GGuest UserI am so very very conflicted about this review.
First of all, that definitely is my fault that I chose this location. I did not have a car and did not think that a walk to the beach is so uncomfortable, an hour at least and 30 min at least by highway decending from the mountain. Elevation is significant. Had to take a car many times, thank god guest house had one. 10 euro each travel, to the beach and back. The nearest small shop is still 30 minutes from the guest house.
The real plus of this place is the view from balcony and from the pool, although the pool is tiny and is used by several other guests, including children. But they are all tiny here, it seems.
Now, for other unpleasant things.
Initially, it seems like room is comfortable, big, new furniture, everything, kitchen, bed is very well. But it all turned out to be not so comfortable at all. The TV did not work at all. Manager got down to fixing it only the next day and still I could not watch cable only Youtube and Netflix (my accounts). So, TV is busted. Bathroom is strange, faucets are very unusual, very hard to turn and so it is very hard to mix water properly. Moreover, you cannot stand in the bath to have a shower, because the hose is too short, you can only lie in it, that is weird and uncomfortable. Kitchen does not have electronic tea pot, but does have coffee machine for some reason. It is said that you can drink the water from kithcen sink, but even after I boiled it, it had weird residue in the glass.
As for the cleaning, it was bad! Because I got sick, during those days I asked not to disturb me, but after I got better it is like they decided not to clean the room at all. It is only by request it seems and even if you request via whatsapp to manager, they foget to vacuum, refill minibar, replace coffee shots, shower gel, soap or even put the toilet paper!!! I was so tired to request them to re do/deliver what they did not, that by the end of the stay I completely gave up! No bathrobe or disposable slippers at all as well.
Also, it was initially said to me by the administrator that I can order breakfast, use minibar, pay for transfer etc. at the checkout, which is standard. But then I was asked not 3, but 4 times to do it at the moment. And always problems with the change. Did they think that I was going to run away with the money?? That is not an adequate attitude, in my opinion.
Breakfast is very/very mid, not worth it. Costs 15 euros. I got sick and also ordered homemade beef broth to the room - that is the single least delicious soup I have ever tasted. So the food is bad.
Overall, 5 for the view, 2 for everything else, the mean is 3 at best. Perhaps for Montenegro that service and comfortability is fine/5*, I am Russian and this is overall 2/3 at best. Never going back!

AAnonymous UserVery good hotel. Beautiful diverse breakfasts. Near the hotel shop and bus stop to buddy for 3.50 euros (30 minutes). Buggy - 1 minute to beach. 5 minutes walk. The beach with the right fen shui at the end of the lagoon is quiet, quiet, relaxing music. Very cool staff on the beach. There are boats from the middle of the beach, there are no boats here. In the pool on the street, the water is cold. But there is an indoor pool with open windows - it has warm water. Plus there is a bath/sauna/hamma with 16.00. The whole beach is one of the best hotels on the coast.

EevilyachI travelled to Montenegro with a friend, and we decided to stay around Budva.
We chose the 2 bedroom suites, and they were large and comfortable, there was a small fridge in the kitchen area (that was full of unpaid snacks and alcohol). The bathroom was clean and functional.
Breakfasts were pretty good, there was everything you could want, including coffee machine, and there were some healthy options. One thing that was really bad are juices, they were reeeeally watered down, barely drinkable.
We travelled off-season, and there was a lot of construction going on around, and it was really loud. You can also hear everything your neighbours are doing, and doors are really really loud, it almost feels like someone just broke into your room.
Unfortunately, we had two very unpleasant things that happened:
1. There is only one road that connects the hotel to the main road. One day construction started on that road, and we could not exit hotel parking on a car, because it was blocked by them. We could not drive our car that day, essentially. Just by coincidence, we didn't need to go far, and decided to just walk to Budva. But imagine if we needed to go to the airport that day.
2. The laundry was broken, and they could not get spare parts in time. There were no laundries around, and pretty much every other hotel was closed. And I could not get to Budva, because the car was blocked! In the end, I had to hand-wash my clothes (in a 4 star hotel that was kinda weird thing to do).
The staff on the first floor was great, and tried to help as much as possible, and tried to find solutions. More questions are to the management of this hotel - how that happened that staff didn't know about construction (I doubt that they randomly decided to fix one random road without notifying anybody), and how one broken piece of washing machine made the laundry unusable - is there just one washing machine for the whole hotel, and how are the towels being washed if laundry is not working.

OO**yExcellent hotel, fantastic location! The breakfast is good. We had dinner at the hotel a few times, and the 25 euro per person dinner was really nice. The only thing I didn't like was that we were only given our room exactly at 3 PM, as stated. I understand we arrived at 10 AM, but they could have at least tried to get us in earlier, especially since some other guests did get their rooms sooner. Another thing is the villa rooms (I booked a standard room but got a villa). They're not very comfortable... they're quite a distance away, requiring a lot of stairs to climb, and the room itself is two stories which makes no sense as the living area isn't functional, the sofa doesn't fold out, and for a couple, there's absolutely no point in having this villa; a simple room would have been fine. But I guess families with children don't want to stay there, nor do older people, because of all the stairs. Otherwise, the hotel is superb. I think if we return next time, we'll definitely stay at this hotel.

GGuest UserWe had a fantastic 3-night stay at Ruzmarin Spa Hotel during May. The hotel is just a couple of years old and is in a beautiful setting in the hills just outside Budva. Absolutely spectacular mountain and valley views wherever you look, a really pretty spot.
We had a double room with balcony which felt quite spacious and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable, fantastic shower and the views from the balcony were superb. We dined in the on-site restaurant several times, dinner twice and breakfast three times. The food selection is great for a small restaurant, quality was good and the service was excellent with a small, intimate feel of a family run restaurant.
The staff were lovely, unbelievably helpful and friendly, most were excellent English speakers too which helped us a lot. Special mention to Nađa (sp?) who handled our check-in (we arrived quite early) and check-out, arranged transport, provided great recommendations and did so with awesome hospitality, in a friendly, kind and mature manner beyond her years.
The location is a little out of Budva, we didn't have a car, so it was about 10 minutes in a cab (about 8-10 EUR) or a 40-45 minute walk into the old town. The walk in is down hill, both routes have large sections without a footpath, so you're sharing the road with the cars a bit. The coastal route has a good path for much of the journey, but the road is close, busy and loud. We didn't use the pool, though it was open and looked well maintained. Plenty of chairs and sun-loungers which were popular. There is also a spa and sauna which my partner used and enjoyed.
Overall, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet and loved the feel and welcoming environment of a beautiful boutique hotel, we would definitely recommend.

EEKATERINASPLoved the hotel and the hostess! We sincerely wish you prosperity and hope you maintain the high standards you've achieved. Upon arriving, we felt like truly welcome guests. We even got breakfast on the day of arrival (first time I've ever experienced that!). The room was comfortable, had everything we needed, and offered beautiful views from the balcony. For breakfast, there was plenty to choose from, and everything was delicious. There are shops and cafes near the hotel, and it's just a 15-minute walk to the Old Town. We were very satisfied and are already planning to return.

GGuest UserWe had an executive room on the first floor with city view, sea view would have been towards the ferris wheel and the hotel isn’t tall so in my opinion not worth it.
The pool was great. Always a sunbed free. The staff serving drinks and food there were absolutely brilliant. Also had drinks in the bar with great service.
The breakfast is very good, the comments about poor service at breakfast are fair. If you go later there’s no fresh juice or even sparkling water and takes some chasing to get staff to get. Don’t let this put you off though. It really is a great breakfast spread and the hotel was absolutely immaculate and the bed was so comfy. I’d definitely stay again.
