Not the first time staying here, and will go back again. Location is perfect, all the necessities can be found within a walking distance. Amenities: All the important amenities are available except for hand towels and you have to beg for towels and pretty much the replenishment of amenities after the room is cleaned, far different from the last time when it was still Belmont. First room we were given had a very mouldy smell and which gave the kids and I instant headaches. They eventually changed it after about 4 hours of waiting and intervention by Trip.com. This really put a damper on things. Breakfast: Great, the variety is good, but it’s the same pretty much everyday. The beach: Within 5 minutes walk, but don’t you dare lose of misplace the beach pass paper tag, they’re very uptight about it. The beach if not the best beach, very rocky which makes swimming pretty uncomfortable. However, the pool area is awesome and there are sun loungers all around and that makes up for the unpleasant beach. They provide swimming towels too! I must say it has developed a lot since the last time I was here and I can only hope they will keep improving.

We had an amazing stay at this resort, especially the breakfast. There are many pools and a calm beach, and the gym is very good. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling. However, there are a few things that could be improved: 1. The Wi-Fi access ends at 11 AM, which is quite strange and inconvenient. 2. You are not allowed to use the pools after your checkout. 3. You are not allowed to use the sunbeds with umbrellas after your checkout. 4. The beach is clean, but there is still a lot of “water grass” and the water is not very deep for swimming.

The room was clean and spacious enough for the three of us, and the service was good value for the price. Access from the room to the pool was very convenient. The swimming pool is large and suitable for both kids and adults, with shallow areas on both sides for non-swimmers and deeper sections in the middle for more confident swimmers. Breakfast was plated and reasonable for its price. The room tended to be a bit humid, and the pool had a strong chlorine level, so using swimming goggles may be helpful. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort and truly appreciate the exceptional service provided by the staff. The front desk team was incredibly helpful—when my husband thought he had dropped his wallet in the car during our transit from the pier, they went above and beyond by checking the CCTV to help us track the car plate number. With their help, we discovered that the wallet was not left in the van. Eventually, we realized it had been dropped in a Grab car during our journey from Cebu City to Pier 1 Cebu, and we were able to successfully recover it. We are very grateful for their effort and support throughout the process. From the first day we checked in, the front desk staff noticed that my son was not feeling well. They kindly informed us that the resort has a nurse available and encouraged us to reach out if needed. On the third day, my 4-year-old son’s diarrhea became more serious, and the staff once again showed genuine care and concern. They arranged for a nurse to check on him, who provided helpful advice and referred us to a clinic doctor the next morning. This gave us great peace of mind as parents. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the pool—it was excellent. Overall, the warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast at the resort, the purple yam porridge is very nice. All the staff were very kind, helpful, friendly, and warm. We would definitely come back again if we travel to Bohol. One small suggestion would be to add a gym room for guests, which would make the facilities even more complete. Thank you again for the wonderful experience!

Lovely stay! Beautiful hotel, with fabulous pools and direct access to a pristine beach with stunning sunsets. Service was also really good. Tons of restaurants to eat within walking distance. Top class place! My only suggestion is to install coffee machines for breakfast - espressos and cappuccinos are not complimentary, only brewed black coffee is served.

A wonderful stay with warm smiles and tasty breakfast. Wehad a great experience at Amber Hotel Cebu. The staff were all incredibly smiley and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment I arrived. The breakfast was simple, but honestly still tasty and satisfying - just what we need to start the day right. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked as expected. A couple of minor things to note: the hotel doesn’t provide slippers, so you might want to bring your own, and the shower area is a bit small, which can cause water to splash around. But these didn’t take away from the overall positive vibe of my stay. For the price, service, and location, I’d gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

Overall, our stay at Seda Ayala was mixed, and I would rate it 3 out of 5. The room itself was decent—clean and comfortable enough for a short stay, though nothing particularly memorable. Breakfast offered a wide selection of options, which was appreciated, but unfortunately the taste did not quite match the variety. What really affected our experience, however, was the service at the front desk during checkout. There were three counters open and only a short queue, yet the line barely moved and we ended up waiting for around 15 minutes. As we were in a rush to catch our flight, I approached a staff member named Stephan to ask if I could simply hand over the room keys to speed things up. Instead of assisting, he gave me a hostile look and curtly responded, “I have other customer,” in a tone that felt unnecessarily rude. This interaction overshadowed what was otherwise an average stay. With better service, especially at the front desk, the experience could have been much more pleasant.

