This exhibition presents an extensive, comprehensive, and long-term showcase of ancient Egyptian artifacts. Egypt has directly loaned Hong Kong precious local collections and recently unearthed archaeological discoveries. All exhibited artifacts are owned and directly loaned by the Egyptian Antiquities Committee. The committee expressed great honor in sharing these ancient Egyptian treasures with audiences in Hong Kong and worldwide, highlighting its mission to preserve, protect, and promote Egypt's cultural heritage through international cooperation.

The Hong Kong Chinese Cultural Festival is Hong Kong's flagship arts and culture brand project, using innovative concepts and contemporary language to inherit and promote Chinese culture, allowing citizens and tourists of different ages and backgrounds to experience the traditional charm and contemporary vitality of Chinese culture. The festival has received enthusiastic responses from all sectors of society, with over 900,000 participants in the first two editions. This year's festival, themed "Legends," features a selection of performances and activities related to Chinese legends and stories. The opening performance of the festival, the dance drama "The White Snake," is directed by internationally renowned ballet dancer Tan Yuanyuan and performed by top mainland dancers. The work blends Chinese and Western dance styles, connecting ancient and modern philosophical thought, reshaping this well-known tale of immortals and mortals from a fresh perspective. Other highlights include several performances at the China Opera Festival 2026 themed around loyalty and righteousness; the traditional Chinese suspense stage play "The Code of the Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival," adapted from a popular novel; the acrobatic drama "Tang Ancient Hundred Plays," recreating the prosperity of Tang Dynasty culture; a guqin (a seven-stringed zither) concert by Yao Gongbai, one of the first representative inheritors of the national intangible cultural heritage project of guqin art; local masterpieces recognized by the National Arts Fund; and stage performances presented by various arts organizations.
