Satisfaction exceeded expectations! The rooms are spacious, clean and well-equipped, and the service is very good. Pick-up and drop-off from the pier and bus station are provided. After placing the order, the landlord immediately sent an email to tell me in great detail what ways can be reached from different places, which provided a great help! This property is about 3 minutes' walk from the most famous Golden Horn beach, the location is too good! There is a restaurant below, in addition to breakfast, dinner is also eaten here, the taste is very good! I personally feel that Pol on Brač Island is much better than Hvar. It is a leisure place that Croatians like very much. They think Hvar is too noisy and crowded, which is the truth, so I would recommend Brač Island, especially this accommodation !

Located in a pine wood area. To the beach maybe 100m, depends on your room location, to the „Golden“ 10 min walking, to old town 15min. Hotel is renovated but because of its size and the colors (a lot in white) it is not “charming”. I enjoyed the pool, had no time to book a Spa treatment. The room was small, kind of faded glory, but with balcony and new bathroom. Breakfast is of good quality but always same choice and the interior has the charm of a factory.

The friendly guidance and help of the hotel reception staff were impressive. The only inconvenience was that the room was a little small. Breakfast was great too.

The place was in the heart of old town and yet it was very quiet. The room was super clean with a large size bathroom. The breakfast was out of this world (omelette, five different kinds of fruit, yogurt, cheese, croissant, pancake, coffee,…….). And the owners are extremely kind and attentive. They helped me to carry the luggage to the room. There is a fridge, tea, and coffee in the room as well. If I go back, I will stay in the same place over and over again.

Hotel Villa Daniela is very well located in Bol. Our room was very small, so it was a bit cramped with two carry-on suitcases. The bathroom was big enough for that. The room was clean, but the air conditioning kept turning on and off (we don't know where the temperature sensor was in the room), which made the room very warm at times. In general, the facilities are a bit old, but the hotel is clean, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast is very good.

I stayed at this hotel for a week, and overall I would say the experience did not match what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. The hotel is located next to a roundabout, so there is constant traffic noise throughout the day and night. The room itself felt quite basic and lacked warmth or interior design charm. There was no couch or comfortable sitting area, and the TV was both small and positioned very far from the bed, which made it less enjoyable to use. Breakfast options were also limited, with very little variety from day to day. The kitchen mainly offered egg-based dishes, and I expected a wider selection for a hotel of this category. I also tried the food served in the lobby area, but the quality was disappointing and tasted more like premade food rather than freshly prepared meals. The stay was acceptable overall, but there are several areas where the hotel could improve to better reflect a true 5-star experience.

Perfect stay in Bol. Walking distance to restaurants and beaches. Very comfortable, good pool to refresh after a full day exploring the island. Good breakfast. Can't recommend another place to stay in Bol.

Great location right in the town center, close to all the attractions. The breakfast was plentiful, and while parking usually costs €10 per day, we arrived on a weekend and the staff kindly informed us that it's free from Saturday 2 PM to Sunday 2 PM. A very good hotel overall.

This hotel offers exceptional value for money! The environment is clean and hygienic, featuring a private pebble beach, outdoor pool, and complimentary beach chairs – a truly relaxing vacation experience. The breakfast and dinner buffets offer a wide variety of choices, and the homemade bread is a delightful surprise! Overall, the experience is excellent value and incredibly relaxing, making it the perfect choice for a vacation. Highly recommended!

Big hotel consisting of several buildings. We were in room 602, this room was recently renovated and beautifully decorated. Badkaner has a rain shower. Spacious balcony with a seat, a large tree is before the balcony so you had unfortunately interrupted sea and swimming pool view. The hotel has 2 swimming pools with beds and sunshines. We were there in May and there were enough beds. The hotel is located a walk from the beach and 10 minutes walk to the famous Zlatni Rat strsnd. If you walk the other side, you walk through a walk to Bol. You stay on the basis of voloension plus, this means that drinking is included during dinner. The restaurant is spacious with a large covered terrace. There is something for everyone wants to eat. Everyone heated the food a little warmer, much was lazy. We stayed here in May, 3 machers, and this hotel is too mass for us in the high season. But it's a ashes.

