The bedding was comfortable, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. The staff were warm and attentive, and the check-in process was highly efficient. The location is also very convenient. Overall, everything was impeccable. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip, highly recommended!

GGuest UserI highly recommend this hotel ❤️. It's right on the main street of Pingjiang Road, by the canal. It's not one of those tiny guesthouses; it seems to have nearly twenty rooms, and the decor and facilities are excellent. Most rooms are on the second floor, and downstairs, you're right amidst all sorts of food and shops, which is incredibly convenient. During the day, Pingjiang Road is bustling with people, but the windows have two layers, providing good sound insulation. By about 10:30 PM, the streets quiet down, so you can go downstairs and stroll around leisurely. At night, the streets are mostly empty, making the rooms very quiet. The rooms are clean, tidy, and quite spacious. The staff are also very warm and attentive. The parking lot is right across the street, just over a small bridge. It's also very close to nearby attractions from the hotel.

it’s walking distance to the best food street ,all well known Nanjing cuisine can be found here
Walking distance to wudingmen metro station to and from Nanjing station ,just few steps away we can position ourselves for didi /taxi
The hotel is located in the area maintaining Traditional Chinese architecture , decoration and greenery ,great for photography
we got the room with a beautiful backyard full of plants and blossoms of flowers and a tray of welcome tea after checked in, the bed and pillows are comfortable ,showers is nice and warm
Light Chinese breakfast served is good enough to start a day and not too much for the delicious Nanjing lunch later on:-)
The girls at front desk are very friendly and sweet they were always ready to help
The owners I guess who were on night shift were polite and respectful
Overall we had a great time here thank you

We had booked a family room and were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a family room with a bathtub. It was a wonderful gesture that made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is also within walking distance of Pingjiang Road, making it very convenient for sightseeing, dining, and exploring the local area. We truly appreciated the thoughtful upgrade and had a great experience overall. Highly recommended!

WWorld wonders 探险者Nestled in the heart of a picturesque landmark, this guesthouse offers stunning views of Pingjiang Road at night. There's a cat café right across the street, which is a lovely touch. The breakfast spread is generous, and you can even do your laundry for free. GGuest UserThe hotel was very crowded, and there was a wait for check-in. However, while waiting, the front desk gave us temporary room cards so we could visit Panmen.
The pool was the most crowded spot, with many coaches giving lessons both indoors and outdoors. It was swarming with people, and they splashed water everywhere without regard for others. It was only less crowded around noon and early in the morning.
The breakfast was good and served until 10:30 AM. Although there was no announcement before closing, the local specialties were all delicious, and the fruit was very sweet. The only fresh juices available were carrot and cucumber.
However, during our stay, there was renovation work on the floor above us, specifically floor drilling during nap time, with no prior communication. The assumption that guests wouldn't be in their rooms was very disappointing. We called the front desk to complain about the noise, and they kept saying they would look into it, but nothing was done. Eventually, my family had to go upstairs themselves to ask the workers to stop. Afterwards, the duty manager came to apologize and asked if the renovation could continue for just another hour... I almost laughed out loud. We paid to stay here, not to listen to construction noise. They finally offered a welcome fruit basket as an apology, which was also quite amusing, as other hotels provide welcome fruit upon check-in, but here you only get it if something goes wrong.
Neither during check-in nor check-out were we asked if we had a car, nor were we informed that we needed to scan a QR code for free parking. It was also difficult to reach the front desk by phone, as it often rang for a long time without anyone answering.

GGuest UserI stayed here temporarily for a business trip. The location was excellent, close to a commercial area with convenient transportation, and near many universities. The receptionist, Lychee, Blueberry, and Apple, provided warm and attentive service, and the check-in process was very efficient. My experience was perfect! All my inquiries were answered clearly, making it convenient for both travel and work. Overall, I was very satisfied.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it's conveniently located if you're planning to visit the nearby mountains or Taihu Lake. Right next to the hotel is a shopping mall with a Cha Yan Yue Se (tea house), making dining and shopping very convenient. Although this is a Marriott extended-stay brand, we discovered it's a hidden gem for families with kids. During the May Day holiday, they had daily kids' activities. On our check-in day, we participated in a kite-painting activity at the lobby bar, and after painting, we flew the kites on the lawn in front of the hotel. My child had an absolute blast!
We were assigned the smallest suite and received complimentary welcome desserts. The front desk staff, noticing we had a child, proactively sent kids' toiletries to our room, which felt like a very thoughtful touch. The room is equipped with a refrigerator and microwave, perfectly meeting the needs of an extended stay.

Check-in Experience
We arrived early at around 6 AM due to the difficulty of booking train tickets during the holiday season. Although check-in was at 3 PM, the staff kindly accommodated us with an early check-in for an additional fee.
Accommodation
We stayed in two types of rooms during our visit:
Single Room - Spacious and located in a peaceful, quiet area of the property.
RV Room - Situated near the camping area where families and friends gather around a large bonfire for singing, BBQ, and games.
**Ratings**
Staff: 8/10 - Friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
Shuttle Service: 10/10 - The driver was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling. Since my daughter has asthma and walking long distances is difficult for her, we frequently requested shuttle service between locations. This was especially helpful as ride-share drivers typically drop off at the entrance, which is quite a walk from the rooms and facilities.
Breakfast: 10/10 - Excellent variety of traditional Chinese dishes. They were accommodating when my husband requested takeout.
Cleanliness: 10/10 - Both rooms were clean, including the beds, towels, and bathrooms. As my daughter’s asthma is triggered by dust, I was pleased that the rooms were clean enough that she didn’t experience any sneezing or symptoms. We all slept well for the entire five days.
**Things to Consider**
It’s highly recommended to have your own car, as the property is quite far from the city center.
If you enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this place is ideal. Activities include:
- ATV rides
- Fishing area
- Playground (note: adults are charged rather than children, so it’s more economical for only one adult to enter)
- Small animal area featuring rabbits, ostriches, and llamas (15 RMB entry)
- Train ride (30 RMB)
The coffee shop has a wonderful atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, making it popular for photos. The property itself is spacious and perfect for leisurely walks. There’s also a temple nearby, approximately 20 minutes away by car.
**Challenges We Faced**
My daughter developed a fever and experienced diarrhea during our stay. When I called the front desk for help, the staff member wasn’t very accommodating and suggested my husband go buy medicine. This was difficult for us as foreigners who don’t speak the language well. I felt sad and helpless, especially when we couldn’t get any taxis or cabs to pick us up. We wanted to take her to the hospital, but no cabs were available.
However, the next morning, a staff member spoke with me who was extremely kind and accommodating. They even offered to drive my daughter to the hospital, which I declined because we needed to catch our train and she was feeling better after taking medicine. They drove us to the South Railway Station and thoughtfully gave my daughter bags and drinks. It was a very kind gesture that we truly appreciated.
