It is a great experience staying in a ship for a night. The staffs are all very friendly and you could have your luggage stored for free which most of the hotels required you to pay for the locker. You could feel the wave when you stay inside which is exciting. You could also have a great nice city view from the bar above. I would come back definitely đ
The location of the hotel was very convenient. A lot of shops, restaurants and convenience stores within the vicinity. The cityâs main train station was very close by.
The rooms were more spacious than expected. The property is well maintained, considering that itâs one of the oldest buildings in the city.
Overall, a nice place to stay at when visiting Stockholm.
This hotel was an absolute pleasant surprise! Though the room wasn't huge, it was fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bathroom was particularly well-appointed with thoughtful details: the showerhead's button design was the most sensible and convenient I've encountered in any hotel, and the heated towel rail ensured soft, dry towels.
Getting here is incredibly convenient: from the airport, take bus 579 or 583 to MÀrsta, then transfer to PendeltÄg 40 or 41 and alight at Ulriksdal station. The hotel is just a one-minute walk to the right after exiting the station.
Bus 509 stops directly across the street from the hotel. A few stops will take you to Ulriksdal Palace â I highly recommend visiting if you have time, and don't miss the excellent desserts at its cafe! Alternatively, taking bus 509 in the opposite direction for about 10-15 minutes will bring you to Solna Centrum, which boasts a large supermarket and numerous shops.
A crucial tip: book well in advance! I secured a significant discount on the room rate by booking three months ahead. Also, be aware that in Swedish hotels, you typically need to proactively inform the front desk if you wish to have your room cleaned.

After exiting T5, follow the signs for SkyCity Hotel on the departure level and you'll reach the hotel. For the price, it's really great value for money. The front desk staff are very welcoming. There's no kettle in the room, but you can get free hot or cold water from the front desk. There's also a laundry room.
It was a very nice stay on a yacht. The location is very close to Stockholmâs Old Town, making it convenient to get to all the main attractions. The view outside the yacht is also beautiful. Although the room is not very large, it is clean and tidy. The breakfast selection is somewhat limited, but still acceptable.
Spacious Room & Easy Access
The room at Hilton Stockholm was big and comfortable, with a thoughtful layout and a nicely designed cupboard. The bed was cosy and perfect for a good nightâs sleep.
The hotel is in a great location, close to both the train station and bus stops, making it easy to get around the city. A good choice for travellers looking for both comfort and accessibility.
The location is a bit out of the way, but luckily, the surrounding amenities and public transport are quite comprehensive. The room itself was quite spacious and clean, but it lacked essential items for travelers like a fridge and an electric kettle. For a place supposedly rated three stars, that's a big miss â I couldn't even buy groceries from the nearby supermarket that needed refrigeration. On the upside, the breakfast was indeed good for the price, though I always wonder why most hotels in Scandinavia only offer such weak, tasteless instant coffee.
Room is in size good enough for short stay. Cutlery and essentials are provided in the small open kitchen. There are 2 ceiling lamp in the room, but the one near the table is not working. but they have a floor lamp which make it still possible to have good lighting for the table. I personally do not like the pillows, they are small like cushions in size approx. 45x45cm. I will give higher score to this apartment if they use real pillows. But in general, it's clean and location good enough for my trip.
The location of the hotel is very good. Close to the city center and a 3 minute walk to the biggest food market. The breakfast was below-average. The options are quite limited and some of the things are not renewed regularly. Another problem was the beds. It was extremely uncomfortable and my back and neck still hurts. Otherwise it was okay, the room was cleaned every day and also it was clean overall. We did not care but the street noise was coming a lot especially during weekend. Staff was helpful on the counter, but there is one person on the kitchen stuff with extremely annoying attitude. She tried to rush us to finish breakfast in a rude tone.
This stay was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always quick to respond. The hotel facilities were complete and well-maintained, everything was clean and tidy, and the overall environment was very comfortable. It offers excellent value for money. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

