We loved the staff and the location. We tried the restaurant of the hotel and found the food to be great but expensive. We liked our room but missed some basic items like a showercap and the sleepers we are used to finding in hotels like this one. They only provide 2 free bottles of water, so do not expect a couple each day like in other hotels. The internet connection was really disappointing. The bed was comfortable, and the room was ok overall.

We were given a room on the first floor, which felt like the catacombs. It smelled very moldy. When we let Reception know that we could not accept that, they showed us two other rooms, which were similar (on the same floor). Then we were shown a room on the second floor. It was better. If you turned on the aircon, there was also a moldy smell in that room.
Everything else was okay. Food great. People helpful.
Just need to make sure you get on one of the higher floors

KJ SEOWI stayed at Delta Hotel by Marriott during my trip to Costa Rica, and it was such a great experience! The hotel is beautiful, modern, and super comfortable. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed.
My room was cozy, and had a really comfortable bed — I slept well. The amenities were excellent too — loved the pool area, gym, and especially the breakfast buffet with plenty of delicious local and international options.
The location was also very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and just a short drive from the airport. It made exploring the area really easy.

nadgWe were informed after the cancellation deadline that they would not be providing shuttle service. We had to take a taxi for 35,000 CRC and they refused to refund us. The buffet was just average; we expected better given our previous experiences with the chain. The sheets were stained, and we had neither washcloths nor hand towels. For one night, it's acceptable.

The common areas are stylish and spacious, with a cozy on-site restaurant that serves excellent breakfast and coffee. It truly felt more like a boutique guesthouse than a typical hostel. Highly recommend for solo travelers, couples, or anyone looking for comfort and value in San José.

It's a decent hotel with a lot of details that aren't quite right. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are excellent. The maid didn't empty the trash cans during our two-night stay, nor was the shampoo ever refilled in the dispenser in the shower. There are no carpets or rugs in the room so you're constantly walking on luxury vinyl plank flooring with wet feet. After you get out of the shower. There are no Kleenex boxes or dispensers in the room, and the TV programming was difficult to decipher, especially the secondary audio program in order to listen to the TV in English rather than Spanish. Also, the closed captioning never worked on the TV

Hôtel bien placé pour aller ce balader dans l’avenue centrale, proche de tout à pied, un parking payant est proche dans la rue derrière pour votre voiture afin d’être tranquille pour 1000 crc par heure.

Book only one night needed to be closed to the airport prior to leaving Costa Rica. I arrived too early to check in so I left my backpack in the storage and went sightseeing. Rooms were cleaned however my issues was with the cleanliness of the bathrooms I wish they were cleaner . Shower’s didn’t have any hooks or shelves and I didn’t have anywhere to but my stuff other then the floor. I found a very cockroach in the shower which was also gross. Bathrooms could definitely be cleaner and furniture could be less broken done. Definitely more on the budget friendly side.
