We checked in on Thursday and received a complimentary room upgrade. The hot springs pool on the first floor was incredibly comfortable and clean. The front desk attendant was very gentle and informative, explaining the hotel's facilities and environment. Two young men kindly helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room. The upgraded room was in Building 1, a bit far from the outdoor hot spring pools, so we opted to use the in-room hot spring. A packet of bath salts was provided, leaving our skin smooth after bathing. The first night's minibar was also complimentary, featuring two boxes of soy milk, Coke, and beer, plus a fruit platter. In the afternoon, we went out to take photos. The weather was lovely and sunny, and the flowers, plants, and trees were beautiful. The staff were diligently watering and cleaning, very hardworking. There's also a paid mini-train ride in the park. Our package included six archery shots, half an hour of mini-golf, as well as billiards and table tennis. Tennis, basketball, volleyball, and badminton courts are also available but require advance booking by phone. Our package also included a buffet dinner at the Brilliant Restaurant. Since the buffet wasn't available on Thursday, we were offered three options: a la carte at Brilliant Restaurant with an 800-yuan credit, a more standard 'order anything' menu with common home-style dishes, or a fixed set menu. I chose the a la carte option at the restaurant and ordered five dishes and a mango sago dessert. It was very filling, the food was excellent, and the service was perfect. We had black truffle conch slices, giant river prawns, casserole perilla mountain snails with free-range chicken, mango sago, and cumin pine nut baked lamb rice (which was incredibly delicious, though it took an hour to prepare. The crust was fragrant, and the lamb was excellent). The stir-fried fern shoots with dried shrimp was also very tasty, with a crisp yet tender texture similar to Chinese broccoli. Breakfast was also very rich, offering both Chinese and Western options, as well as steamed dim sum. All the staff were fantastic; they would introduce dishes and help clear plates quickly as soon as you approached the counter. There are also many children's facilities in the park, and it's a pet-friendly hotel with an outdoor pet park. The only downside is that there aren't enough signposts in the park. Even with a map, we still got lost frequently, haha.

This was my second time choosing the Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou, and my stay was once again absolutely perfect, even more impressive than the first time. Special thanks to Della and Edith! They contacted me proactively before check-in to ask about my needs, which made the entire check-in process incredibly smooth. This kind of thoughtful pre-arrival care made me feel the warmth of the Four Seasons even before I got to the hotel. What surprised me most was that upon check-out, they even gave me a commemorative room key card as a gift – such a thoughtful gesture! As a returning guest, it feels really great to be remembered and valued. From check-in to departure, every detail was handled just right. The service at Four Seasons Guangzhou is consistently top-notch, and Della and Edith's professionalism and enthusiasm were definitely the highlights of this stay. I highly recommend everyone to experience it. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Guangzhou!

First time in Shenzhen, and it was a great experience! My room got upgraded to a suite, which was lovely. The hotel beach is very private and quiet. I was a bit worried about parking, but the staff were very helpful and guided me to a spot. The sea view is fantastic, comparable to what you'd find in Sanya or Wanning, but with much better value than Hainan. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

Stepping into the lobby, the familiar scent was still there, but visually, it was completely new, modern, and incredibly well-designed. The high-ceilinged atrium, with its arcades and lush greenery, created an 'aerial garden' that perfectly captured the essence of Lingnan without feeling old-fashioned – the aesthetics are truly on point. This stay, Hotel Manager Alice specially prepared a welcome gift, complete with fresh fruit, desserts, and red wine. Sipping a drink while gazing at the magnificent view outside the window, I really appreciated feeling so valued. If you've ever been put off by the older Shangri-La hotels in other cities, you should definitely give this one in Nanshan, Shenzhen, a try. It retains Shangri-La's core of excellent service, but the hardware and design are absolutely next level. For business travelers or anyone looking for a relaxing weekend getaway, the experience here is truly flawless.

1. **Location:** Perfect for tourists! The library is right outside, and the APM line provides direct access to most attractions. 2. **Service:** Before arrival, someone called to confirm my arrival time and needs. My requested birthday decorations were also arranged smoothly. The front desk staff who checked me in around noon on the 11th was incredibly warm and welcoming (though I forgot her name). She attentively addressed my room requests. By the way, the concierge was also very dedicated. Although my room key failed twice, and the wait to get new ones slightly delayed my schedule, the duty manager was understanding and offered solutions. (However, I must strongly criticize the attitude of the front desk staff member who answered my second call when my key failed again – it wasn't the original person, and her demeanor was extremely rude and cold.) 3. **Breakfast:** While the selection was small, the taste was quite good. 4. **Housekeeping:** The male staff member who cleaned the room was very meticulous. 5. **Decor:** It's the classic Ritz style, but because the hotel is a bit older, the wooden floors sometimes creak. However, the facilities are consistently updated, which you can tell by the Toto toilets. The toiletries were Diptyque, and the water was Voss. Overall, I'm grateful to the Ritz for giving my friend and me a wonderful birthday memory! We were very happy! 🥳

