Scandic Royal Stavanger

Because the flight was postponed twice, the red-eye flight from the previous night was delayed until one o'clock in the afternoon to Oslo, driving in the mornings of various corners, or in the middle of the night, it was darker and lacquered into the hotel, although the summer of Norway was dark. late. The breakfast is great, it is worth the extra bed fee I paid. Hotel location should be OK, did not care, but note that there are two Radisson Blu, very close, don't go wrong. There are not many parking spaces in the underground parking garage. It can only be parked in the parking lot. The city center charges are expensive. It is a good time...
Sola Strand Hotel

We chose this hotel primarily for its convenient location near the ferry terminal and airport, with ample free parking. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly, offering us a late check-out, which we appreciated. Our room was very quiet, with a lovely ocean view, far from the restaurant and conference halls. However, the room itself was quite dated, different from the photos shown on the website, and the bathroom was cramped, with little legroom when using the toilet. The room was also very hot in late September. No fan in the room. We had to leave the window open overnight. The breakfast buffet had a good selection with decent variety. Despite the excellent location, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again due to the room’s discomfort.

A fantastic 5am breakfast buffet was provided, so often I have an early onward flight and leave a hotel hungry, not this time

I was in Stavanger for 4 weeks on 2 separate trips during October to December 2021. I was accommodated at this hotel by my company so I did not know what to expect. Fortunately, the hotel exceeded all of my expectations. Firstly it is within easy walking distance of the town centre. Everything is on your doorstep, including a supermarket, which is next door. The rooms are functional, bright and clean. It is not a 5* Hotel and it is not marketed in that bracket. You get everything you need and more but for a very good price. The best bit is the breakfast, it is vast and has so much variety. It is always kept well stocked and caters for every taste. The hot food is plentiful as is the choice of cold meats and cereals. The staff are some of the most helpful that I have ever encountered. We dealt with Linda who was on the night shift, she could not have been more helpful and the team provided us with an extra early breakfast on the weekends, even though they did not have to. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough and i will most definitely be returning. Thank You Linda and the rest of the team.
Clarion Hotel Energy

The location is not in the city center, so the price is relatively cheap. The DNB Arena bus station is more than 100 meters away from the hotel door. It takes about 20 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel via FB40. Several buses go to the city center, which is only a 10-minute drive. There is even a large screen with real-time information about the bus station at the door in the hotel lobby. There is a very large Coop supermarket 10 minutes' walk from the hotel, with a full range of products and reasonable prices. There is a Domino's Pizza opposite the mall where the supermarket is located. The room is relatively compact in size, has no air conditioning, and has a refrigerator. Bottled mineral water in the refrigerator is charged, but a kettle is provided. I traveled in Europe for half a month and stayed in nearly 10 hotels with a price of about 1,000 yuan. The breakfast at this hotel is the most abundant. There are many types, the taste is good, and the business hours are very long. Generally speaking, it is worth recommending.
The Villa

Staid here for a couple of nights while visiting Stavanger. It is located on a good location, on the edge of the city centre with a nearby big public parking that is paid. However, we had plenty of issues with the check-in process and the whole service that is automated and quite frankly bad. First the app for check in never managed to load the key on the phone meaning that we could not get in the hotel since the ring bell did not make anyone show up so we were lucky someone was entering one minute after we came. We had two reservations and the app told us it was the same room but the keys stopped working the next day and no one was picking up the phone on any of their numbers although it says 24 hour service but I guess Sunday was not included. Luckily we managed to find a cleaning lady who managed to resolve it but it still took us at least 90 minutes to figure it out. She was extremely helpful but otherwise bad service all the way. The room itself was fine, clean and big enough with a bathroom that was a bit too small and difficult to use for me. We did get breakfast as well, which was a new service and that worked but quality was so-so. They did answer to our emails, just a bit too late so its not a place I would recommend to anyone but I can not say its very bad, just barely average with potential issues along the way.
Radisson Blu Atlantic Hotel Stavanger

Radisson Blu Atlantic sits strategically on Stavanger’s main avenue, facing the man-made lake, and is a short walk away from the city center. It’s clearly designed for the business professional, with an expansive lobby and sitting areas where executives can plug in and e-mail to their heart’s delight. There’s a water and cookie station for those checking in. The room is standard European size (read, small) with a small T&B to match. They have the usual safe, nespresso machine, hot water pot, ref, large wall TV, and hair dryer. There are enough US TV shows. What was missing was a writing desk. Instead, they provide a small round table beside one of the bedside tables that had been converted into a cushioned seat. The upholstery of the table-seat matches the headboard so that’s a cool design. But I would guess that most guests would still have preferred a rectangular writing table with a regular chair rather than a small round table with a bench. Besides, the electric outlets on one side of the bench gets in the way. The bed itself is very comfortable, with decent pillows that my wife appreciated. The accent lighting is quite adequate, the thermostat is easy to control, and there are enough power outlets to satisfy even the most demanding with the added Radisson bonus of USB ports near the plugs. We appreciated the balcony, that had a great view of the small lake in front with its swans, seagulls and ducks and water fountain. The bathroom is quite small but is fully functional. The bath toiletries – shampoo, conditioner, body wash - are in the new style of wall mounted dispenser bottles, in this case, marked ‘Radisson’ and not some designer label. However, there was no body lotion and hand wash dispensers that are commonly provided in other hotels. I would also suggest a design modification since the bottles would often catch the rim holders when you press down. They have a wonderful spread for breakfast, plus an added a la carte menu, which we appreciated. Coffee containers are already at the tables which is convenient. There were a good number of waitresses in the morning who cleaned the tables, took the a la carte orders, refilled the coffee, etc. For dinner, Firelake is the hotel restaurant. Food is quite decent and pricing is fair. However, we noted the lack of staffing for the number of tables. We do have a bone to pick with the housekeeping service. When we checked in, the staff asked for a credit card to cover expenses. My travel agent, Firebird Tours, had already pre-paid but the staff kept claiming that it wasn’t. So I had to give a credit card then e-mailed my travel agent. Turned out Radisson was having a problem with their systems so they couldn’t immediately locate the pre-payment record. This seemed unacceptable for an experienced chain like Radisson’s. The other service beef was with housekeeping. We left the room at 9 am to do a fjord cruise. We returned at 4 pm to discover the housekeeper’s master keycard inserted in our
St Svithun Hotel

Thon Partner Stavanger Forum Hotel

The hotel lies in the great location of the city. With its height, you can enjoy beautiful scenery while having meals. The breakfast is absolutely the highlight. There, you will not only have everything you want to eat in the morning, but also the typical norwegian salmon meal. A tip: registered member can get great discount for booking rooms. It would make the value of the hotel the best one in Stavanger! Recommendable!

Excelent location. Friendly staff and Wonderful pillows! Sleept like a Princess. Did not try the breakfest but ordered breakfast straight to my room through Wolt. The only flaw is that sound travels quit alot and i could hear children screaming in the hallway.
