Hotel Lodomar Spa & Talasoterapia
4/579 Reviews
Hotel Lodomar is a very good, 4* venue in which to spend an enjoyable holiday. Rooms are quite spacious and kept very clean daily by the commendable cleaning staff. Reception staff are affable, knowledgeable and persevering. all the amenities function well, e.g. Bar, pool, lifts, etc. On a couple of occasions, the pool ran out of towels, so we had to bring our own towels from the bedroom, but that's not unexpected as demand for towels in August is overwhelming. The best feature at Lodomar is the food quality (went on a half-board basis). Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with plenty of variety, good taste and amicable restaurant staff there to help with any issues or needs. The chefs should be complimented on their efficiency and marvellous taste. Hotel location & access is satisfactory, especially for younger people who are more agile. the nearest beach, Playa de Villananitos, is a good 20-25 minute walk from the hotel, which may not be easily tolerable for older people in the heat of the summer, thus, a car is necessary. Same for shops & supermarkets, the nearest of which is Supermercado Día, at some 16-17 minute walk, followed by Mercadona at 22 minute walk from the hotel. So, a car is again necessary, especially when carrying stuff on the way back. In case you wanted to explore the region by public transport, then the Estación de Autobuses of San Pedro requires a taxi ride from the hotel, costing around €8.00, or a 28 minute walk to the nearest bus stop located across the road from the town's fair. Bus fares are cheap; €4-5 for a single ticket to Murcia (the capital) or the beautiful Cartagena. One of the most unfortunate aspects is the location of the ”nearest” airport, la Corvera, which is in the middle of nowhere, at some 30 minute taxi ride costing €64 to Lodomar & €60 from the hotel back to La Corvera. Only rife corruption of politicians can be blamed for the unfortunate and difficult to access airport location. Hotel Lodomar management should seriously consider striking a deal with the local taxi company for concessional airport transfer fares for hotel guests. All in all, we would highly & without any hesitation recommend hotel Lodomar for an enjoyable holiday in San Pedro del Pinatar.
B&B HOTEL Cartagena Cartagonova

Excellent location to explore the city of Cartagena. Parking is limited but free street parking is available 10 mins walk away. Staff were extremely helpful. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. Breakfast is buffet style and had everything you would expect from cereals, cold cuts rolls and sweet pastries. We stayed for two nights, we were due to stay a third but my wife was unwell and had to cut our trip short. Great hotel, recommended. Tip for sightseeing, wait until early afternoon to visit historic sights. The cruise ship passengers will be heading back to their ships and everything is less crowded.
Parador de Lorca

Strange hotel really! On arrival, it's one of the most beautiful buildings and approach we've seen in a long time. The hotel has been built next to the castle and is totally in keeping with its surroundings. On arrival, the reception area is stunning and the staff helpful and friendly. However, it went rapidly downhill on opening our room door. The first thing we noticed was the curtain hanging off its rail! It's a big room with very little furniture and what there was, was a bit tatty. We were disappointed so headed back to reception to change rooms. Pretty much the same but the curtains were ok. This time the room smelt of drains! Having never stayed in a parador before, we were expecting a bit of luxury, maybe our mistake. The room was pretty basic with standard hard beds, no cushions on the sofa, no little extras. The building deserves better! Room was very clean and large but just lacking any wow factor or a hint of luxury. For an overnight stay, it's a great location and clean, just don't expect a beautiful room in keeping with the building. Fantastic views day and night