JJohn Kemp-GeeI was somewhat taken aback by your email. I will address your points below. 1. This room has two windows, one is in the bedroom and this one is on your picture, Second window is In living room and has a direct sea view, no wall view. - This is not a sea view. This is a view with a little bit of water in it. I ask you to visit rooms with true sea views and you will notice the difference. The people viewing reviews online can judge for themselves. 2. We are suprised by your claim about constant noise during the night because of cleaning activites and general foot traffic in the reception area. First because you didn't mentioned it during your stay and during check-out, and second reason is because we never clean during the night and only one receptionist is in the reception area in this time and there is no possibility of any traffic on the reception. - There are c. Four rooms next to reception. The halls echo. To us it sounded like cleaning. If it was not cleaning, then I advise your staff to be more quiet at night. 3. Puteus Palace is situated near the main church and as Croatia is catholic country so the local habit is that church bell are ringing every hour from 6 am – 11 pm to present time of the day and on Sudays they ring longer to celebrate mass. As you came on Sunday evening to the reception and claimed about bell ringing it was explained it to you that on Sunday the bells ring a bit longer during the day. - it was explained after check out. I advise you inform guests prior to check in. 4. As you came on Sunday evening to the reception and claimed about bell ringing it was explained it to you that on Sunday the bells ring a bit longer during the day. Our receptionist offered you ear plugs which you refused and you decided to check out on this evening. - I use these words cautiously - whoever informed you of this has lied to you. We were not offered ear plugs. In any case ear plugs would have made no difference. I advise you make this clearer on your website. 5. Our receptionist offered you twice assistance with the luggage wich you refused as well. - I would not have provided this feedback if it was not true. It appears that you are calling me a liar which I take great offence to. No assistance was offered. I am appalled that this is your reply. I would have been fine to carry my luggage but you let my girlfriend carry her luggage alone without assistance. I do not expect any compensation for what was a hugely disappointing stay. Your email has magnified what are glaring inadequacies in your offering. Thank you for taking the time to reply but I find your reply totally inadequate and inaccurate.

Outstanding
SSeat 2AThis is an intimate 5-room establishment situated amidst the alleys of the Old Town, hence cars cannot drop passengers at the doorstep. Easy enough to catch a shuttle bus for EUR 8 from the airport to the bus station at the port, from which a Makarun staff will meet you and assist you with your luggage to the hotel, a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast is a la carte, as is to be expected for such a small establishment, comprising 3 courses - pastry/toast, eggs of your choice with cold cuts, and a dessert, complemented by tea coffee and/or juice. Food was more than adequate in terms of quantity and quality. My room was comfortable enough, though 2 issues were noticeable: * Instead of a flat cotton bed sheet, there was a fitted sheet made of what seemed like jersey, and looked more like a mattress protector. This was pilled and coarse, in contrast to the far smoother cotton quilt cover. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they explained that this is standard for the hotel. Whilst it did not affect the quality of my sleep, the coarseness of the sheet wasn't entirely pleasant * In the bathroom, the shower was mounted at waist height, hence one either had to hold the shower in one hand, or, if there was a need to use both hands to wash, then one would have to crouch under the shower while it was in its holder. Not particularly convenient. Overall a comfortable stay in a convenient location, enhanced by the friendly and solicitous Ivan and Mario.

AAobfoodieGreat location, view was amazing and room was clean and nice furniture ! -Staff was very absent and you need a key to get in the hotel and in room. we forgot our key in our room and realised after dinner around 11pm and even though staff should be in hotel until 3am : no one was there . We had to contact by phone only but being Canadian we didn’t have a working phone . We almost slept outside. . We got help from neighbour restaurant. - staff supposed to start again at 7 am ; we left at 8 without checking out as again there was no one . - my daughter got her EarPods stolen in our room we could locate them with the Apple app and could see exactly where they were . Again no staff at all in hotel to tell them cleaning person stole. (We are SURE 100% they were stolen as they didn’t leave the room we never brought electronics with us anywhere and the location they were at was 7km away from hotel where we had never been. - they offer steaming service, I wanted to use it but they told my it took 1 week to fet my clothing back .. we were there for 4 days. Staff offered to bring a steamer to my room so I could do it myself . They never brought it… -there was a beautiful terrace on the 4th floor but we only found out about it on our last night . - we wanted to go to a beach and the staff said it was a 45 min walk and that’s only way to go. We walked . Finally when we got there .. we could have takes a trolley for 3euro …. We took it to come back. -

