We had the pleasure to eat at Belmont Cafe. It was an exceptional experience and the service was second to none. From the greeting upon entry to the quality of food and the attentiveness we received, the entire time was incredible. We had the four cheese pizza, fresh lumpia, Laing and other items. The food was beyond delicious and can’t wait to taste more dishes in the future. We want to give special recognition for Chef Ri, she checked on us to make sure we enjoyed the food, a rare thing and much appreciated. Special recognition as well to our server Michael, he went above and beyond to make our visit memorable and was one of the most attentive I have seen, he provided the highest quality of service and others in the future will have a hard time matching his skills. Thank you for all you did to make our dinner one we will not forget.

The hotel was okay for the price. Prices are meant for members so it is best to check membership if you will stay a while. They dont really tell you to apply before booking. Good place if you want to go for a staycation. Reservations department could do be more accommodating given the level of aspiration the hotel strives for. meh

We booked the Cebu Suite, but when we arrived the hotel, they said my room is not available. The hotel said because the agency had late payment and the room is no longer available. Trip.com tried to help me but it took me an hour to settle the problem. Actually I am not satisfied because I contacted Trip.com before my trip to confirm the room again but they said the room is reserved for me. If they checked more carefully would make my trip more smooth. Luckily they helped me to settle the problem. During the stay, the room is a bit old, I want more blankets and towels for my kids but they didn’t provide. The waterpark is good, the breakfast is okay, the staff are nice. My kids enjoy the trip.

My wife, son, and I went there for my birthday. We wanted to try a new resort in Cebu. Wow were we overwhelmed and surprised. The Sheraton staff treated us with kindness and as if we had been there multiple times. Every single staff member greeted us. From the housekeeping to the guards at both entrances. They even took my son by the hand and kept him entertained while we were checking in. They gave him popcorn. I was also shocked at the one restaurant when they sang happy birthday and gave me a wonderfully delightful cake. It was so smooth and silky. The food was also perfect and tender. The sauce for the fries was very creamy and tasty. For the first time in the almost twelve years in Cebu, even having been to numerous Cebuano resorts including Shangri-la everything was 100 percent perfect. The wifi was strong and no lag, the food was perfect, parking perfect, staff were perfect, beach and pool were clean and perfect. We even go to feed the fish as well which the guard at the water activities area gave us. I mean it was all around perfect for the first time here in Cebu. At Breakfast they even gave me a thank you cake for staying there. I couldn't believe it. It really felt homey and that warm feeling. For the money we spent it was 100 percent worth it. Oh by the way the atmosphere was perfect too. No loud people on cellphones everywhere talking or taking selfies and the like.

I booked this hotel with my 11 year daughter to have my birthday staycation. The hotel was quite new and designs are modern. Check in was very smooth with very kind polite front desk officers. I was allowed to have an early check in as the hotel wasnt fully booked at that time and was kind to offer me a room upgrade. I politely declined the upgrade as the bed configuration wasnt suited for me and my daughter. We wanted a twin bed and the room upgrade was for one queen sized bed only. The size of our room was relatively small for a twin bed room. Its roughly 21sqm in size and it kinda tight when all your luggages and things have been all around the room. The Buffet breakfast was on the average side, Hot dishes werent kept warm and choices was kinda limited. But for the average kind of breakfast spread, I wouldnt complain more. The hotel is very near (I mean walking distance) to 7/11 convenience Stores, good quality restaurants nearby , Mcdonalds, Mactan Alfresco etc... I love the ambiance of the community ... its like a little city within a small community. Not that I really didnt like that much, but it was just something that I didnt appreciated much... its the hotel's pool that looks like blurry and wasnt kept clean by the time we went to visit the area. The prices at the bar was kinda pricey and wouldnt offer any happy hour during the day. The Surroundings of the pool area werent kept clean and aesthetically pleasing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Savoy.

