During my recent trip to Japan, I had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that also serves as a wedding venue — and from the moment I arrived, the level of service was simply impeccable. The staff were not only gracious and professional, but also went out of their way to assist me at every turn, despite my lack of Japanese language skills. Their warm hospitality left a lasting impression and made me feel truly welcomed and cared for. Though the room was compact, it was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully arranged. As a solo traveler, I found the space more than sufficient — cozy, comfortable, and a fantastic value for the price. It truly struck the perfect balance between affordability and quality. A special mention goes to the amenities: the hotel provides a well-stocked amenity station at the reception, where guests can freely pick up whatever they need — a detail that reflects the hotel’s attention to guest convenience. While the location is a little removed from the city center, this wasn’t an issue at all for me, as I had a rental car. The added bonus? Free parking on-site, which made my stay even more convenient and budget-friendly. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. With its blend of elegant ambiance, exceptional service, and thoughtful touches, it became a peaceful and comfortable base for my journey — one I would gladly return to and wholeheartedly recommend to fellow travelers.

The room was quite spacious for Japan, but there was a slight musty smell upon entering. I'm not sure if it's because of the wooden furniture and being by the sea, but overall, it wasn't a big issue and was acceptable. The window view was beautiful. You can take a bus directly to the airport from downstairs, and it's also very convenient for island hopping from the port.

The room is bigger than expected, but the facilities are a bit old, basically clean, and the service is normal. Check-in and room are not in the same building, but it is not a big problem. There is a shampoo bar in the check-in lobby where you can pick up items by yourself (it feels like a promotional spot), and there are disposable items and shampoo and shower gel in the room. The advantage is that for our itinerary, the location is better, just opposite Takamatsu Station and close to the pier. It is convenient to take a bus to and from Osaka and take a boat to several islands, but it is far from the center of Takamatsu. However, there are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so eating is not a problem~

My friend and I stayed at Webase two single rooms during our trip for Setouchi Triennale 2025. Although it is a bit far from the station and Takamatsu Port (20 minutes on foot), it is very close to shopping area, and the food streets, Many restaurants and cafes nearby. Friendly English / Mandarins speaking staffs, easy self check-in/out. All was as expected and described.

This is an absolutely lovely hotel. It's spotlessly clean, and the breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Although the room isn't huge, its clever layout ensures it never feels cramped. It's well-equipped with everything you need: a fridge, TV, separate shower and toilet, and even a bathtub. I stayed on the 12th floor, and the sunrise from my window in the morning was incredibly beautiful. I especially want to commend the staff. During my trip, I had a minor cycling accident and injured my arm. The front desk staff quickly helped me connect with a hospital equipped to treat foreign patients, and my injury was handled without a hitch. After returning to the hotel, I made sure to go back to the front desk to express my gratitude. The staff member was visibly happy and excited that their assistance had made such a positive difference for me. Witnessing their genuine joy deeply touched me. My heartfelt thanks once again to the front desk staff.

Convenient location, with the airport bus stop right at the hotel's doorstep. It's also within a 15-minute walk to both the ferry terminal and JR station. Although the hotel is a bit older, it's very clean, and the non-smoking room truly had no smoke smell. The staff are all very enthusiastic. The rooms are quite spacious for Japan. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily, and breakfast was plentiful. On the first floor, the lobby offers complimentary teabags, drip coffee, and toiletries for guests to take.

Our stay was incredibly satisfying! Firstly, the hotel's location is superb. It's right opposite Takamatsu Central Park, and the airport shuttle bus has a stop there, so it's just a short walk across the road to the hotel. When heading back to the airport, the shuttle stop is on the other side of the road, with the timetable clearly posted, allowing you to choose your departure time based on your flight. A single ticket costs 900 yen. The hotel is also just 1.1 km from Ritsurin Garden and 1.2 km from Takamatsu Port. My husband and I enjoy walking, so we walked to both places, which only took about 10 minutes (if you prefer public transport, the bus stop is the same as the airport shuttle stop, which is very convenient). Kawaramachi is also only about 500 meters from the hotel, with plenty of restaurants, drugstores, and convenience stores, making it very accessible. Secondly, the hotel's breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious. It offered Udon noodles, tempura, salmon, mackerel, natto, and more. We were staying for four consecutive nights and were worried about getting tired of the hotel breakfast, so we initially booked without it. However, after trying it on the first day, we were absolutely blown away and immediately added breakfast for the remaining three days. It turned out we didn't get tired of it at all; it was just too good! The Udon noodles, in particular, were wonderfully chewy, and the broth was delicious. I always finished both the noodles and the soup. Finally, the hotel offers excellent added value. There's a hot spring on the top floor (11th floor). After a day of sightseeing, a soak in the hot spring was perfect for unwinding and relieving fatigue – absolutely wonderful! There's really no need to book a room with a private bath. After your soak, you can enjoy a free popsicle, with several flavors to choose from. Additionally, the hotel offers free lactic acid drinks from 5 PM to 10 PM daily, also on the 11th floor. And from 9:30 PM to 11 PM, there's free ramen in the breakfast restaurant on the first floor.