I initially thought the hotel was inside the Spring Bamboo shoot building, but it's actually nestled beside it, like a young lady leaning against it. The overall South-East Asian style is very comfortable and tasteful, not tacky or ostentatious. The public areas are a bit narrow, giving a feeling of walking through alleyways. The room doesn't have a sofa, just a round table with two chairs. It misses the experience of being able to lie by the bed and enjoy the night view. The walk-in closet is tucked away at the very back, and I had to search for it for a while initially. At night, I could see a concert at the stadium and the night view of Talent Park. The mini-bar drinks and snacks are replenished daily, which is generous. The selection clearly shows thoughtful curation. For this price point, a complimentary mini-bar like this is the best in Shenzhen (Mandarin Oriental charges, Raffles is slightly weaker). On the first evening, they brought a bowl of red bean soup, but it wasn't offered on the second night. When I asked the housekeeping staff, I got the standard 'I don't know, I just started recently...' response. However, there were chocolates with the turndown service. The à la carte breakfast options are quite varied and portions are generous, while the buffet section is smaller. It feels like most hotels that use a non-buffet restaurant for breakfast don't have grand buffet setups, but the food here is refined and worth experiencing. They've opened up two adjacent dining areas, so there's no queuing. For those who prefer quiet, the Western restaurant near the elevator feels like a different world compared to the inner dining area – highly commendable and something hotels with long breakfast queues should learn from. Later, comparing it to other Shenzhen hotels, I felt I might have been a bit harsh on Andaz's butler service. After all, with the incredibly competitive service in Sanya, it's easy to become accustomed to it elsewhere. While there weren't any particularly unexpected surprises, it still deserves five stars, showing diligent and responsible service. Currently, if someone asks me to recommend the top hotel in Shenzhen, I would choose Andaz.

Facilities: The new hotel is great, and the public areas are decorated with a strong artistic flair. However, compared to the Conrad next door, the rooms are a bit smaller, each with its own advantages in terms of layout. Hygiene: Excellent. Environment: The location isn't ideal; there aren't many commercial complexes within walking distance. This is definitely where the Conrad surpasses it. Service: Having stayed at the Conrad the night before, the Conrad felt much more thoughtful in comparison. They had a butler contact us in advance to confirm the number of guests and prepare amenities. The Conrad also upgraded our room for free and paid special attention to us knowing we had a child. Plus, the minibar was complimentary. Coming to the St. Regis Qianhai, there was inevitably a bit of a letdown 😂. However, the St. Regis's breakfast was outstanding, which was a definite plus. Overall: If you're traveling for business or as a couple, the St. Regis has a good vibe (though this Shenzhen one is a little less impressive than the Zhuhai St. Regis, but much, much better than the Macau St. Regis 😂). If you're traveling with family, you might want to consider other hotels.

The room was incredibly spacious. The hotel even surprised me with a cake for my birthday, which was a lovely touch. The yellow bathrobe was exceptionally comfortable. I loved it so much that I immediately bought a new one from the butler after checking out! I was initially told there would be a charge for extra beds, and I requested two. To my pleasant surprise, the hotel waived the extra bed fees when I checked out. It was a wonderful and unexpected gesture. Big thanks to the butler team — Kathryn, Maddy, Qian, and Echo — as well as the duty manager, Singer, for their excellent service. The only minor disappointment was that some of the Panorama Suite layouts differed slightly from the pictures on Trip.com, and the specific room type I wanted was fully booked. However, this didn't dampen my overall positive impression of the hotel. If I have the chance, I would definitely choose Raffles again. I hope to get my preferred Panorama Suite layout next time. (The evening buffet at the Starlight restaurant was absolutely delicious, especially the all-you-can-eat oysters – six different kinds! So delightful.)

Opened in 2015, Park Hyatt Guangzhou, while not located within Guangzhou's iconic landmarks (the Zhujiang New Town East and West Towers are right next door, offering equally close views of the Canton Tower), still secures its spot among Guangzhou's top luxury hotels thanks to its high-end ambiance, exquisite cuisine, and exceptional service. As the flagship Hyatt property, Park Hyatt Guangzhou's dining options are particularly noteworthy and truly impressive. This visit, I sampled Yue Jing Xuan and Yue Xuan. The former is renowned for its Black Pearl One-Star Cantonese cuisine, while the latter is an authentic Italian restaurant (also serving semi-buffet breakfast and brunch). Dishes like Yue Jing Xuan's flaming salt-baked crab, red crab steamed with Huang Gong chili and Chinese cabbage, crispy chicken with black truffle, baked Dalian five-head abalone with ginger and spring onion, stewed fish maw with fresh lily and rice valley, and sour soup hand-pulled noodles in a clay pot, as well as Yue Xuan's freshly made black truffle pizza, handcrafted preserved plum sparkling water, Tiramisu, various breads, and blueberry milkshake, were all incredibly delicious. Furthermore, as a luxury hotel, the service is impeccable. Whether it's the front office, guest rooms, dining, or kitchen, every department works seamlessly together in perfect coordination to ensure guests feel the warmth of home. Special thanks to F&B Director Nancy, Yue Xuan Manager Andy, Assistant Manager Nancy, Yue Jing Xuan Restaurant Manager Candy, Assistant Manager Noah, Front Office Manager Mark, Assistant Managers Mia and Jamie, Guest Services Zero, Housekeeping Macy, Eric, and the entire management and operations team. Park Hyatt Guangzhou is definitely worth revisiting!

Checked in on Chinese New Year's Eve, and the service was amazing! It was a truly delightful and relaxing experience. The room was clean and tidy, and we received complimentary welcome fruits and desserts, which my child absolutely loved. The evening dessert soup was also delicious! The indoor pool wasn't huge, but thankfully it wasn't crowded, and the water temperature was just right. It's a shame our onward travel plans were already set, so we could only stay for one night. Next time I'm in Guangzhou, this will be my top choice! I don't usually take photos, but here are a few snaps my child took!
