AAnonymous UserIs this supposed to be the best hotel in Longyearbyen? The room was just okay, and breakfast was pretty standard, but I guess that's acceptable considering we're in the Arctic. The good thing is that it's super convenient for getting around; the beach is only a 15-minute walk away, and the views from inside the hotel are already stunning! A huge bonus: on our second night, we saw the Northern Lights for free right next door (a 3-minute walk from the hotel)!

From the moment I booked through check-in to my departure, the front desk kept sending detailed emails covering transportation, check-in procedures, and general information about the town. Special thanks to khristin at the front desk — she were incredibly patient and friendly throughout my stay.
The hostel is spotlessly clean, and the shared kitchen is spacious and super practical to use. I will absolutely book here again and highly recommend this place to all my friends.

SSophiashuOur room was quite spacious. Although it featured shared bathrooms, our floor conveniently had four, and they were all impeccably maintained by guests. A laundry room and a kitchen are also available on-site. The property itself is spread across multiple buildings. Breakfast was excellent! While it's a bit of a distance from the city center, the journey there offers some lovely scenic views.

I stayed for 3 nights. The rooms were small, but the common areas were very spacious and comfortable. Even if you didn't go out sightseeing, just sitting on the sofa was enjoyable. The restaurant and breakfast were also very good, with comfortable decor. We happened to be there on a snowy day, so we could enjoy breakfast while watching the snow fall. Although the bathrooms were shared, there were many stalls, so there was basically no wait. They were clean and spacious. The location was okay, a bit far from the city center, about a 15-minute walk. You need to cross a river behind the guesthouse, which offers a different view. I would recommend this place more than a hotel!

YYANBreakfast was rich! Choose a lot of these! This hotel is the only 4-star hotel in Svalbard! There are saunas and outdoor baths! It's warm inside the hotel! Also close to the local supermarket! Environmental facilities are really good, love his sauna! It's so comfortable!
