This year, China Hong Kong Paralympic Committee will collaborate with the HKSAR government to co-host the One-year Countdown Event of the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities (NGD) and the 9th National Special Olympic Games (NSOG) (Hong Kong) cum Hong Kong Paralympic Day 2024, to create anticipation for the coming 2025 exciting competitions in Hong Kong. Date: December 8, 2024 (Sunday) Time: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Venue: Hong Kong Sports Institute (25 Yuen Wo Road, Sha Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong) Entry Session: Session (1): 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Session (2): 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Session (3): 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Program includes: • Opening Ceremony • Opening Ceremony Demonstrations and trials of various Para sports (Boccia, Goalball, Sailing, Badminton, Wheelchair Dancing, Equestrian, Karate, Rowing, Table Tennis, Tenpin Bowling, Sitting Volleyball, Wheelchair Fencing, Tennis, Wheelchair Basketball and Darts) • Paralympic Games and Hong Kong Paralympic Movement Exhibition • Athlete sharing sessions Participants can redeem souvenirs after participating in designated activities.
