The car was very clean! The rental shop is conveniently located right across from the train station. Remember to ask the shopkeeper to check if there are any parking fees! However, the nearest convenience store is quite far away; you can't pay at the convenience store inside the train station.

The car was relatively new, with just over 30,000 kilometers on it. I picked it up from the self-service kiosks at Taoyuan Airport after filling up the tank, and headed straight south to Taichung! I returned it to Taipei Main Station three days later for a convenient one-way rental. The return process was easy, and the price was reasonable at NT$3.1 per kilometer. The only downside was that the return location at Taipei Main Station was hard to find and quite small!
