This is a very nice hotel with high rise hotels and lower rise buildings of rooms which are quieter and next to the water. The view is fabulous, services is great and there are lots of restaurants and bars around. I will recommend this place to anyone visiting Hobart.

The whole house is split into two levels: the bedroom upstairs, and the bathroom, kitchen, and living room downstairs. The bedding was clean, and the kitchen facilities met basic needs. The bathroom was spacious. The only drawback: both the living room and bedroom had dark navy carpets, which made them feel a bit unclean. Maybe it's just me, as a Chinese person, but I'd prefer tile or wooden flooring.

This hotel is located in the Hobart CBD, surrounded by numerous restaurants. Enjoying breakfast with a sea view was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast spread included a variety of fruits, with the option to make your own freshly squeezed juice, which was a major highlight. Although it was just a fleeting one-night stay, the experience was excellent, and the King-size bed in the room was incredibly comfortable too.

Location-wise, it's super convenient. You can walk to most of the downtown sightseeing spots for a city walk, and there are bus stops nearby. It's also easy to get to the pick-up points for various day tours. As for facilities, the rooms are generally clean and tidy. There's a coin-operated washer and dryer available. A little tip: if you're coming from overseas, bring your own laundry detergent, as it costs two dollars per wash here. Washing is four dollars, and drying is also four dollars. Inside the room, you'll find a microwave, hot water kettle, and a fridge. The gym is a bit small but sufficient for a quick workout. Breakfast is pretty standard Western fare. One thing to note: the beds are particularly soft. If you're sharing a king-size room with someone, make sure to emphasize that you need two duvets, otherwise, you'll have to get an extra blanket from the front desk. The staff are mostly friendly and communicate primarily in English. Overall, I'd still recommend it.

I booked a twin room and stayed here twice. The first time, I was on the ground floor in a standard twin room. The facilities were complete, and while the room was small, it was very clean. There was no view from the window, just the ground floor platform. The second time, I was assigned a room on the 4th floor, with a view of the sky from the window. However, it was laid out for disabled access, and the bathroom flooded after a shower. Also, one of the 'twin beds' was actually a makeshift mattress, so one of the two adults didn't sleep well. When I asked to change rooms, I was told the hotel was fully booked and no changes could be made, which I was quite unhappy about. On the positive side, the hotel has a scenic pool and sauna on the 5th floor, which is great!

Walking distance to city centre and waterfront. But we were allocated to a room above main streets, so quite noisy. For a light sleeper, you may be woken up by trucks at 5am. Family room has 2 separate bedrooms (one with king bed, the other with 3 single beds, 1 bathroom to share) which is good for family stay. Value for money compared with other Hobart hotels. Also highly recommend the cafe nearby which called Ed’s only 120m away.

The hotel is perfectly located! There are a huge number of restaurants and bars nearby. There is a pier nearby, from where excursion boats depart. The room is huge and well thought out.

As a solo traveler on my first trip to Tasmania, I stayed two nights at this historic century-old hotel and was very satisfied overall! Explorers returning from Antarctic expeditions even stayed here back in the day! Facilities: It's an old building with a lot of history, but the interior facilities are very standard and comfortable for a good rest. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the mini-bar had complimentary tea bags and biscuits, as well as alcoholic beverages and snacks for purchase. Cleanliness: Extremely clean. The bathroom provided bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths, along with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Service: The front desk staff were very welcoming. When checking out, they asked about my stay and chatted about where I was heading next. The service staff all seemed quite easygoing. The only thing to note is that the power outlets in the room are all near the carpet, with no outlets by the table. So, when charging my phone, I had to place it on the carpet. The outlets are the same as in China, so no adapter is needed. Hobart is also a small city, and it's not far from the hotel to the Hobart Transit Centre or the Skybus station for the airport shuttle.

location was great for travellers who want to stay near the city centre. however, instructions for drivers were not clear. We noticed that there was a ”no left turn” sign leading to the main entrance of the hotel, but later we were then told that it was allowed as long as we are hotel guests. Otherwise, stay was pleasant, gym facilities were sufficient.

GGuest UserOverall, a pretty terrible experience – definitely avoid this place: 1. I arrived at the hotel around 10 AM and was told I absolutely couldn't check in until 3 PM, with zero flexibility. 2. The hotel itself is quite low-end, and the management is very haphazard and chaotic. During the day, there were a bunch of workers doing what looked like painting or renovations, and the entire hallway reeked of banana oil. 3. After being out all day, I finally checked in around 11 or 12 PM. I had booked an executive room, but they immediately told me there was only one left, clearly trying to pull a fast one. Since I had my child with me and just wanted to rest, I didn't argue then. Later, I tried to claim a refund for the price difference through Ctrip, which was a very reasonable request. However, after Ctrip contacted the hotel, they actually lied and claimed they had offered me breakfast, which was a blatant falsehood. 4. The hotel's cleanliness was mediocre, and the facilities were quite subpar. When I checked in that night, there was a crowd of dirty-looking Sri Lankans lining up to check in. 5. The safe in the room lacked basic instruction labels. I tried to use it a couple of times and ended up locking my belongings inside. Around midnight, a staff member came to open it with a master code, then told me he was leaving and that I'd have to ask another staff member the next day for proper usage instructions. I took a few photos – seriously, steer clear of this place!

AAiqinhaixingxingThe room was very nice, the boss was very nice, and he also provided a rich breakfast. It is also very convenient to go to various tourist attractions. It's also very close to the city. The overall feeling of staying here is very relaxing!

GGuest UserThis hotel offers incredible value for money. The facilities are new and very clean, with excellent housekeeping. They thoughtfully replenish water and a small carton of UHT milk daily, which is a lovely touch. Upon check-in, we received welcome cookies and got some fantastic restaurant recommendations (all of which were delicious!). They even took our contact number and sent daily texts to check in on us, which was very considerate. I'll definitely choose this hotel first on my next visit!

GGuest UserWe had a great stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the facilities were excellent — even better than some four-star hotels we’ve stayed in. We also had dinner at the hotel and it was absolutely delicious. The only small issue was that we could sometimes hear people talking in the hallway. Other than that, everything was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

GGuest UserThis beachfront cabin is right on Honeymoon Beach, offering stunning views. The hotel restaurant is also quite good. It's a 9-minute drive to the lighthouse boardwalk, and 6 minutes to the Sleepy Beach parking lot, from where it's a 10-minute walk down to the beach. Wineglass Bay parking is about a 10-minute drive, then it's a 40-minute walk to the lookout and over two hours to the beach.

GGuest UserIt is prefect to stay with children. The room is small, but it is super clean. We love the window in the roof and animals and fruit trees are around us. We picked some pears, and plums. We fed the chicken and ducks, sheeps, hourses, and cow. My daughter really love them!!! The staff in reception are super nice! They gave my daughter animal food many times and still giving us a welcomed face! Really appreciated that! Only one suggestion wanna make that there are only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer may not enough when some groups come. Thank you!

GGuest UserThe room's location is excellent, and the decor and cleanliness are on par with a normal five-star hotel. However, for both mornings of my stay, there was continuous maintenance noise starting at 7:30 AM, lasting for about an hour, and the hotel didn't notify guests in advance. On a positive note, the hotel's Italian restaurant is delicious.
