We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Montverde. Hotel Poco a Poco was a wonderful hotel, quaint, personal and beautiful. The location was great and we enjoyed the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. We did not use the spa service but did enjoy the walk through the gardens.
Stayed at this beautiful hotel for two nights. Very clean and comfortable and excellent friendly staff. Beautiful swimming pools and tennis courts, also pool tables. For those into fitness there is a Gym on the property with all sorts of equipment for exercising. Ipad size safe in the room. WIFI, breakfast, and onsite parking included. Would definately return someday....hopefully for a longer stay.
So I have to say: this hotel has done me very well. I didn't want to leave the Mountain Top Park Hotel anymore and I really liked it last day. First to the room: I had a room with view to the mountain (I think with view to the sea costs again extra, but you don't need it at all because the view to the mountains is really beautiful. ) It was indescriptably nice to wake up every morning with such a look. I also saw many birds like Tukanes, Adlers or Ara papayas flying over the tree crowns during my stay. As you have read, there are incredibly many free live animals in the large hotel area (the hotel is almost in a piece of rainforest). I have seen more animals here than in the Manuel Antonio National Park like faults or monkeys (the last day we even discovered a fault with a breed). In any case, makes the free morning tour with guide. It is really great to walk over the hanging bridges and watch out for animals. The staff is SUPER. The rooms are clean and modern (they are just a little bright, but with earstops is no problem). So all in all was a memorable stay and I regret no cent :) PS: Let you take the golf cart from the reception to the hotel, it's too hard to run up.
The cleanliness of the hotel was kinda of disappointing. Our room didn't appear to be properly cleaned. Bath towels were all over the place, and there was even a rotten mango on the nightstand. Hotel staff was friendly, and they have a nice pool.
The hotel is a simple hotel with everything included (restaurants, drinks and snacks). The meals were not very good, though with reasonable variety. The drinks are excellent.Very good drinks made with brand-conceived drinks. The staff are very performing and educated, the beach is the one of the photo.
Hotel is excellent, level is not lower **** stars, breakfast can be chosen, staff is trying and at them it turns out, quietly, quietly comfortable, manager Alexander, communicates in several languages, including Russian!!! A pair of jaguan male and female sat on a tree five meters from my balcony, male pose, female shy, then disappeared. Beautiful view from the window and from the balcony down the pool. I recommend you not regret it. On the sea the wave is big not to swim, but you can be swept and watch the trees grow

Fantastic view, Fantastic room. Fantastic food. Fantastic pool.
The only drawback was the distance to the beach. Foreigners are charged $6 to access the closest one which takes 25 minutes to walk. The next closest is 8km.
Bottom line is: I'd gladly stay here again.

GGuest UserBeautiful location and for the most part the service was great. First the pluses ....beach is super and the staff down by the beach was friendly and welcoming and they do a great job of creating safety (lots of lifeguard drills it appeared!) and overall the sense of a lovely vacation feel. There are golf carts to take you everywhere on the property, which is pretty necessary as the property is steep and quite spread out. You just give a call and someone shows up in minutes. Many of the drivers have a great personality, just made it surprising when a few of them seemed not friendly--and for us there was no need to speak English--I was always happy to try my Spanish! Ditto for the staff in the main restaurant--some were friendly and welcoming and a few others were all business and not very welcoming or patient. On with the plus items...the beds are very comfortable, rooms are private and quiet, and the policy of free mini bar snacks (with free restocking) is wonderful! The monkeys and iguanas --and sloths--on the property are terrific. There is a dinner in the beach restaurant on Wednesdays, Sats and Suns and since we were only there for the Wed dinner, I wish that the staff at breakfast had reminded us of it and also, there could be a small guide in the room that would include the beach dinner evening schedule as well as a map of the nature trail --with distances. We wanted to walk it ourselves, without their guide, but didn't have a good sense of the overall length of the trail. There was a little sense that they wanted to encourage us to sign up for their guided (for a fee) walk. The food in the main restaurant was good, but not exceptional and the dinners are quite expensive. The breakfast has many choices and again, it's good but not exceptional--but nice that it's included in the room price. Overall, however, it's a lovely place, clearly the nicest place to stay in Manuel Antonio, but also quite pricey, which you know if you're reading this! Trip.com had the best price by far, at least for November.
CClarisa624They spoil you here! They have a WhatsApp set up for their guest services and it made it all the more spoiled. I was at the spa and I needed ice for my drink that I brought there and all I did was message and they brought it right to me. The food was great breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There was free shuttle service to Agua Azules and the town, which was perfect because we booked parasailing with Agua Azules and they dropped us off right at there steps. The room was clean. The property was beautiful. We got to see sloths, iguanas, and monkeys! The monkeys were right outside our hotel building (we booked a vista suite) when checking out.
AAntenor Jr.Otherwise amazing hotel plagued by rude staff and tour buses. First, this a hotel is used by Americans in bus tours - expect hundreds of them any given time. Second, the staff is incredibly rude. We had an issue with our keys and the reception employee, Ana Belen, refused to help us or even try to understand the issue. TV turned up by itself in the middle of the night. The toilet flush situation is terrible, there is simply no pressure. The good thing, hotel is nearby the Cloud Reserve, breakfast is good and pool looks good.

BB0SSYYLoved everything about my stay at Bohemia! Came solo for my birthday and it was peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful. The room was spotless every day with a gorgeous pool view. The manager Chakib was amazing he gave me great restaurants to visit, recommended an awesome horseback riding tour, and even helped me find a cash car rental after I lost my cards. Super responsive on WhatsApp too, answers within minutes. Highly recommend!
GGuest UserOur stay at the resort was wonderful. The owner was personally involved and met with the customers. Food was excellent and the staff was very helpful. The facilities were fair, rooms and bathrooms need upgrades. Room service was hard to order. The roads need to be fixed, paving the Main road into the resort would make driving to the facility easier.
AArturIt’s a good hotel but definitely not for the price that I was charged. I spent 2 nights there for almost ¥4,000, which is the price of, say, the St Regis in such expensive cities as Shenzhen or Hong Kong… The garden and swimming pool area of the hotel are truly nice but the rooms… I wouldn’t pay more than ¥200 a night… Mediocre.
