"I must first give the guesthouse a positive review. We left our laptop adapter and charging cable in the room when we checked out, but we were already on the train to Luxor. We contacted the owner, who immediately arranged for a driver with an intercity bus to Luxor to take us to the hotel the next day. Back to the guesthouse, I thought taking the boat on the island would be inconvenient, but it wasn't a big problem. The guesthouse is on the west side of Koh Chang, and there are free boats to the west side for check-in and check-out. It's a little walk, but thankfully, the owner arranged a triple room on the top floor (for two adults and two children), with a fantastic view and a small balcony. The owner speaks excellent English, so communication was no problem. You can also book a private car to the Aswan Dam and Abu Simbel temples through the owner; the price is relatively reasonable. Normally, you walk east to the public pier, and the boat ride costs 15 Egyptian pounds per person, taking about 10 minutes. However, the guesthouse doesn't provide toiletries; you need to bring your own."

Guest UserThe room decor feels a bit dated, but it was incredibly clean, which made for a great stay! The shuttle boat runs frequently, and there's parking at the dock, making arrivals and departures very convenient. Breakfast and dinner options were fairly standard, but sufficient. Our room, 506, had a balcony facing the east bank of the Nile, which was not sunny and offered a fantastic view. Overall, highly recommended! 👍👍

Our room jacuzzi was way too hot to enter. On the first day they send someone over who added cold water so we could enjoy it. Then on the second day as we are coming back from our day trip and want to relax, we find out our jacuzzi is again way too hot. It’s not fun to wait for them to fix this issue when we want to go in right now and not in an hour or so.
Also as a 5 stars hotel, the hot water kept running out in our shower after 15 minutes which is quite crazy. It shouldn’t be like this.
Or else we loved everything. The food is really good, and as I said the staff/service is amazing.

kao姐さんThe rooms are villa-style, and the view from the Nile River view room was superb. The room was clean, and the staff's service was impeccable. The Egyptian massage and sunset cruise were also fantastic. It was such a wonderful hotel that I'd love to stay here again on my next trip to Aswan, Egypt.

The hotel is located on a hillside, and there were packs of stray dogs on the road leading up to it. Overall, the hotel's decor is actually quite decent, but the rooms are more like guesthouse standard, especially the bathroom. The bath towels felt like they'd seen better days, I'd suggest bringing your own disposable ones. Other bedding seemed clean enough. The biggest issue, though, was the water – whether it was in the bathroom or for the coffee at breakfast, it had a very strong, unpleasant odor. It's about an 8-minute walk to the Old Waterfall Hotel and the Carrefour Chinese restaurant, which is fairly convenient.

Relive classic movie scenes here; the hotel's facilities and ambiance are impeccable. This is a top-tier luxury hotel that's definitely worth checking off your bucket list. My only minor complaint is the limited breakfast selection, but that's easily overlooked given the hotel's legendary restaurant. A couple of staff members had some attitude issues, but they apologized promptly after we spoke with them. Families traveling with teenagers should note that there's an extra charge for minors exceeding a certain age; it's $150 per night and includes an extra bed and breakfast.

Lovely hotel right on the banks of the Nile. The people were nice if a bit awkward. The food menu was tired. The massage is nice but over priced. However, all of Aswan is over priced and it’s hard to find a massage in a Muslim country so we take what we can get. While I think they get a kick out of Crocodile lake it a little sad and serious PETA people could be upset. Gorgeous view though. Great pool and good bar!! Very clean. Comfortable bed and TV has lots of channels. WiFi is not great in your room as it is a brick building but better in lobby. Thanks so much for the boxed breakfasts and ice got our cooler!!
I RECOMMEND to the hotel adding the menus to the google docs QR code. Would alleviate a lot of awkwardness.

Guest UserSeeing reviews mentioning people checking into the wrong hotel, Basmah, I was worried we'd make the same mistake. However, after the driver initially took us to the wrong entrance, security checked the executive lounge list. If a name matched, they told us to go further up. It seems the problem of getting lost has been resolved. The hotel view was indeed very nice, and the facilities were similar to those at Orange Crystal Hotels in China. The electrical outlets were also universally compatible with China, requiring no adapter. The front desk and other staff were very professional and welcoming. On our last day, even though it wasn't breakfast time yet, the staff had already packed our breakfast for us. Overall, we were very satisfied!

Aswan said that this place is worn, except for the old waterfall, no one can live in a hotel. Instead of spending more than a thousand unpleasant, it is better to come to this homestay. There is hot water, breakfast with egg cucumber cakes, air conditioning, and hygiene in the local area.
After all, at this price, what kind of bicycles do you want, the owner of the hotel is good, English is all ok in the local area, the old man is a teacher, there are three sons, one is working in Saudi Arabia, one is a soldier, and there is a local travel agency to work, opening this hotel is also subsidized for home use, very friendly to the Chinese, Real people, more than 20 years ago, moved from Abu Simbe to Aswan for a better life, and chatted with them, you can learn that the locals in Egypt are really not as bad as they say on the Internet
But the disadvantage is that it is not easy to find. If it is not for the local driver, it is difficult to find. The location is relatively biased. Although Egyptian security is OK, women are not recommended to go alone at night.
