Fantastic view, Fantastic room. Fantastic food. Fantastic pool.
The only drawback was the distance to the beach. Foreigners are charged $6 to access the closest one which takes 25 minutes to walk. The next closest is 8km.
Bottom line is: I'd gladly stay here again.

The hotel is a simple hotel with everything included (restaurants, drinks and snacks).The meals were not very good, though with reasonable variety.The drinks are excellent.Very good drinks made with brand-conceived drinks. The staff are very performing and educated, the beach is the one of the photo.

Hotel is excellent, level is not lower **** stars, breakfast can be chosen, staff is trying and at them it turns out, quietly, quietly comfortable, manager Alexander, communicates in several languages, including Russian!!! A pair of jaguan male and female sat on a tree five meters from my balcony, male pose, female shy, then disappeared. Beautiful view from the window and from the balcony down the pool. I recommend you not regret it. On the sea the wave is big not to swim, but you can be swept and watch the trees grow

The cleanliness of the hotel was kinda of disappointing. Our room didn't appear to be properly cleaned. Bath towels were all over the place, and there was even a rotten mango on the nightstand. Hotel staff was friendly, and they have a nice pool.

It’s a good hotel but definitely not for the price that I was charged. I spent 2 nights there for almost ¥4,000, which is the price of, say, the St Regis in such expensive cities as Shenzhen or Hong Kong… The garden and swimming pool area of the hotel are truly nice but the rooms… I wouldn’t pay more than ¥200 a night… Mediocre.

CClarisa624They spoil you here! They have a WhatsApp set up for their guest services and it made it all the more spoiled. I was at the spa and I needed ice for my drink that I brought there and all I did was message and they brought it right to me. The food was great breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There was free shuttle service to Agua Azules and the town, which was perfect because we booked parasailing with Agua Azules and they dropped us off right at there steps. The room was clean. The property was beautiful. We got to see sloths, iguanas, and monkeys! The monkeys were right outside our hotel building (we booked a vista suite) when checking out.

GGuest UserOur stay at the resort was wonderful. The owner was personally involved and met with the customers. Food was excellent and the staff was very helpful. The facilities were fair, rooms and bathrooms need upgrades. Room service was hard to order. The roads need to be fixed, paving the Main road into the resort would make driving to the facility easier.

CCamThis is a fairly standard all inclusive. Staff was friendly and helpful and property was nice. Food was good as well. Perfect for a 1-2 night stay. Rooms need renovation at this point. I would still recommend for anyone looking for a reasonable priced all inclusive.

Internal logistics is not good since there are several stairs and ramps to go in and out of the room.
Water leak from the roof inside the room when there was a heavy rain.
Road to get the hotel is horrible. Plenty of stones.

CChris KnappWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shana and found the room, facilities and staff excellent. The breakfast, the bar and the dinners were equally excellent and the beach was also an added bonus. We plan on returning to Shana on our next visit it Costa Rica.

GGuest Userit was a wonderful experience. The room was clean and nice. We rented a room with a balcony which I think is a must to enjoy the nature. the food at the Leon Marino was absolutely delicious and all breakfast, given at another restaurant were also great.
