It takes about 4 hours to arrive by boat. It is a very arduous journey. Friends who are seasick should be careful. This island is very primitive and has a very quiet environment. Because it is in the harbor with calm waves, it is very suitable for snorkeling. The room environment is good, one person has a small villa, be careful to prevent mosquitoes, and the room has a small activity area, which is not bad. Meals are average, and some require additional payment, especially breakfast. In short, this hotel is the most cost-effective on Yasawa Island and is suitable for those who like a quiet vacation. Watch out for geckos!
The sea is very beautiful. This island is far away but worth it. There are many fish when snorkeling, and the water is as clear as jelly.
Facilities: The room is quite large, and the two large sofas are very comfortable to lie on. There are refrigerators, coffee machines, and kettles. The open-air shower is very refreshing, highly recommended! There are air conditioners and fans, and it won't be hot at noon. The two bedrooms have independent doors, and you won't disturb your companions when you go in and out.
Environment: A relatively primitive route with many plants. The small yard is very comfortable to blow the wind and drink at night. Although I booked a garden view room, I can walk to the beach in about a minute.
Service: The service is very enthusiastic! The reservation on the first day was wrong. I thought there were six of us, so I divided four small beds for us. After I told him, I helped us put them together into a big bed. Someone cleaned every day. When I left, I sang a farewell song for us.
There are two restaurants, one of which is Japanese cuisine, and omakase has a lot of seafood. The food is good, better than the Sheraton on the main island!
Barefoot Manta was amazing! We spent 5 nights and had the best time. The staff were incredible, especially the resident marine biologist Rob who was a mine of information and enthusiasm. There are 3 different beaches to snorkel from and the snorkelling was the best we have ever seen, it is a protected marine reserve and we participated in coral planting which was great. The Manta Ray trips happened on 3 of our 5 days, it is a bit of an uncontrolled bun fight with various resorts sending their boats to see the mantas but the Barefoot Manta crew were educated and respectful. The resort is beautiful and has a lovely vibe, the staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a double Bure on the sunset side, it was a permanent tent and it was all that we could have wished for, right on the beach. The meal plan is really expensive by our standards, I would have preferred an al a carte option as I have food restrictions and I found that eating salad and rice for almost every meal was boring and repetitive. The staff did try though, however $40 Fijian for salad and rice was a bit on the nose. Bring snacks! It would have been good if they could have made the tea/coffee available all day and maybe had something available for afternoon tea as it is 6 hrs between lunch and dinner. We do recommend this place.
Excellent, I recommend this small island. This island is the closest place to watch the sharks. In addition to a wave of group tours in the morning, other events are quiet, comfortable, the service attitude is good, and the buffet is good. In front of the room is a very beautiful dive with corals. The one- or two-person snorkeling is very good. But the room basically has no cell phone signal, only wifi is available near the restaurant
When you stay at Boathouse Nanuya in Nanuya Lailai Island, you'll be on the waterfront and within a short 1-minute drive from Blue Lagoon Beach. This beach hotel is within the vicinity of Devil's Beach and Long Beach.
Treat yourself with massages, body treatments, and facials. Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless internet access, tour/ticket assistance, and a picnic area.
Grab a bite to eat at Nanuya Island Resort, a beachfront restaurant where you can enjoy drinks at the bar/lounge, take in the garden view, and even dine alfresco. You can also stay in and take advantage of the room service (during limited hours). Cooked-to-order breakfasts are available daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM for a fee.
Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and a safe deposit box at the front desk.
Make yourself at home in one of the 10 air-conditioned rooms featuring refrigerators. Bathrooms have showers and complimentary toiletries. Conveniences include safes and coffee/tea makers, and housekeeping is provided on request.
The original ecological hotel is a bit dated and overall comfortable.
