"First time in Kalisz. There is no Chinese food in this small town. There is a Thai restaurant which is very authentic and the price is very good. Basically, you can't see Asians. They are all locals. It feels very safe. The scenery is also very good. We passed a church on the way. The staff even turned on the lights for us to take pictures! Spectacular!!"

Ttbp01The hotel is close to Poznan train station, a ten-minute walk away. The old town center is a half-hour walk. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the beds are of good firmness. The breakfast is plentiful and offers a wide variety of choices.
GGuest UserThe hotel is generally good, off the beaten track but in beautiful natural surroundings. Nearby (about 4 minutes) a tram stop. Very nice service. Poor breakfasts, i.e. a large selection, but the same for two days, scrambled eggs and grilled vegetables completely tasteless, even without salt. We went down for breakfast quite late, so everything was cold. A good place for families with children. Some guests were partying a lot but security intervened. I recommend :-)
AAmirahDIt was a wonderful stay, the staff at the reception was very helpful and caring. The room was clean, big size with tea and coffee facilities provided. The room was clean when required.
The location was ideal as it was walking distance from all attractions and even public transport. It's walking distance from the main train station as well. The area felt safe and even walking back to the hotel at 11pm still felt safe.
Breakfast was good although I would wish for me vegetarian options.
I think the only drawback is that the room is not soundproof which mean you can hear the next door people and given the hotel is in the old town, it's a bit noisy at night in the area. But I still managed to fall asleep as I was very tired.
All in all, I would recommend this hotel for a visit to Poznan.
VVlaf HfhahBooked half an hour before arrival and everything went successfully. Staff loyal, room clean. True air conditioner in heat +33 helped, but not super t
MMalcolm OrsbornAltus was a well-placed hotel, ideally placed on the edge of the old town, the Christmas markets, and local shops. There’s a Lidl and numerous convenience stores nearby, and you’re a short walk from the interesting sights. It’s also well-placed on a main road for easy Uber access to the airport.
The breakfast was very good, if a little samey, but still great for starting the day off with unlimited coffee, juices and a decent variety of foodstuffs.
The room was clean and a decent size, with unlimited water supplied by water dispensers outside the room.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, allowing for a pleasant 10 to 20-minute walk to both the main train station and the Old Town. The breakfast offers a rich variety of high-quality options, truly living up to five-star hotel standards. The rooms are well-equipped, and the bathrooms are spacious and bright with great water pressure and volume in the shower. The hotel also boasts a swimming pool and gym on the eighth floor, open until 11 PM, catering to various needs. Complimentary tea in the lobby adds a welcoming touch, making guests feel right at home.
MMajkessThis was our third stay at this hotel. The previous two stays were 5/5, but this last one was a complete disaster. We needed an overnight stay before an early morning flight. We booked a room with breakfast for two people. The first room we were given was not cleaned after the previous guests. After reporting the problem, we received a room next door, which turned out to not fully meet the standard the hotel provided during our previous stays. The bathroom was only 'so-so' clean, the toilet wasn't cleaned, there were only two random towels available, and a single duvet on the bed. After reporting the issue to the reception, a very kind lady brought the missing items to the room. However, the feeling of embarrassment left a bad taste. The worst, however, turned out to be the breakfast. Our previous two stays had set a high bar in this regard. Hotel breakfasts are served from 6:30 AM – this convinced us to take advantage of the offer before our flight. We went down for breakfast around 6:40 AM. The restaurant was empty; there were no guests or buffet food. The waitress suggested that breakfast would be served directly to our table. 'Quickly,' and without a menu, she asked us to choose what we wanted. We ordered scrambled eggs (max 3 eggs) and 2 boiled eggs. We also received a basket of delicious bread with butter, one tomato, a few slices of green cucumber, and 4 small pieces of questionably fresh cake. Drinks were available at the buffet. Breakfast at the hotel costs 70 PLN per person. Nobody informed us about the breakfast service style during check-in. What's more, the receptionist offered a buffet breakfast to a client checking in before us. The wave of embarrassment grew into a tsunami. We are very disappointed because the previous two stays were a very pleasant surprise. We have no idea what went wrong, but for a four-star hotel, this is definitely unacceptable.
