The front staff were not friendly, and there was very little warmth or hospitality. Even though our room was already ready, they were very strict about only allowing check-in after 3pm, which made things inconvenient—especially for families travelling with children or elderly. 🏨 Room Condition The hotel is quite old, and it shows. • The room had a noticeable old smell when we entered. • The toilet wasn’t very clean, and water leaked out into the room area, which was uncomfortable and unsafe for kids. • Overall, the upkeep and cleanliness were not at the standard we expected. 🏊 Facilities We went to the pool area but found no staff at the pool counter, which made it difficult to request towels or assistance. The location is very strategic, easy for looking for food, shopping and hanging out but they need to improve their responsiveness especially the manager in accepting the inputs from travellers like us. Overall, thanks to Uty one of the staff was very kind to us. Very appreciated for the responses. One more, need to increase the cleanliness.

I stayed at Novotel Pekanbaru with my wife and children for a short staycation. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and family-friendly. My kids really enjoyed the swimming pool, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety of options. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a great choice for a family getaway.

I had a pleasant stay overall. The check-in process was smooth — in fact, I was given an early check-in which I truly appreciated. The room was spacious and breakfast was good with a nice variety. My only concern was the air-conditioning in the room I stayed in. Unfortunately, it wasn’t cooling properly. I informed the front desk, and the technician came to check, but there was no improvement. This made the stay less comfortable. Other than that, everything else was great good.

the room size is good,just nice for 2 of us.the bed was comfort and soft.the bathroom hot water not so good,took long time to get hot but still not so hot as we expected.there was no labelling of whether it is shampoo or bath soap.we requested iron but never come. the location was at city centre but not noisy as it was not in front of main street.you can go anywhere from the hotel especially STC Ramayana. the breakfast was not as we expected,too basic as what Cititel names should have.but the dining area was clean and spacious. the lobby was small and not enough sofa to seat while waiting for check-in,please improve on this!. the motorcycle parking is good but please put spotlight to make it brighter. overall was okey for us as we only spend time at hotel during sleep as day we outside at Pekanbaru city.

This is our 1st time to Pekan Baru with new experience staying in Khas Hotel. Very warm hospitality from the team. The room is spacious but they did not provide the mini fridge. So sad😣(to management team- pls take note).We have a issue with the shower but the team managed to settle the problem in a time.Located near to the airport about 20 minutes away.Easy to get Grab/Maxime. On the right side hotel there Makam Pahlawan. And the best thing, RM Pagi Sore is only opposite the hotel🤩

The hotel is very clean and peaceful， The service is also good， rooms are spacious and dont carry bad smell. The only problem i can think of is towels and curtain. which i guess wont be problem for anyone who is not picky like me， there is a little amount of light leaking through curtains which will make you awake if you are sensitive to light. Also the towels are thin which are not to my liking and they are missing small towels. Breakfast downstairs is delicious but there isnt much to select from.morning coffee is the best i have tasted all over indonesia. Over all good hotel and would choose to stay here next time too. The room was more spacious than expected, clean and tidy overall, with plenty of room to move between the bed and the TV wall, so unpacking luggage didn't feel cramped. The air conditioning was also very powerful. The hotel is about a 30-minute drive from Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport. Facilities: The Lobby and *** Restaurant are on the 2nd floor, while the Pool, Gym, SPA, and Pool Bistro are on the 15th floor. Ideal for short stays of 1-2 nights, business trips, or layovers.
