We stayed only for two nights. I guess the hotel is very old and the floor is very uneven. Whole room is slanted to one side. Kind of weird but ok. We tried the hotel restaurant and the food was very nice. Parking is also quite secured.

Staff were good at check in and were polite, however when another guest caused us problems and I could have escalated it a lot further, the staff didn’t really want to know or seem to care, weren’t helpful or very empathetic I had to contact trip to get resolved. It ruined the weekend away and it made me want to also leave early it really wasn’t a great time away. It was well located and had a fuel station nearby which stocked plenty of food choices and a Greggs even ! Location was good for transport ample parking too. The cleanliness was overall a 50/50 there was dust where perhaps there shouldn’t be lampshades top headboard, was a tad dated but functional, and the bed was comfy. Bathroom was overall ok, modern in some areas others lacking a bit and looking tired. Breakfast wasn’t too bad, but some bits I found weren’t to my own taste the bacon was odd to me but being a buffet type Ijust didn’t have it again, they did have pastry’s, cereal toast and condiments with drinks like juice, water tea coffee etc.

The air conditioning wasn’t working I went and spoke to someone and they brought up fans which was fine then around 3 am air conditioning unit kicked in blowing warm air out and very loud so woke me up the next morning I put a complaint in and the lady was very helpful and apologetic she said she would look in to it a week later I got an email apologising saying I could have a refund that was 6 weeks ago and I’m still waiting

The hotel is close to the town centre and the high street, which is very convenient. Parking is available, but it costs £20 for 24 hours. Guests can get a 50% discount on parking when staying at the hotel. The breakfast is basic, and the amenities are limited. Overall, it is fine for a one-night stay. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Ideal location as 10 minutes walk (15 if slow walker) from railway station. Newsagents next door to buy milk and snacks. Room was good size and the bed was very comfortable, I slept right through from 10pm to 7am which is very unusual for me. Only slight niggle was the lack of choice at breakfast, I think next time I will have breakfast at the close by Wetherspoon pub instead.

The hotel was brilliant and a great location next to the retail park with many options for food - but there is an option for evening meal and breakfast deal with hotel + beefeater pub opposite. Had some trouble checking in but it was not the hotel's fault it was with the booking through this app - Trip. The women behind the desk was helpful and all was resolved. Never had issues with train bookings but first time with hotels.

Good nights sleep

The hotel is an old English-style hotel. The room and bathroom are large. The bathroom faucet is difficult to control. After the electric kettle is opened, it is not dare to use it. It is necessary to pick up the luggage and make a sound on the wooden building. There are big supermarkets and places to buy food nearby. Convenience

Easy to check in. Single room has plenty of space. Great choice for breakfast. Very helpful staff. Close to everything, from the sights of Spalding to great places to drink and eat.