My family enjoyed our stay at Crimson. Amenities are superb and world-class. Rooms and entire vicinity are clean. The villa in which we stayed was the best! We had a great experience from check in to departure. Everything was fast, smooth snd organized. Perfect service indeed. Crimson staff is the best! Everyone we met was friendly and accomodating, ready to serve, answered all queries and met our needs. Crimson will have a special place in our hearts! Thank you Crimson for everything! The hotel is not fully renovated yet, and the price should increase after the renovation is completed. This hotel is advertised on every flight you take. The swimming pool is a special feature. There are swimming pools everywhere, and there are still swimming pools under construction in the future. There is no room type defect such as lack of bathroom. There is a bathtub and a shower. The room is large and has a balcony. The restaurant is currently shared with Old Hannah's next door. The beach is maintained every day. There are many Koreans. I haven’t seen any children’s facilities yet, and I don’t know if they will be built later.

Their dedication to ensuring guests' comfort and satisfaction was commendable and definitely added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. Speaking of amenities, Solea Mactan exceeded our expectations. The variety and quality of facilities available were impressive. The multiple big pools were a highlight, offering ample space for relaxation and fun. Whether we wanted to unwind by the poolside or take a refreshing swim, there was always a perfect spot to do so. Moreover, the value for money was notable. Check in and check out process both commendable, very quick. Room review: Bed and pillow were so comfortable to lay in. You’ll have a good night sleep in this hotel. It smelt fresh too. Cold AC and working television. Shower was also good, working shower heater. The room was spacious, paid $23 for a night, not bad. I’d stay here again if needed in the future. Cleanliness: Some areas needed improvement. Wardrobe was dull and dirty. Dusty night stand. Also noticed the comforter has tiny ink stains. And the towels, they smelt nice like laundry/ good detergent smell but they need to do better with washing off the stains. Breakfast: Had the bacon, rice and hard boiled egg. It was ok. I commend the staff for serving it quickly. Staff: Very courteous and attentive. Requested for a room with window, it was granted but no view 😂 All I see was a dark wall which made the room gloomy. Elevator sometimes get crowded, will take a while to be used better use the staircase if you are in a hurry. WIFI was bad, intermittent signal. And the entire day I didn’t have a good phone reception. So mobile data is useless.

Plantation Bay is again my favorite hotel on Mactan. I was there August of 22, January of this year and just finished a stay in May. Here are some things to consider about Plantation Bay: - It’s the only large Filipino owned resort on Mactan and they must treat there staff incredibly well because everyone I spoke with has worked there 10+years - unlike other resorts they have a no tipping policy - The large salt water lagoons are beautiful and large enough that they never feel crowded - Plantation Bay offers a variety of food options for every taste - They have a wide variety of on site activities and offer multiple excursions outside the resort for reasonable prices To be fair there were a couple of things that could improve but those are minor - The beach towels need to be replaced. The bathroom towels are great but the beach towels were old and thin - During busy periods when you call bell service or guest relations the phone just rings with no answer. Overall though, this is the best place to stay on Mactan. Great service, unique activities, great staff, and some of the best swimming pools anywhere Here are some tips: - if you are not traveling with kids, the waters edge rooms are amazing. You can step from your deck directly into the lagoon - Consider the Route 66 Diner for breakfast. Good food and never crowded -A romantic dinner at Palermo’s is a great option on site - I paid the extra $50 to have a car drop us off and pick us up at our room and it was definitely worth it. You get checked in/out at your room saving time Highly recommend this great hotel

I stayed here twice in April & May 2023 and was consistently impressed with the staff & the property. The staff was very friendly, helpful, accommodating and very courteous. The deluxe room had a great view, was large, clean, modern and very comfortable all around. The buffet breakfast was excellent with good selection of Western and Pilipino dishes. And the table service was excellent—shout out to Ariel and staff for a very attentive service! I was also pleasantly surprised at the quality & selection of drink’s & pastries at the Cafe also punctuated by excellent service. The property has 3 great pools, a small private beach , picnic area & fitness center. For me the only service missing is the food room service but it’s a minor item for what I needed. The location is an about 30 min from Mactan airport in a secluded gated area. Getting here was through local neighborhood and inconvenient from other restaurants & services so you’re pretty much will be staying on the property unless you want to go out for a long drive. I paid 650 pesos for a Grab ride around noon time from IT park to Reef. I have been to many 5 star Western style resort hotels in US, Europe & Asia and Reef compares well especially if you can book a discounted room for less than $150 USD. Overall, I highly recommend the Reef Island Resort hotel and will return again when I’m in the area. Definitely a good value for the money and excellent staff.