This hotel offers excellent value for money; I'd highly recommend it to any friends visiting Bohol. **Facilities:** No mini-fridge, which I suggest they improve. The local weather is hot, and it's inconvenient when you want a cold drink or ice cream in your room. **Cleanliness:** Very clean. The pool is meticulously cleaned every day. **Environment:** It's quite close to Alona Beach. The hotel offers a shuttle service, and even if you take a tricycle back on your own, it's not expensive. There's a decent-sized supermarket about a ten-minute drive away. **Service:** The front desk and staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic.

Staying at Oceanica was a great experience who wants to escape the bustle city life.... the views of the beach, garden and mini forests were quite calm and relaxing. If you want to get moving just head to the recreation and fitness facility... If you re hungry just head to the restaurants and bars, and enjoy the delicious foods and refreshing drinks. Room is clean and spacious.. staffs are courteous and nice. Will come back again, next time will tag along our kids.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at Savoy. The staff are very accommodating, the room is clean as well as the surroundings. Fast food/ stalls (jollibee, mcdo, 7eleven, starbucks, etc.) are also very accessible.

GGuest UserI'm so glad I chose Coco Grove. Booking in advance allowed the hotel to arrange a pick-up and drop-off service from the pier, which was incredibly convenient. Even though the pier isn't far, being able to hop straight into a car saved a lot of time. The hotel's coconut grove and beach are absolutely stunning. Breakfast was à la carte and quite good. The service was very prompt; a quick call to the front desk and a staff member would arrive quickly to sort out any issues, including helping with luggage during check-out. The area just off the diving school is amazing for snorkeling – you don't have to go far to see little Nemos and beautiful corals, which were definite bonuses. The rooms have a rustic, natural decor, but cleanliness was never an issue; they were always tidied very well. Overall, I highly recommend it. If you're coming to Siquijor, Coco Grove is the place to be!

GGuest UserA truly wonderful trip! The Chinese owner was lovely, and the hotel boasted a beautiful garden and a stunning infinity pool with breathtaking cliffside ocean views. The endless sunset was incredible. I'm really looking forward to staying here again.

GGuest User[Red Heart R] Architecture: The architecture of the entire community is stunning, and the swimming pools are beautiful, with two in total. One is larger and shallower, and the other smaller and deeper. However, the small bar in the middle of the pool wasn't open during my stay. The pool water quality is excellent, with a gentle slope between the deep end and the poolside. Lifeguards are on duty until late and towels are provided. [Red Heart R] Rooms: The hotel offers two types of rooms: those with direct access to the pool and those facing the garden in a second row. All rooms are lofts. The downside is that the living room and toilet are on the first floor, while the second floor only has a bed, making bathroom access a bit inconvenient. There's a small terrace on the first floor with chairs, perfect for chatting, especially useful for those facing the pool. [Red Heart R] Service: The staff are very welcoming and will sincerely address you as ”sir” or ”mam.” The hotel staff are also highly professional and speak good English. [Red Heart R] Location: The location is arguably the biggest drawback. It's almost a 20-minute drive from the heart of Alona Beach, making it quite far. Grab taxis are hard to hail, but tuk-tuks are occasionally available. The hotel offers a free port shuttle service and also has a car to take you to the city center, but the hotel itself is in a very rural area with no commercial activity, so taxi fares during my three-day stay were quite expensive. [Red Heart R] Dining: Breakfast was okay, but the breakfast restaurant wasn't very big and got quite crowded during peak hours. The hotel is by the sea and has a bar with a swimming pool, where you can order drinks and some dishes; the overall style is Western. I didn't try the main meals during my stay, but I was told that many dishes were unavailable and couldn't be served. [Red Heart R] Activities: There was a fire dance every evening at 7 pm during my stay. The hotel only has a swimming pool, no beach, and not many other activities.

GGuest UserMixed Experience at Isa-Hostel Cons - not very helpful staff at check in, no information or orientation to the hostel (e.g., breakfast, services etc.). The door to the shared dorm room didn't work properly, no one could get in or out, so whoever was in the room would have to let people in (all through the night) or the door was often left open (as we couldn't really close it when leaving) and there are no lockers for valuables and the locked drawers offered are a bit of a joke. Located very central, which means also very loud music playing till early morning, barely slept even with earplugs in. Pros - they take pride in keeping all areas clean, in the rooms, common areas and especially the bathrooms. Bathroom showers could use some door hooks to keep clean clothes or towels dry. The morning breakfast is simple but nice, they even accommodated me for breakfast even though I was technically too late. Centrally located.
