Great location, fantastic staff Verdal Hotell is located in the vicinity of Verdal train station. One minute walk - just cross the road and you are there. Easy access by train from Trondheim Værnes airport. Trains are running every hour. Next door is Verdal Thon shopping center so easy access to shops and grocery stores. The staff was excellent! So serviceminded, friendly and attentive. They followed up our questions and provided great pieces of advice. We really felt welcome and that they really cared for us as guests! The hotel is clean and nice. Please be advised that this is a country side hotel with less fancy amenities. We didn’t book for fanciness, but searching for great value. The bed was comfortable, nice and fresh linen, it was possible to open the windows and get fresh air. I The breakfast has was nice with a solid selection of fresh items. Some of these are very traditional Norwegian dishes. The dining hall was not crowded so we could enjoy our food. I would like to particularly underline that the hotel showed great flexibility in order to provide breakfast a little earlier than regular times because several guests participated in a local event, and had some time constraints related to transport. This adjustment was highly appreciated and provided us as guests to get better time and being able to have breakfast before early departure. I will commend the staff for doing their utmost for the guests. We can highly recommend this hotel.

The location is in the center of Trondheim and next to the riverfront. You can get on Flybus from Værnes airport and stop near the hotel . Or if you come from the central station , you can walk to the hotel in 10 mins. The decoration of the hotel is very modern in Nordic style and Environmentally Friendly. The room is convenient and has good facilities. I like the various lines of breakfast and enjoy the Asian zone as well. Four days at the hotel is the best base and make me feel relaxed after hunting Aurora in Tromso . Highly recommended.

Neat hotel, I was upgraded to a double room because they did not have single rooms. I really enjoyed the breakfast; you can find many things to try. I could not get breakfast on my last day because I was leaving early, and when I asked the reception, they said I should have informed them earlier than 9 pm that night.

Great hotel centrally located in the shopping/ restaurant district . Beautifully furnished, fine room with everything on and on. Extended breakfast and excellent service. Very worth the effort!

A very nice place for a night stay. Checking in/out was easy. And it is located just next to the central station, but we didn’t really get much noise from the trains. Room was clean and comfortable, and it doesn’t come with toothpaste. Highly recommended nevertheless.

Very good location as you only get there by one stop by airport bus from Oslo Airport. Also, because there is McDonald's in front of the hotel, you can replace the expensive food prices in Northern Europe with McDonald's. If you have a rental car, the gas station is right in front of you, so it has the best amenities among nearby hotels. Hotel breakfast is also essential considering the expensive price. The most satisfying of the hotel facilities was the size of a large toilet despite being a single room. It is recommended to book in advance because there are not many hotel rooms.

Hotellet var trevligt och prisvärt. Fin frukost, rent och fräscht. Dock fanns inte Air con på rummet så det var helt ohållbart värmemässigt med en liten fläkt. Fönstren gick bara att öppna lite så det gick inte att vädra. Men det var väldigt varmt ute så det är förklaring men så mycket nattsömn blev det inte. Rekommenderas gärna när det inte är så varmt.  Hemtrevlig Chesterfield stämning med fina fåtöljer och inredning.

The hotel was nice. It is a rather big hotel mostly catering for local people ( Norwegian and Swedish). The breakfast was great, the pool was also very nice. Drawbacks: no hot water kettle in the rooms. The toilet seat was very low, so difficult for my mum to get up from the seat on her own.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, the airport bus has a pick-up and drop-off station directly next to it, the atmosphere at the nearby port is also very good, there is a shopping center next to it is very convenient. Walking to important attractions in the city, the distance is moderate and not too tired. The hotel service is very good, the counter is warm and friendly, and the breakfast is delicious.

Very close to airport. Very clean and very comfortable. The burger also very yummy. Traveller must stay if flight happened to be early as city difficult to get uber or taxi in the early morning.