Always go in this place yearly with my husband we enjoy the place is so private quiete so peaceful. We will never be tired coming and now our vacation on this place!!!

All on expected level except one but pretty critical for me issue - air conditioning system is covered in mold. It have had severe implications for me - I’m allergic to mold and have got severe allergies just few hours after arrival while I couldn’t figure out what caused it. Room felt very moist and smelly, so I was hoping turning on air conditioning will fix a problem in a couple of hours, but it get significantly worst. I’ve got another room assigned after I have identified reason (photo attached); alternative room was having less issues (not obviously smelly), but air conditioning system was covered in mold as well. Also pool was on maintenance, what was not announced while I was booking… traveling with kid, I’d have booked another hotel if I had this info.

This visit to Marco Polo truly saddened me. If you read some of my past reviews of this hotel I noted it was my favorite place to stay anywhere in the world. This was my first post Covid visit and I was shocked and disappointed. - Basic maintenance has not been completed. For example, there is a glass elevator that goes to Blu their rooftop restaurant. This elevator was out of order and when I asked why I was told “Covid.” Covid travel restrictions were lifted a long time ago and that’s no excuse. In a second example, we returned to our room after a long night and the key did not work. It turned out the battery in the electronic device on the door needed to be replaced and the front desk understand the issue immediately, so this must happen often. Good hotels replace these batteries on a schedule so the guests never suffer from dead batteries. - Service, which used to be outstanding?@, is now unacceptable. First, the English language skills of most employees we encountered were sub par. Second, the person who checked me in was being trained, so the check in process was very slow. Third, service at the poolside bar during lunch was slow, the waitstaff inattentive and they failed to include my banana shake on the bill so as we are leaving the grab us and give us a second bill to pay. Fourth, service at breakfast was terrible. I had to ask for black tea three times before I got it, seeking some out 3 times as no one ever came to check on us. When we arrived around 9 AM there was no bacon (later replenished with bacon that looked so bad I did not even try it, fatty and not crisp), there was 1 banana, which was never replenished, there were no juice glasses (later replenished). The food quality was adequate but not nearly up to pre-Covid standards. Overall the service was lacking. - I was also disappointed that the lobby lounge, which used to have live music every night now has piano music only and only 1 night per week I am told. - There was a cart of dirty linens in our hallway both days Some of these things are not expensive or hard to fix. It doesn’t cost a lot to have live music in the lounge nightly as there are lots of singers groups looking for opportunities. It doesn’t cost a lot to make sure you change door card batteries regularly Others are basic requirements if doing business. For example you don’t leave a glass elevator to one of the most expensive restaurants in Cebu out of order for month/years. I am purchasing a condo unit in Marco Polo residences and expected to regularly visit the hotel for meals/drinks, but if this is the quality and service we can expect, then I will not be utilizing their services.

One of the best resort I stayed in Mactan. Their service are excellent and they have many pools that you can swim. The room is clean & complete and the best part is that they have balcony. The buffet is okay and I just hope that they can add more. Nonetheless, I will definitely come back again.

We were pleasantly surprised by what an amazing hotel this has been. The staff have been so lovely and accommodating. From the room staff, front desk staff, and wait staff they were beyond lovely. We even took time to eat at their restaurant in house and our server Aden took great care of us. I was also SO happy to see our turn down service came with dried mangoes. 10/10 would book again.

Henann Resort lives up to its name. When renting a Villa, you are VIP so you truly get to feel superior thanks to the kind and accommodating staff. You get access to amenities that only Suites/Villas can. We rented one night only but will definitely book longer next time.

I love the room view and resort amenities. I would also recommend the staff for their hospitality and help, most especially Mr. Eunard Kim Paulo Gavas. Thank you for the worthwhile stay. Will surely come back soon. 😊

Excellent location. Amazing sunsets. The service is excellent. We enjoyed the free cocktails on Wednesdays and Fridays. And we enjoyed the free popsicles and juice when you lounge at the pool. The staff will go out of your way to take care of you. Very large rooms

The location is just great; it is near the airport and the beach. Perfect accessibility to restaurants roadside and beachside. Amenities were great, too. The staff are more than helpful and courteous. Our trip to the main island was also worth it thanks to the package options they have.