The room was very acceptable except the beds were basic and quite hard. The pillows were of poor quality . We had a view , but unfortunately it was of the desalination plant opposite. Air- Con very good . Safe in room free and worked well Breakfast was extremely poor and bland . No fresh fruit the first three days - only tinned . Then only melon and banana , next day kiwi !! A treat !! Considering the area we are in we found that hard to understand. No omelettes just fried eggs. One day actually started cooking my own as the chef was no where to be seen . Pre cooked scrambled eggs - there for the whole service . Bacon and sausages swimming in grease . Hard boiled also available. A selection of of sliced bread , no rolls etc . I think you get the picture. Coffee machines were good . Selection of various coffees , hot water and milk. When we got here the hotel was extremely busy. Wedding on the Saturday. Outside area /pool was cordoned off to “hotel guests” On the Sunday still busy , again “outsiders” came in for a child’s confirmation and pool party , so wasn’t again available for residents . My biggest disappointment was how ever after using the outside pool for nearly 4 days , I was told it was closed until July !! It was cordoned off . I complained and was told the pool had been closed all the time , they had no knowledge of the other use and if I wish to use it “that was my responsibility “ . we had to use towels from the room The Spa was “free” and part of the deal and I have to say was the highlight of the stay. Although the other reviews were spot on it’s in no doubt in decline . The area is rusty , the walls plaster and paint coming off . Being salt water and hot it needs constant maintenance I guess - clearly still not getting it . After Monday the hotel was extremely quite. The staff focus on service is non existent- no eye contact always looking at computer screens and no care or answers to enquiries. We didn’t eat in the hotel - not sure anything was available to be honest. There was no bar person except if you pressed a bell . The Hotel is situated as well we knew , right on the outskirts of town , but there are a few places to eat out locally ( rose Indian restaurant) the very best . There is also a “petrol station “ across the road that serves good food , beer and coffee . I know doesn’t sound great but worth a pit stop ( very nice people) . The walk into town is a brisk 20 minutes. As with many Hotels it could be great with the nature environment and beauty but it seems that there is no will and desire to be so .The management have lost their focus. I would come back to the area , but certainly wouldn’t come back to this tired, uninspiring place and quite frankly I’m not sure they cared if I did or not .
Hotel Apartamentos Londres la Manga

The apartment was great! We were in the top floor and the views were amazing! The apartment is perfect for holiday, short or long as you have fridge and the kitchen to cook. I was very impressed with the bathroom as it is very comfortable and plenty of space. We had a balcony and it was very good to hang the towels outside. We did not try the gym or the restaurant so I cannot say much about it. The surroundings are great, they have a minigolf and also a playground for children which is very good for family. The outdoor Swimmingpool looked great but we didn’t go either. Near the hotel there are bars, restaurant and shops to buy food, very handy. Lo lo

The photos display on the website of this hotel are not from this hotel. The hotel doesn’t have swimming pool and it is not closed to the beach either. Hotel is very modern and it is good for a 3 starts hotel, they have even minibar in the rooms but the beds are not comfortable for me, the mattress are not hard enough and you feel you are downing in. The shower is really good tho! The staff from the reception should be more friendly and welcome the guest nicer. No nice touch upon arrival nor when we did the check out. Hotel is ok for 1 night stay and if you dont plan to stay in the room too long.
Balneario de Archena - Hotel Levante
4.1/534 Reviews
We have been members of Archena for many years it never ever disappoints This time we stayed at levante we try to alternate between levante and thermas. The service at the customer desk is incredible a smile and all the information you need. This time we would love to mention Sebastian and Zaira down at the thermal treatments in thermas hotel They were excellent A smile (even at 8.30am) a beautiful and relaxing Archena massage and all with great customer service Honestly it never disappoints The only negative aspect is that we go to Archena to relax we are teachers and we find it quite distressing in the spa pool with kids screaming and jumping and total mayhem at times I wish they could have another town or area because if it’s sold as a relaxing place it can be quite far from it when sometimes you have other peoples kids jumping screaming and misbehaving in an area where it is sold as a relaxing and calming experience .
Poseidon la Manga Hotel & Spa - Designed for Adults

We booked 7 nights at the end of August. The truth that the experience has been great. A large, clean, comfortable room with excellent views of the pool and the smaller sea. We took the Full Pension and surprised us gratefully for both its variety and the price of drinks. The swimming pools are excellent, with air-conditioned temperatures, free baleine beds and two jacuzzis on foot of the pools are also free. You have both the smaller sea and the Mediterranean q short of 100 metres and with a huge beach, without agglomerations. The only thing I would put to you would be that 15 euros per day of parking seems to me too much.

The hotel was clean, in the room lacked the coffee shop as it was in the description. The large bed, the pad a little hard, the nice coats. The regular bathroom, we ordered a shower but we got the bathroom. The hotel has a very good location and is very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable.
