my son and I stayed one night here on our way back from Yangshuo and it was a great experience , i would highly recommend staying here - the hotel is in a great location at the entrance to a busy shopping street with night market stalls , opposite the entrance to the ancient city and a 10 minute walk to the moon and sun towers - all worth a look - the hotel itself is modern , very clean and quiet with spacious rooms, a relaxing lobby area and a rooftop bar and restaurant with great views over the city and to the mountains - Patrick the manager speaks excellent English and was super helpful with local knowledge and recommendations - we would definitely stay here again if in Gulin

The location is quiet yet convenient for getting around, not too noisy but still easily accessible. **Cleanliness**: Very clean. **Ambiance**: The overall environment feels high-quality and worth the price. It's not like those regular guesthouses that jack up prices to over a thousand during peak season but have cheap decor. **Breakfast**: A rich variety of options, the rice noodles were delicious, and the corn juice was great. **Service**: Everyone was excellent, always greeting you when they saw you. Highly recommend.

The hotel's location is great, very convenient for transportation. It's right by the central plaza and a food street. The facilities are excellent and well-equipped. They even helped retrieve items I left behind during checkout. Plus, it's right next to a bus stop, making getting around super easy. The hotel service is very good, and the laundry room is a real convenience.

Facilities: We brought a baby with us, and the facilities were very complete. There was a direct drinking water dispenser, a dryer, umbrellas, and even small hair clips for girls. Seriously, they've thought of everything! There's also a kids' play area, a gym, a swimming pool, and a DIY craft area. Each area isn't huge, but it's like a sparrow, small but complete with all its organs! (Meaning, small but has everything one needs). Hygiene: The room was cleaned very well. If we needed anything changed, the housekeeping auntie would come and clean right away. Environment: Opening the curtains, you can see the Li River, and there's a park right next to it. It's convenient to go anywhere, and the environment is beautiful. Service: SERVICE!!! This is especially worth mentioning!!! All the staff members had an exceptionally good attitude! We were two families traveling together, and they specially arranged adjacent rooms for our convenience. We arrived around 10 am, and since the previous guests checked out early, our rooms were already cleaned, so they arranged for us to check in early without any fuss about not checking in before the designated time. During our stay, they did their best to fulfill any requests we had. Guilin has a lot of rain, and when we were leaving, our car had a lot of fallen petals on it, and the duty manager thoughtfully helped us clean it! After checking out, the manager saw we were leaving and offered to help us move our luggage to the car! They also gave us some local specialties as souvenirs and asked if we had any suggestions for improvement. Any suggestions we made, they tried their best to meet and implement. In all aspects, it was the kind of place where you couldn't find fault even if you tried to nitpick. After we left, the auntie discovered we had forgotten something, immediately took a photo, and sent it to us. We hadn't gone far, so we turned back to pick it up. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The value for money is also great!!!!!!!!!! There's also a swimming pool on the rooftop, so bring your swimsuit!!!!!!!!!! The experience was amazing!!!!!!!!!! No exaggeration, you could spend a whole day just playing at the hotel, haha.

This was genuinely one of the best days of my life. The service at this hotel is beyond amazing. They really pampered us in every way possible here. They offered to bring our lunch to us directly to our room, or have it ready by the time we went down to the dining area, which by the way has the most stunning panoramic view. The scenery is unforgettable, it’s straight out of a movie or cartoon, it’s just so perfect! We got the room with the rotating bed, tub, and balcony and couldn’t be happier! The food, drinks, amenities were all phenomenal and I genuinely cannot think of anything negative to write for them. We were at the point of our trip where we wanted a nice, relaxing stay with great service, and this ticked all those boxes! Our housekeepers and staff were Icey and Mayling, and they were beyond helpful even with the language barrier as I don’t speak Mandarin at all. Both them and the two female photographers who took great care of us deserve the world. If you are coming to Yangshuo, you NEED to book this hotel, it is a life changing experience. 15/10

The room directly overlooks the artificial lake, which is absolutely beautiful. If I were to visit again in March or April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it would be truly magnificent. The breakfast was also quite enjoyable; I even got to make my own waffles, which were wonderfully fluffy and soft, just like the ones my grandma used to make back home. The environment here is also very relaxing and pleasant.

I highly recommend the Guolong Hotel! The biggest surprise was the huge parking lot – there's so much space that both family cars and business vehicles can park with ease, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. The front desk service was absolutely excellent; the staff were warm and thoughtful, handling check-in quickly and efficiently. They even proactively offered tips for local attractions, which really enhanced the whole check-in experience!

A super warm hotel, everyone is particularly good. The hotel is also very close to Silver Beach. The high-speed rail station can pick up the breakfast. The hotel is newly opened. Super clean and the pool room is fragrant. The shampoo is particularly easy to use. There is a washing machine refrigerator. It is too suitable for families. The boss is very good. The front desk lady is super intimate. I know that we are very thoughtful and considerate. The third time I came to Beihai, I met people. I have lived in the most satisfying hotel. I must praise it. It is really great. I will recommend it to my friends. The friends who come to Beihai to stay. Check-in was on the 13th floor, which is also where the afternoon tea, *luosifen* (snail noodles), and coffee are served – basically everything is on the 13th floor. I booked a king-sized bed on the 9th floor. As shown in picture 1, the view was quite nice, but the room was a bit small. Since I was with my elderly parents and wanted a bathtub, I asked the butler if we could switch to a twin room on the 3rd floor. As shown in picture 2, the view wasn't as good as on the 9th floor, but the room was much more spacious, which was great. Room facilities: Smart features, with a TV that can cast from your devices, and a smart toilet. Cleanliness: Very good and clean. Service: Upon arrival, the concierge helped us with our luggage and took us to the 13th floor. The front desk lady added me on WeChat and provided excellent service, helping us switch to a bigger room. When we went out, we asked for amenities to be left in the room, and they provided quite a lot. I got motion sickness and threw up in the sink at night. The front desk lady had an auntie come to clean, and she wasn't at all impatient, saying it was no problem. She cleaned it very thoroughly, which was wonderful! I was feeling too unwell to help my parents with the self-service laundry, but even late at night, the front desk lady was still available and came to assist. The next day, a robot delivered the items to our room door. Overall, the stay was quite good. Due to my health, I threw up several times at night, so I only had some fruit for breakfast. Breakfast: Generally enough to fill you up, but not many drink options. I mainly wanted iced orange juice, haha. Special thanks to 😍😍: The concierge, the front desk lady, and the housekeeping auntie! Misty Guilin, truly lives up to its reputation! With a view right outside the window, stepping downstairs transports you into a picturesque scroll of mountains and rivers – distant peaks like painted brows, nearby waters hazy with mist, and swirling clouds that make you feel like you've entered an ink-wash fairyland. Choosing this place meant even a rainy day became a rare and beautiful experience. What was even more delightful was the hotel's service. The one-on-one butler was thoughtful and meticulous, ensuring everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out. In the morning, that authentic bowl of Guilin rice noodles, with its rich卤香 (lu xiang - savory braised flavor), left a lasting impression. The room facilities were comprehensive, and the cleanliness was impeccable. This trip's perfect experience was set from the moment I first gazed out the window at the stunning view. Waking up in a misty haze and falling asleep surrounded by mountains and rivers – I wholeheartedly recommend this Guilin to anyone yearning for a poetic escape.
