The owner was very kind and friendly! My friends and I arrived an hour early than the check in time and as soon as he saw us, he checked us in. The breakfast was korean style breakfast with rice cakes and black sesame porridge (and free!). And when we were leaving he helped us get a cab to fit our lots and lots of luggage.
The hotel is very nice, clean and have good service. I had a suite which was great, except that no TV in living room section and TV only in bedroom. The breakfast buffet was likely very great for Koreans, but not very international oriented. Bread section pure and no cheese or ham and limited jam. Fruit section was extremely poor and selection of juice limited.
The hotel was a fairly standard version of this hotel chain but the room had such a strange odor. Originally had to change rooms because it smelt like sewer. The next room was a bit better but could still smell the strange odor. Not sure what it was. Very off putting. Parking was also very difficult. Had to park in a lot that was over two blocks away. Had to walk in the rain to get back to the hotel.
I wish I had taken photos! The facilities were spotlessly clean, and everything was excellent. Even with our late check-in, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. While the hallways and entrance had more of an apartment building feel, the room itself was pristine, neatly organized, and a comfortable, fully-equipped space perfect for relaxation. The garment steamer (like an LG Styler) was a fantastic bonus, especially useful for quickly freshening up clothes when laundry wasn't an option.
It's just the floor, but the key is that there is no floor heating, it's cold! First time experience, not good. Breakfast is not bad, fresh fruits, many samples, good dining environment. Stayed in this hotel many times, the front desk service is very enthusiastic.
Excellent and super convenient! This is a highly recommended hotel. Its unique character, location, service, and ambiance are all first-rate. The fact that it's right outside the Hanok Village is incredibly convenient. I particularly recommend booking a room with a Hanok Village view.
If you are traveling as a couple, you can use it with satisfaction.
It has most of the amenities and the room is clean.
The breakfast menu is not that diverse, so I recommend not eating it.
Other than that, I think it is a perfect hotel!
I used the hotel for business at Hyuksindo Temple. Personally, I find many business hotels in Jeonju disappointing, but the ones in Wanju seem much better.
This place is fantastic! It's clean, quiet, and very affordable. I've been visiting this area weekly lately for some research. Even though this accommodation is a bit out of the way, I really appreciate its cleanliness and the cozy bedding.
My parents made a reservation for the stay, and they said the facilities and view were all good!
However, the front desk staff was surprised and asked where I got it because it was too expensive. They said it was 30,000 won more expensive than the regular price written at the hotel front desk... Trip.com sometimes has more expensive prices, so I think you should check carefully.

Great
GGuest UserNice, big and comfortable room. The best is toilet cubicle, shower cubicle and the two washing basins are separated, so three people can use the big toilet area at the same time :) The hotel is within walking distance to the Hanok village which is great.

GGuest UserThe place had a cozy, homey vibe that made me feel right at ease. From the moment we walked in, the owner greeted us warmly with his charming eye smile and was always eager to help. The room was great, featuring a TV, a mini fridge and a spacious bathroom stocked with essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste and toothbrushes.
We visited during winter and the room was wonderfully warm, creating the perfect retreat from the cold. We even had the opportunity to prepare our own breakfast - eggs, bread, butter, jam, coffee and milk. To top it off, I did my laundry there, which was incredibly convenient.
The owner went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He’s genuinely one of the kindest Koreans I’ve met during my trip. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I absolutely fell in love with this place. I would definitely return!
Sir, this is me, your guest from the Philippines. Thank you so much for accommodating us! Take care always!
HHUIThe environment is good and clean. I live in a 4-bed room. The most important thing is to have a bed. When I come to Korea, I miss the bed every day. The phone will come to apply for the card for you (⊙o⊙)
GGuest UserThe hotel was about 200 metres from the Express Bus terminal and very easy to find. We enjoyed the included breakfast. There were two options and we chose the French Toast and were very happy with it. It was cooked freshly and the presentation was nicely done. The room was good with a good sized bathroom. The only negative comments were that the lighting was a bit dim for reading at night, and we had to use the kettle on the floor as the cord wasn't quite long enough for it to be on the bench. But nice to have a hot drink (tea bags and coffee sachets provided). We would happily stay here again. We chose this hotel due to the non-smoking rooms and the included breakfast.
GGuest UserFor the price, this hotel is perfect and I honestly don’t know how they are even making a profit. The rooms were clean and spacious enough to fit 3 people. I liked that there was a sink and a sofa near the windows. Its going to be a drive several blocks down to the hanok village but taxi fares are very cheap compared to the US. Expect maybe like 6000 krw to the hanok village from the hotel. The restaurant (현대옥) across the hotel serves jeonju bean sprouts soup and that is really really good. All in all, this is no ritz carlton but its 1/20 price and it really is much much much better than the low cost hotels u would expect in the US.
GGuest UserI stayed for one night from August 6, 2025, for a business trip to Jeonju for a lecture, and my overall satisfaction with the ibis Styles Ambassador Jeonju City Center was a perfect ★★★★★. First of all, the location is overwhelming. Immediately after checking in, I could leisurely stroll to the Hanok Village with just my laptop, in just 10 minutes. Key attractions like Jeondong Cathedral and Gyeonggijeon Stadium were within walking distance, ensuring no wasted travel time. The hotel is surrounded by 24-hour convenience stores and local restaurants, making it a great place for a quick meal after a late-night workday. The cleanliness also exceeded chain hotel standards. From the lobby to the hallways and guest rooms, everything was spotless, and the bedding had a soft, fluffy scent. The bathroom sink and shower booth had a particularly pristine, white silicone finish, demonstrating the systematic daily disinfection and inspection. The hotel exceeded expectations in every way: its location, which optimizes the Jeonju city center's business traffic flow, its meticulous cleanliness, the attention to detail from staff who prioritize daily life, and the stable operation of essential facilities. This is yet another reason I'll rebook this hotel without hesitation on my next business trip to Jeonju.
AAlyThe place is relatively clean although there are mosquitoes inside the room so you gotta spray the mosquito spray so that it wont bite you when u sleep xD Location wise is pretty good in a sense that it is near attractions, church, and the hanok village. Its just that at night its pretty dark so if youre a girl alone, best not to stay up until late. The reception was really nice and friendly, he made me feel welcomed! Amenities are also not bad, all the necessities are covered and the soap smells vv nice xD (pls dont mind the bed in the second picture… haha thats when i left but it was rly neat when i went.)
AakominThe atmosphere of the inn is good. The president was also kind enough to lend me another pair of futons and call a taxi to go to the station on the way home.
We were able to spend room very warmly in ondol. My back hurts because the futon is thin.
There was no plastic bottled water in the room, such as a welcome drink, so I went to the convenience store to buy it at night.
Amenities are toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash? No small bars of soap, towels, hair dryer, toilet paper, TV.
Breakfast was included, so in the morning, you can choose toast, 2 types of jam, 2 types of fruit, milk, and orange juice by yourself. In addition, when I asked for coffee, I put it in.
I went there to experience Hanok, so the room was small and the floor was hard, so I was a little tired, but it was a good memory.
