both Asian and Western choices, all of it delicious. The fitness area is very nice and I wish we’d had time to enjoy the spa. The city views were nice and we could almost see the ocean. Robes and slippers were cozy. Would definitely stay again.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Miramar Garden. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The hotel is centrally located, near the Taipei Main Station, which made sightseeing convenient. We enjoyed the pool, although it was smaller than expected. The hotel offers a good buffet breakfast, with decent variety. There is also a small cafe in the hotel lobby. The hotel staff was friendly and spoke good English. The gym and sauna seemed nice as well, although we didn't have an opportunity to use them. Overall, we were very comfortable here and would stay again on our next visit to Taipei.
First day when we arrived theres mould smell in the room, not sure if it a one time thing because its been raining non stop for a whole week while we were in taichung. but once we tell the receptionist the
y helped us change to another room that doesn't have any smell and is in good condition so no complaint from me. Overall seems to be in nice location and have good food nearby etc.

The hotel is new and clean, and the staff at the front desk are very friendly. It's also very close to Fengjia Night Market. It happened to be my husband's birthday when we checked in, and they gave us a complimentary cocktail. My husband said the cocktails were of a certain standard. I would definitely stay at this hotel again next time I'm in Taichung! 👍🏻

Easy transaction and very helpful staff. My room is quiet big,but little dark. And one more concern is the fiber of the bed cover,it’s itchy to my skin.
For a hotel in Taiwan, the exterior is quite impressive, and the rooms are very large and spacious. They are fully equipped. However, the toilet is quite old, and the flush pressure is so weak that it often doesn't flush properly. Public transport access from the hotel is very convenient, with direct buses to the High-Speed Rail (HSR) station. There are also many local eateries nearby. For under 400 RMB in Taiwan, staying at this hotel offers excellent value for money.

We have always stayed in this hotel whenever we go to Taichung. The hotel location is great for us because there are 2 24 hour convenience stores just downstairs. A lot of different restaurants on few steps away. SOGO department store across the street. Too bad the movie theaters are closed now we used to be able to catch a late night movie during our previous trips. Starbucks is in the basement of the building where the hotel is but with the great coffee from Familymart and 711 you do not need starbucks. Bus station is just downstairs. (no train yet in Taichung so this is the next best thing.) There are taxis waiting all the time downstairs as well.
The buffet breakfast is great here with a very friendly head chef (head chef Hsieh) who is always present and interacts with all the diners. (too bad we missed him this trip)
The rooms are big but do take note of new law in Taiwan and bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste and razors. Although the great thing about this hotel is they do sell toiletries at a cheap price (toothbrush and small toothpaste is just ntd 10) unlike other hotels in Taiwan that absolutely do not provide anything and do not sell.
If it is your first time, I would recommend staying here as you will not go wrong here. Then maybe try other hotels next time so you get to experience the Splendor Hotel standard.

Pool was littered with debris from the strong winds. The water quality was good, but the pool staff could have done a better job at hauling out the debris at the deep end of the pool. The jacuzzi was a disappointment. The presence of greenish/yellowish algae in the water made the jacuzzi uninviting. The heater was turned off and will not be turned on until the third week of November. I was there during the last week of October. Every resort I stayed at had the jacuzzi heated despite the time of the year or the ambient air temperature. If it is the position of the management to not clean or heat the jacuzzi, then the jacuzzi should be covered up and blocked off. The breakfast buffet was horrible considering how much money they charged. I probably will not stay or recommend this hotel. It’s has a lot of potential!
Breathtaking views of the Pacific from every room and commanding view of Hualien from the lobby. The newly renovated lobby is stunning - we didn’t believe the lobby photos until we actually saw it in person. This resort is a real gem of Hualien and of ********* fengshui in general. The food quality was unexpectedly good, and I prefer the hotel’s twist on simple ********* favorites vs. their western style food. The only annoying thing is that you have to buy a swimming cap to use the pool, but the kids had a blast at the pool and taking in views from the hot tub.

MM581989****The room wasn't huge, but it was spotless, and the bed was large and very comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful; they assisted with luggage, explained all the hotel services, and even offered a taxi booking service. Its location is great, just a 10-minute walk from the city center and its commercial district. Plus, you can buy pastries right in the lobby.

AAnonymous UserAbsolutely excellent staff, and a lovely hotel in Beitou. However the rooms are starting to show its age as it opened in 2010 - e.g. I observed some stains on the doors in my room. Conveniently located in the touristy part of Beitou, near the library and steps away from a 7-Eleven if you need anything at night.
WWangyanThe rooms were clean and quite spacious, with plenty of bottled water provided. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located near Zhongshan Metro Station, and the Wi-Fi connection was also quite fast.

WWangAlthough the hotel isn't right in the city center and is a bit of a distance from the train station, it's wonderfully quiet. The hotel itself is new and clean, and the rooms feature smart controls for lighting, curtains, and more. While the swimming pool isn't large, the water is spotlessly clean, and it's evident that daily maintenance is well-handled. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful; we even received a text message reminder the day before check-in. The complimentary afternoon tea snacks and the 7 PM tofu pudding service in the evening were both very thoughtful touches. The breakfast selection and quality were excellent, truly delicious, and the coffee was good too. All beverages in the mini-fridge were complimentary, and the small cookies were tasty 😋. The room size was just right, the bed was comfortable, and having a hot spring bath on the balcony with good ventilation and an open view made for a truly comfortable stay.

11361107****The hotel required a 10,000 NTD deposit. I completely forgot to get it back when I checked out and only remembered once I got to the airport. The front desk insisted I had to physically go back to the hotel to retrieve it. They wouldn't allow a bank transfer (not even to a ********* colleague) or cash by mail/COD. Even with Trip.com's help to mediate, the hotel still refused. So, I'm giving a bad review for the service.
GGuest UserThe hotel is grand and spacious in very corner. Hotel room we stayed is enough is comfortable. However pillows are a bit soft and not easier to have a good sleep. Other hotel facilities like swimming pool, gym room etc are also good. Location is perfect.
11391878****This hotel has a great design, and the check-in experience was excellent. The breakfast was delicious too. The location is very convenient and surrounded by many amenities.
GGuest UserHotel Nikko Kaohsiung was the perfect hotel for us in Kaohsiung. It's in a quiet location in the Asia New Bay Area, a few minutes' walk to 2 light rail stations (C7-Software Technology Park and C8-Kaohsiung Exhibition Center) and 1 Metro Red Line station (R8-Sanduo Shopping District). There's a 7-11 and Family Mart directly in front of it for any drink, snack, or toiletry needs. An MWD outlet is also close by for a good breakfast, if you don't want to spend on the breakfast buffet every morning. Room service dining is available and reasonably priced, though the options are limited. Both the check-in and check-out processes went very smoothly. We arrived a few hours before check-in, but the reception staff let us go through the check-in process and leave our bags. When we returned from exploring the neighborhood, we simply collected our keys from reception and found our bags waiting for us in our room. The lap pool area was quite relaxing to hang out at. The only thing missing is a milk tea shop around the corner.
