GGuest UserThe location is a bit out of the way, but it wasn't a problem since we were driving. Although it's an older-style inn, it was clean and tidy. There were also quite a few locals staying there. They offered snack sharing in the afternoon and evening. The most pleasant surprise was the incredibly rich breakfast. I would definitely choose this inn again next time.

WWanderlustfoodieGreat location, just 1min walk away from Toyama Station on level 5 of the Maroot building . It’s a perfect base to move around the Tateyama region. The room is on the small side but adequate and well furnished. For tourists who need the iron & ironing board, there are 2 sets per floor that you can use. This is a lifesaver. I’ve had to deal with the trousers presser only at certain hotels, much to my dismay. This was a nice change.

ZZhishangshenyouI stayed in Toyama for two nights to visit Tateyama Kurobe. The hotel is very close to Toyama Station and Toyama Chiho Railway (which I took to Tateyama the next day). From Toyama Station, turn right and walk to the main road, then cross the street, and you're there.
Right across from the hotel is a large shopping mall and Toyama Bay Shokudo, where we had a delicious seafood rice bowl.
The hotel service was decent. You can pick up toiletries in the lobby, and each floor has a water dispenser. The room also came with a capsule coffee machine, and the room was clean and well-maintained.
Upon arrival, you can ask the front desk for a city tram ticket (pictured in Figure 2). Each ticket is valid for two uses. We used it to take the tram to and from the Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art. You can walk to the Canal Park & Fugan Unga Kansui Park.

GGuest UserThe location is super convenient, right across from the station square. I arrived a little after one and the front desk kindly checked me in, which was a nice touch. My room had a view of the snowy mountains, the City Hall Observation Deck, the Glass Museum, and the green roof of Toyama Castle. If you stay multiple nights and opt out of full cleaning (only trash emptied and towels changed), you get a free drink voucher redeemable at the vending machine on the first floor. Foreign guests can also get a free tram ticket at the front desk, valid for two rides. Breakfast was decent, and you can even take coffee to go.

GGuest UserI had a truly memorable stay at this hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were incredibly attentive and kind throughout my visit. The overall atmosphere gave off a wonderfully authentic Japanese vibe, which made the experience even more special. One of the highlights was the delicious traditional Japanese breakfast — beautifully prepared and full of flavor. What impressed me most was how the hotel made me feel so comfortable and welcome, almost like I was staying at a relative’s home in Japan. It’s a place I would wholeheartedly recommend, and I would love to return again in the future.

AArm KantaweeBefore trip, I think this hotel is located close to Toyama station but I walked from Toyama station to the hotel around 20 minutes (However, this was my own fault for not reading the hotel’s location information carefully).
For this hotel, the facilities is very well and various such as public bath, electric body massage machine, vending machine.
For the public bath, if you use it during the daytime, you’ll probably get a beautiful view of the Japan Alps surrounding the city. Unfortunately, I used it at night, when it was too dark to see the view.

GGuest UserThe hotel room is newly renovated and very bright, making for a comfortable stay. The TV is a new smart TV, so you can watch YouTube. The lobby even offers welcome drinks, which is a thoughtful touch.
The hotel's location is convenient; it's only about a 5-10 minute ride on the light rail from Toyama Station, and the trains run frequently, so you don't have to worry about long waits. There's also a Family Mart and a 7-Eleven nearby, perfect for grabbing late-night snacks.
The only minor drawback is that the sound insulation of the room door isn't great. If guests speak loudly in the corridor late at night or early in the morning, you can hear it quite clearly.

GGuest UserDue to a booking error made by the agent, my check-in experience was terrible. I spent the entire night communicating with Ctrip (the booking platform), and while it was eventually resolved, I was still disappointed that I didn't get the room I wanted. The hotel is right next to Toyama Castle, and you might get lucky and see the Tateyama Mountain Range from the side. There's a convenience store and a tram station across the street, which is generally good. However, the room itself was very basic, and the service wasn't particularly warm. Overall, the experience was just average. A small surprise was the mochi pounding and sake offering on New Year's Day morning.

The hotel is just short walk from the bus stop. Room was huge, well equiped with amenities. They also provide the skin care as well. The hotel dinner was really good. It was the japanese course with free flow drink. (Sake, Fruit liquir, beer, soft drink). There are a lot of activities inc. Walking on Midagahara wetlands, stargage (japanese only). The hotel is just next to Midagahara wetland which you can enjoy the view of seacloud in the evening and the stunning view of glassland and the mountain in the morning. 10 of 10.

GGuest UserEvery time I visit Toyama, I choose this hotel for its convenience, surrounding area, and brand reputation. The rooms are a bit small, but the breakfast is excellent, and its location right in front of the station makes getting around incredibly easy, especially when using the Shinkansen. You can also see the Tateyama Mountain Range, a symbol of Toyama, not far from the hotel entrance. I highly recommend this hotel.