GGuest UserNice hotel but only if you can get it around 250 euro per night - any more and it’s probably expensive for what it is but hey it’s Hvar and nothing is cheap The rooms are nice and AC works well The Breakfast is very good and Marko and his team really go above and beyond The location is excellent right on a little beach which is free but chairs need to be rented and a 10 min walk along the boardwalk to old town Now the bad The reception don’t really seem to care about the guest and are actually pretty rude Second day HK didn’t come when we asked reception we were told did we ask for HK ? Which was strange thing to say really when the day before we had it It then took hours to get the room cleaned and follow up visits for towels and soap On the last day we left our bags and arranged the free ferry pick up and drop bag service (which you don’t know about until you arrive) we asked what time would the bags leave so we can change first the said 3.30pm when we got back at 3 the bags were gone and they said sorry we were busy so we had to walk to the ferry in our swimwear as we planed to change It’s only a small matter but shows how they really don’t care and say what they like

GGuest UserFantastic hotel, 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal and bus station. The resort is small but makes for a quiet holiday which is exactly what we were looking for. We were upgraded to the harbour suite which is a stunning room, although no balcony, didn’t bother us, just to make others aware. Shower gel and shampoo are Ritual branded and smell lovely. The food is fabulous, breakfast is buffet style and dinner (for half boarders) is chosen off the menu. Really high quality and believe they were Michelin recommended for 2024. They even gave us a breakfast bag as we were checking out very early. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and can’t do enough for you. This was the case from reception, restaurant to the roof top bar. All were great. The rooftop bar was a brilliant place to sit and watch the sunset and the ferry coming and going. The pool is covered and heated with a separate area for sunbathing. There’s also a couple of saunas you can use. The smallest gripe, it would be good to trim the top of the trees which blocked the view from the sun terrace. Would absolutely stay here again for a chilled and relaxing holiday.

GGuest UserThis was a rushed booking due to our original hotel not having our booking. Normally I spend considerable time going through reviews etc, but with the Azur Palace (hotel?) it was a case of needs must. Unfortunately although we had booked a deluxe double in our opinion it didn’t match similar 4 star hotel deluxe rooms. I mentioned this to reception but they weren’t really interested. Appreciate we were virtually in the centre of split, with space at a premium, but the view of a small alley with graffiti an empty minibar, not even plugged in, an irritating dim light, I think from the a/c that ensured the room wasn’t completely dark. After trying to close it down without success I went to reception, which had a note with a phone number to call. I gave up went back to the room and tried throwing a towel over it. Also no bar, although there are a few within couple of minutes. Overall disappointing.

AAdamsKateThe location is right on the beach which is nice if you want that, but otherwise a bit far from the downtown, and taxis are very expensive here, so it would cost at least 25€ to get from hotel to town. The room and view were lovely, but when I moved a rug there were bugs crawling under it. The pool and spa looked amazing but we didn't have time to go so I can't say much more than that. The breakfast was top notch, amazing, lots of delicious options for every person -- spoilt for choice. Loved the amphora displays in the lobby.

LLC678Good location in the palace area, but it could be very confused because the hotel has different annex which is couple minutes walk apart. And it could be difficult to find the location of the annex, for the one I stay in named Villa Donbric couldn’t be find in Google map. Besides, since we have couple of large luggages, we look for hotel with elevator but the annex I stayed didn’t facilitated one. (I am not sure the other annex has one or not) The room is smaller than I expected, it’s a bit messy when we open up two luggage together. Other than that, it’s a cozy place to stay with helpful staff. The breakfast is served and good, with different options of eggs. I suggest extra attention is better when booking the hotel about the location and concern with luggages. Or I will suggest booking their optional pick up service.

MMark ElshoutExcellent location right in the centre of great restaurants and the tourism hotspots. The room and bathtub are great. Good wifi and television box for plenty of viewing options. Rooftop garden/outdoor area is amazing at sunset (see attached photos). A couple of things to prepare yourself for which are out of the control of the hotel owners: there are 90 steps to the floor where the rooms are so would not recommend if you are physically challenged, and the restaurants in the square do have music till quite late which is audible in the rooms so light sleepers may like to try ear plugs. Sound did not bother us and the walk up the stairs was good for our health! The whole of the city has bell ringing at various times during the day (7am, Midday, 8pm) No need to set an alarm to wake up in the morning!
