I stayed at this hotel for a business trip, but its strategic downtown location made it feel like a bit of a vacation too. It's close to Banda Aceh's iconic mosque, which made getting around super easy and the atmosphere was really pleasant. It's perfect for anyone coming to Banda Aceh for business who still wants to enjoy the city without any hassle.

Everything was good eventho after flood in Aceh. I stayed during the flood season. The area wasn’t flooded, but there were power issues and unstable internet, so the hotel operated on a generator. Very friendly and polite staff. Room also clean. But the bathroom was not safe. The shower head fell and hit my shoulder while I was showering. Breakfast was good. I really liked the bihun goreng. The nasi goreng was a little bland, but it wasn’t a big issue. Ouh yaa, hotel near to Sate Matang stalls and souvenir shop. Can shopping at night because souvenir shop closed on 11pm.

Really worth the money. The hotel is near to Masjid Raya Baiturrahman and in a walking distance. Very suitable for those travellers aim to go for frequent prayers at the mosque. Apart from that, the hotel located besides Blang Padang area which is local recreational area where you find local cuisines and place to enjoy Banda Aceh’s view

Rooms, equipments, restaurants are all good. Only reception can’t handle with situation. Many customers do not have ideas to wait and they cut in so often, but reception never warmed them or even let them proceed. Can’t recommend this place otherwise you’ll feel very uncomfortable.

The hotel is located at many interesting locations. Masjid Masjid Raya Baiturrahman, Pasar Aceh, souvenir shops, seafood restaurant. The staffs very attentive and accomodating. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. Cleanliness is good.

Last minute booking this hotel after arrived at Banda Aceh on 22 Nov 2023. Price is reasonable. We received room number 333 and unfortunately the wifi connection was too bad. No connection inside room and we need to go down to lobby only able to get connected. Inform receiption and received reply nothing can be done. After dinner I did complain again to another receiption staff and he response very well by help us to change another room to 355 which is connection Wifi was extremely very good. Also help us to carry our luggage. He was so helpful and very good staff. Overall amenities was ok. Highly recommended for Muslim guest.

The building has a strong Arabian style and is in a good location. It is 20 minutes drive from the airport. There are many restaurants nearby, and it is close to the attractions of Aceh. There is a buffet dinner in the evening, but it can also be a single point.

The location is very strategic...close to everywhere, especially next to a mini market and gas station and there are shops around so if you want to buy something, just walk. Kulineran can also be on foot...

Had such a lovely stay at Hotel Hilani! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel super welcome — big smiles, quick check-in, and they were always ready to help. One of the staff even greeted me by my name, which honestly gave such a nice vibe ✨ The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed to just relax. I really loved how calm and peaceful the atmosphere was — perfect after a long day. Service stayed great the whole time, and you can tell the team really cares about guests. Overall it was such a smooth, stress-free stay. I’d definitely come back and recommend it if you’re looking for a cozy place with genuinely friendly hospitality 🤍

Hotel is nice and secluded. Beautiful view, friendly staffs. Room is big. But the toilet is dirty and moldy. Not suitable for wheelchair
