Operated by Chinese owners, this hotel is super close to the airport, just about a fifteen-minute drive. While the exterior is pretty unremarkable, the rooms were a delightful surprise! They were large and spacious, with really new facilities—definitely looks like it's been recently renovated. Compared to other hotels I stayed at later in the trip, this place was an absolute heaven. Breakfast was a bit on the simpler side; you have to order à la carte at the restaurant on the first floor. They offer rice noodles and regular noodles, and the taste was decent enough. I'll definitely book here again next time I'm in Phnom Penh.
This hotel is essentially on par with a seaside guesthouse in China. The only reason I stayed here was its proximity to the factory. The so-called 'king room' was just two 1.2m single beds pushed together, making for an uneven sleeping surface. Add to that a hard bed, thin sheets, and worst of all, the air conditioner blowing directly onto the bed, and you can imagine the terrible stay I had. The bathroom was small, but the hot water was instant and the water pressure was great, though it seemed unavailable before 6 AM. Breakfast was set – you could order one dish, either noodles, rice, or a sandwich, along with a fried egg and orange juice; no extra orders allowed. Dinner could be eaten at the hotel restaurant. The Chinese food was decent, but quite expensive, which isn't surprising given that Cambodia's prices are among the highest in Southeast Asia.
In summary, for the Route 41 area, this hotel is considered decent. You can't expect too much; obviously, hotels in the city center would be better.
This place is quite far from the central area of Phnom Penh, but the hotel has arranged a pick-up. The business car is sufficiently air-conditioned. The driver is a Cambodian driver who is very kind, but does not speak Chinese. The room was made of high-timbered houses, and the service staff was really good. Both Chinese, English, and Cambodian can say that the hotel is built in a resort area, and there are many Chinese employees in it, so don't worry about language issues. This place is a particularly leisurely place, not suitable for the fast pace of catching sights. Special attention is needed to take a taxi to the sights of Phnom Penh downtown. There are also chartered cars, but it is more expensive and more crowded.