Very Good
HHaoxianghaoxiangnvxiaThis hotel was very satisfying. Our windowless room was on the basement level, so we paid an extra 80 euros for three nights to upgrade to the seventh floor upon arrival. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the Central Station and 5 minutes from T-Centrum. The hotel has a clear outdoor theme with a strong design aesthetic, and some rooms feature unique designs. The hotel lobby boasts a spacious bar and restaurant area, which is very lively and almost completely full in the evenings. The room didn't have complimentary water or disposable toiletries, but there was a kettle.
GGuest UserThe location is incredibly convenient â you'll find it just 50 meters around the corner from the train station. While the entrance is quite unassuming, the breakfast was absolutely superb with a wide variety of options. Its central location also makes it easy to get to anywhere else.
GGuest UserStayed here several times before and I arrived quiet early this time, luckily I could already checkin early.
Great hotel, but wooden floor in the hotel rooms are a bit worn. Other then that the hotel is clean and staff friendly.

GGuest UserGreat location! There's a cozy bar with a nice atmosphere on the ground floor. We booked a quad room with a private bathroom. Just remember to bring your own towels and slippers as they aren't provided in the room. Stockholm is a fantastic city, and if you're visiting, Generator is definitely the top choice.
GGuest UserI had a fantastic stay at Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan right in the heart of Stockholm. The location was unbeatable â just steps away from great shopping streets, excellent restaurants, and easy access to public transport, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. Many attractions like Nybroviken, StrandvĂ€gen promenade, and the metro are within walking distance, so it was incredibly convenient for sightseeing.
The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, from checkâin to offering local tips. They made me feel truly welcome, and service throughout my stay was consistently excellent.
The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with modern design details that gave it a chic, Scandinavian vibe. While European city hotels sometimes have smaller rooms, everything felt wellâorganized and cozy, and the comfortable bed ensured a great nightâs sleep.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet â it offered a variety of tasty choices and was a great way to start each morning before heading out to explore.
The hotel also has a lively bar and restaurant downstairs, perfect for grabbing a drink or dinner without going far. The overall vibe of the property was modern and fun, making the stay feel more like a memorable experience than just another hotel visit.
Overall, I would highly recommend Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan to anyone visiting Stockholm â especially if you want a stylish, centrally located hotel with great service and a welcoming atmosphere.

SShanghai based coupleI stayed here with my mom who is from Sweden and is 79 years old but was travelling from the UK where she now lives. We were visiting family, both in and around Stockholm. This was an important trip for her, and me and we really needed it to go well.
Given such high expectations and unusual requirements because of my momâs her age, we were really surprised by how well this hotel delivered and absolutely delighted with our stay.
The location was flawless and allowed her to see and do things nearby unassisted, while also allowing us to use the train from the main train station 5 minutes away to go to a nearby town, as well as within walking distance to meet her old school friends in a quintessentially Swedish coffee shop in the centre of town.
Breakfast was very authentically Swedish, but it was a bit odd that they didnât have limpa bread. Otherwise an excellent selection of Scandinavian food that was delicious and filling. The view to the Stadshuset (Stoholmâs City Hall) where the majority of the Nobel prizes are given out from in the restaurant was really charming.
The rooms were spacious and finished to a really high standard.
The service and the staff were fantastic, including Marcus who met us at the door and helped with out bags, as well as Hannah and George. We cannot thank the whole team enough for thoughtful and awesome work to make such an important trip so memorable, easy and enjoyable.
GGuest UserThe breakfast is not really a breakfastâŠ.is a small coffee, a juice, a yogurt and a horrible sandwichâŠfor 10 euros I would have prefer something elseâŠthe rooms are very small, no windowsâŠit was very cold and the only give me a very small coverâŠby the way the bed is very smallâŠI think they are much better options for the moneyâŠalso one towelâŠbut I am furious cause the breakfast is a scam
