About Curiosity Cove
Located in the eastern cluster of the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, Curiosity Cove is Singapore’s largest indoor nature-inspired phygital playscape for families with children aged three to 12. This dynamic space promotes child-led adventures with hands-on, tactile and digital play across four nature-themed zones inspired by real-world ecosystems. Kids get to move like wildlife and view the world through their eyes.

In the reimagined settings of Wetlands, Forestlands, Grasslands and Drylands, nature comes alive with vibrant colours and features that spark curiosity through playful exploration. Each zone includes multi-sensory elements that encourage children to climb, crawl, touch and explore, supporting cognitive, social, motor and locomotor development.

Guided by imagination, every corner of Curiosity Cove invites play and discovery of the planet’s biodiversity, planting the seeds of a lifelong love for nature and wildlife in the next generation.

Wetlands

The Wetlands form the natural pathway connecting the entire playscape. Inspired by how water sustains ecosystems, this zone teaches kids how plants and animals depend on one another.

Highlight:

Reef Retreat — Children can peek under colourful corals, feel their way around reef structures and discover hidden marine creatures.

This zone is perfect for kids who love water play without actually getting wet.

This vibrant rainforest zone brings the forest floor, canopy and treetops to life. Children can explore scaled-down animal homes, climb into leaf nests and uncover the small creatures that often go unnoticed.

Highlight:

Microscopic Canopy — Kids act as a magnifier, triggering 360° projections of tiny rainforest creatures.

Orangutan Sleeping Platform — A 6-metre-tall climbing structure inspired by orangutan nests.

Singing Tree — Shake the hanging lianas to activate rainforest sounds.

Includes one of two Calm Zones for quieter sensory breaks.

Inspired by the African savannah, this zone introduces children to predator-prey behaviour, camouflaged wildlife and the challenges of finding water in dry environments.

Highlights:

Watering Hole — Kids crouch to “drink” and spot their animal reflection on the surface – just like the animals that rely on this precious resource!

Nature’s Theatre Cave — A playful space where animals appear and disappear behind rocks, simulating migration scenes.

This desert-inspired zone shows how animals adapt to extreme conditions. Kids can crawl, climb, and slither through rugged terrains.

Highlights:

Giant Snake Belly – A 27-metre-long slithery tunnel maze inspired by a horned viper.

Underground Galleries – Shine a light across the sand to uncover interconnected burrows.

Bat Cave – Walk through darkness and use sound to navigate, just like real bats.
