Taveekun Vang Vieng Hotel: Highly Recommended! We booked a large twin room, which was incredibly spacious with a simple, modern decor. The cleanliness was impeccable. The balcony view was absolutely stunning, offering a direct panorama of Vang Vieng's rolling karst mountains. Waking up to such beautiful mountain scenery every day was a treat. The bathroom featured a smart toilet, and the room was equipped with a kettle, bottled water, and coffee/tea. The hotel also has an outdoor pool, perfect for relaxing. The location is excellent. If you're visiting Vang Vieng and want a room with a direct mountain view, this hotel is a perfect choice.

The hotel is a perfect location, very easy access to the town and also a gorgeous unobstructed view of the mountains. It pretty quiet and peaceful. The bathroom could use a little/ maintenance tidying up to feel more clean. But other than that everything was lovely! The room was really spacious and comfortable for two of us and it was totally worth paying a bit more for the balcony with a view. We watched the sunset from there one day and could see some hot air balloons and paramotorists. The breakfast is pretty good, quite Asian/ Chinese. They have some yogurt, fruits, baked goods and chicken sausage and bacon but most of the other food is Chinese. Good variety though! They had gluten free cereal on request but sadly it wasn’t very good. The hotel helped us to book tours and their communication was really good. The WiFi is also great!

After reading some reviews from other travelers, I still chose this hotel. I stayed in the older building because the price was suitable, but everything still felt new. The balcony view of the river is beautiful, breakfast has many fresh and delicious options, and the hotel is very clean. The staff are hardworking and attentive. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve experienced in Laos.

The hotel is not quite new, that is obvious. The mirror on the room was missing, broken out by force. There is no WiFi except in the reception area. The photo of the building shows balconies at all rooms on the photo side. But my room had none. There was no daily room service. For the rest it was okay. Well maintained, clean, quiet inside and mountain view from the windows. Small fridge, AC, full working bathroom. (Long waiting for warm water) The breakfast buffet was great. The swimming pool in front of the entrance was good. The seating area around poor. I really missed a bigger and nicer area, perhaps garden like around. Especially for I had no balcony. I would go there again for sleeping and having breakfast. But for holidays I want to have a decent place outdoors as well.

The environment is absolutely perfect, and the service is excellent. The airport shuttle service is reasonably priced. Those are the pros. Now for the cons: The facilities and equipment are a bit old; they should be properly maintained or updated. The faucets don't work well, and neither does the showerhead. All other services are great. Also, there are a lot of mosquitoes, but that's expected since it's located in a field. Still worth another visit.

If you’re looking for a mix of scenic beauty and warm hospitality, this hotel in Vang Vieng is an excellent choice.

The stay was okay, but unfortunately the staff were not very friendly and didn’t even greet guests, which made me feel unwelcome. Also, the prices for renting a scooter were almost twice as high as at other places nearby. Overall, it was fine, but I expected a warmer atmosphere and fairer prices.

Wonderful hotel! Cozy, clean bungalows. We had a bungalow with a magnificent mountain view from both the bathroom and the balcony. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub, which we used several times and really enjoyed! The room had all the amenities and was quiet. The hotel is generally located a bit off the main road, so it's quiet on the property. The only minor issue was the limited food options at breakfast. There aren't many guests at the hotel, so it seems they only set out a small buffet and don't replenish it once the food runs out. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would gladly come back again.

Absolutely amazing stay - it's clear that the owners take pride in their hotel. The pool and pool area is incredibly clean. The breakfast is fantastic, fresh fruit (varied and lots of it) contained in a fridge (so fresh, cold and no bugs like a lot of other hotels). Option of cooked breakfast every morning (eggs your way). The gentleman running the hotel is so helpful, he booked several tours for us, getting us a good price and being patient when we changed our plans several times. The communal areas are incredibly clean, the staff are always working hard doing something for the hotel. The location is excellent - walkable to everything in Vang Vieng, near some nice restaurants (Green, Vela, beats and bites). Everything in the room worked perfectly. The shower had great pressure and great temperature. Bed was extremely comfortable and the TV was loaded with apps to watch TV (we used Plex as it had English language shows and films). The bathroom has soap, shampoo and fresh towels daily. The rooftop is amazing, we actually used this instead of going to rooftop bars. The hotel sells beer in the fridge at reception. Highly highly recommend this hotel. Genuinely we could not find any fault with this hotel at all, we over heard many guests booking to stay extra nights expressing how happy they were with the stay at the hotel and the breakfast.

The place located a bit far from Vangvieng city center but it's a perfect place for staycation. We went there on week day so there's not a lot of people stay in the hotel which is very good for our group. Hotel have a wonderful view of mountain and river for us to just sit and stair at it, but if you prefer to swim can go ahead! Staff are very friendly and ready to help, 100% satisfy with all service. We contacted hotel staff before our visit so they turn on the AC ready before our arrival. We also met two lovely siberian husky there too!