The place is highly recommended for families whose primary aim is to r and r.It is quiet and laid back compares to other areas in panglao.The room is spacious,clean and homey. The food is decandent.On top of that,there’s a wide array of food choices.The service is commendable.Will surely come back again.

Having our wedding at Bellevue Resort was definitely the best choice! Our wedding was delayed by Covid for 3 years and there were a few staff changes and Sheila Baldo has picked up where the last events manager left off without a hitch. She was always available, polite and open to ideas. We looked around at other venue options and the beach front privacy and luxe experience Bellevue offers are incomparable. What we love most about the event was the food which was above and beyond the expectation for a buffet - it certainly tasted like fine dining, the attention to details and the execution of everything we have agreed on. My family and I have had such a great time spending our wedding and holiday/reunion in Bellevue. The daily breakfast buffet options were always exciting and cater to locals and foreigners alike. The koi pond is always a hit - you can do fish feeding, and I never tire walking past them. During our 5 day stay, they always have a quiet event at their beach front which says a lot about them being a very good choice as an events space for your important occasions. Some nights they had a live band to serenade diners at the restaurant. The staff - they are unbelievable! They were quick, accommodating, friendly and always at your service. What needs improvement on, however, was their spa and their massage therapists. We spoke to Drew, the manager, and plans to remedy this were actually on the way! I guess next time, we will have to try this out!

We stayed at this beautiful resort last year to celebrate my nephew's 3rd birthday for 2 nights and 3 days. As far as I remember, we availed the discounted rates during Travel Expo in SMX. All of our requests were granted especially the simple birthday set up when we arrived. The room , beddings and CR are great, except for the location of the assigned room/villa everything is perfect. I informed that we have 2 senior citizens prior to booking, we were expecting rooms nearer to the restaturant. But, we really enjoyed our stay especially the buffet breakfast and ”calmly” atmosphere at the resort, the staff are polite and acommodating too. I recommend this place to my firends and give a chance, we will definitely stay again at this resort.

All Hotel Staff are very friendly, helpful and most of all have good hearts! You’ll see how sincere their Staff is in doing their work (front desk, kitchen servers, room cleaners, pool cleaners, gardeners and security). Their guests are pampered! They take care on their guests like their own Family. They make sure their guests are safe not only in the hotel but when going out for tour as well. They give advise how to be safe during tours. Definitely not my favourite hotel - in fact I left after the first night of my 3 night booking & forfeited my payment for the remaining nights. BED... If you like sleeping on a FIRM bed similar to a timber floor, then the bed will suit you fine. If you prefer a more luxurious softer bed then book a different hotel. Even when Housekeeping put 2 comforters between the bed & the sheet, it was still HARD. BATHROOM Again very different to usual Filipino standards. On the bed were 2 face washers & 2 towels (about the size of typical western hand towels), plus in the bathroom was 2 ”Bath Towels” (narrow long flimsy open weave fabric) for exfoliating your body not drying it. Getting dry after the shower was definitely a challenge. BREAKFAST For a westerner, there was no cereal to start the day. The buffet containers for both the fried eggs & the back were empty, so I asked if they could be replenished. The hostess immediately went to the kitchen & promptly returned with a plate of fried eggs & another plate of bacon. I thought YIPPEE, I will have fresh hot breakfast, but I was sadly disappointed as both the eggs & the bacon were cold - obviously left on a bench in the kitens after being cooked sometime earlier. If you want butter to go with your sweet toast, you have to ask for it. Vegemite on sweet toast is a strange taste. Cappucino coffee is NOT included in breakfast. POWER OUTLETS If you have travelled to the Philippines you will know that their power outlets are two flat vertical pins. NOT HERE, they are the Korean recessed circular pins which made charging my devices a challenge. Thankfully reception had Korean/Filipino adapters. POOL It was nice!

The hotel itself is very good, like a big manor, a small courtyard, or a log cabin, the children like it, lying in bed listening to the birds screaming. The cliff restaurant is beautiful, but the food is average. Horse riding is available in the hotel and there is a small zoo that is perfect for children. Breakfast is terrible, nothing to eat, we almost have omelettes and pancakes every day, especially if we don't know what to eat for our children. This needs to be improved, and everything else is fine. Overall, it is worth living!
