Hotels With breakfast in Gjirokaster, Albania

Hotel located in the heart of old Gjirokastër. They upgraded my room free of charge and lent me the phone charging cable I had forgotten. The Google Maps directions are somewhat confusing; it's best to ask for directions once you're in the old town. It's a well-known hotel. The staff is friendly. Breakfast wasn't ready on time, so I had to leave without eating because there was nothing prepared. I suppose it was because it was a quiet day and they didn't expect a guest to want breakfast as soon as the dining room theoretically opened. I left without breakfast and without coffee.

A beautiful, relaxing oasis in Gjirokaster– 5 Stars! Hotel Boutique Ergjeria exceeded all of our expectations. The property is gorgeous, meticulously maintained, and felt like a luxurious place to unwind. Best night sleep in all our many stops across Albania and the bathroom and shower were brilliant. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service; the family that own the hotel were incredibly professional, polite, and genuinely eager to help. From the beautiful room to the incredible breakfast, it was a flawless experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting! It is also within a short walk to the centre with a well lit pavement leading you straight there in under 5 mins with a great view along the way.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kalemi 2 in Gjirokastër! The hotel itself is full of charm, beautifully combining traditional Albanian architecture with modern comfort. The breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, varied, and served with care in a lovely setting. A small tip for travelers arriving by car: Google Maps can sometimes make mistakes when guiding you to the hotel, so it’s best to double-check the route or contact the reception for directions — the staff are very friendly and always ready to help. Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Gjirokastër — cozy, authentic, and with great hospitality!

The restaurant was closed the first night and they changed our room from one big bed to 5 kids beds which was odd. The two tvs are pointless, no channels and doesn't allow Netflix or any streaming services. Staff was nice and the breakfast was great. They offer some fun outdoor activities also. I'd stay again but they should upgrade the TV's.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Small hotel room. Tv was pointless, couldn't login to Netflix or any services. No kettle in the room, fridge is outside your room which was nice. Good location, market across the road and restaurants all around. Parking included was nice.

Very pleasant young team with good English in charge of reception and the breakfasts. Terrace with stunning views. Just on the edge of the old town - everywhere easy to walk to and friendly (but don’t go for the gastronomy) restaurants. A comfortable place to stay.

Maradona is the host and comes to terminal to pick you up which is super convenient for people traveling without car. Good location to city center Bazar and castle in 10min walk. Recommend people to stay one night to enjoy Gjirokaster.

We loved this place! The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nicely updated and the water pressure and temperature were good. I was pleased that they provided memory foam pillows.

Very beautiful and peaceful situation. The staff and the owner were extremely kind and helpful. Their main priority is customer satisfaction. In a word: lovely. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.