The room is specious for keeping 2 medium sized suitcases. The location is convenient with a Lawson and a supermarket downstairs. Staff are friendly. The only imperfect thing is the public bath is so small which could allow 4-5 guests to use.

The hotel was overall good. The staff's service was quite satisfactory, and although the room was quite small, it was neatly organized. If I had to find a fault, it would be that the bed was a bit too soft.. They provide soba as a late-night snack, so you can eat it as much as you want. There is a hot spring on the top floor, which is small in size but well-equipped. There is a sauna, cold water, hot water, and outdoor water, so it was really nice to use. You can use this as much as you want. After using it, you can have an ice cream bar or Yakult, and you will feel really good. There is a separate lounge opposite the entrance to the hot spring, so you can read comics because it is not too uncomfortable. However, there is a smoking room next to it, so you cannot use it. The breakfast was also neat and good to eat. It was delicious because they fried the tempura right in the morning, and I could eat udon with high rice rice, which was nice. However, I thought they filled the table to the brim and secretly filled it up a lot, but as expected, the employees were muttering and several people were looking at me, so if you're going to come here, please fill up moderately..ㅎㅎㅎ There's also dessert, but I didn't take a picture.. Next time I go to Takamatsu, I'll come here again..

The hotel is located across from Marugame Station, visible from the exit. Check-in is very convenient, with self-service check-in. From 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, they offer free udon noodles on the first floor, limited to one bowl per person. The udon is delicious, though it's somen, which I find even better. It's also very close to the main restaurant of Ichiraku-kutsuke-dori, about a five-minute walk away. The restaurant is quite busy; we went there around 6:00 PM and waited in line for about 20 minutes. We finished around 7:00 PM, and by 8:00 PM, the line was already more than ten meters long. We stayed on the 8th floor, which has a small balcony overlooking the port. We checked in around 6:00 PM and were able to catch a glimpse of the sunset, with the Seto Inland Sea Bridge looming.

GGuest UserI highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a quiet hot spring experience away from crowds. It is located a bit remotely from the city and surrounded by nature, which I absolutely love! Driving here is quite accessible. Since I planned to stay for more than one day, they provided a free pickup from the Kotohira JR Station, which is also very convenient. All the staff members are friendly and helpful. This low-density hotel has around 26 rooms, so it sells out very quickly, especially during peak season. There is a small gift shop, but I found everything I needed there. The room met my expectations, offering enough space with an outdoor deck and a private hot spring tub. I could hop into the hot spring tub anytime. If in the summer, I would be sitting on the outdoor deck to take in the views of the woods and nature, listening to the birds sing. The lotion provided is of very good quality; I use it every time I finish in the hot spring, as it smooths my skin. I should check if the gift shop sells it. The minibar is well-stocked with coffee and tea, and a 2-liter bottle of water was provided, along with a filtered water tap in the washroom. The public hot spring is spacious, allowing for plenty of privacy. One thing I wasn't sure about was that they provided us with a twin bed room. Since I was there with my husband, we expected a double bed room. We didn’t check with them about it because we decided to use the futon bed instead, which was surprisingly comfortable. I ended up sleeping even deeper than on a regular bed.  We were also confused about the futon bed setup requiring an extra charge, guess it was considered an extra bed. However, they arranged it for us without charging extra, which we really appreciated!  The dining experience was fantastic as well. There are different sessions in the restaurant, and they assign different tables for each meal, making it feel like dining in various restaurants. The service was very professional, with the staff explaining each dish to us. Even though one server covered two tables, I felt like they were serving us privately and gave us enough personal time. The restaurant closes after breakfast and before dinner, which gives you a great opportunity to explore the area during lunchtime. There are also delicious udon restaurants nearby. Just a heads up, though—I didn’t notice any room service available, so if you want snacks in your room, it’s a good idea to prepare your own. I am looking forward to staying in their other branches!

MMinqiuThe hotel is located above the Shikoku Bank building in Marugamemachi, with the front desk on the eighth floor. Minamishinmachi is right across the street. The area is bustling and transportation is convenient. There's a taxi stand downstairs, and it costs about 800-something yen to take a taxi to the JR station. There are public bus stops within a 5-minute walk, making it very easy to get to Ritsurin Garden and the train station/port. The hotel offers a variety of room types. I booked a twin room which was 28 square meters, spacious enough to lay out 3 or 4 suitcases. It's great value for money. The hotel service is excellent. When I was leaving for my next destination, the Kotohira Onsen hotel, I asked the front desk to help me contact them for pick-up. The two ladies at the front desk were incredibly patient and kept confirming the details. I'd give their service a perfect score.
