Luxembourg City Gardens (LUGA) plans to continue hosting three summer festivals in Luxembourg City on Sunday, August 31, September 7, and September 14, 2025. Each event offers unique activities in a green outdoor setting and is free to attend. Organizers describe the events as "a great opportunity to make the most of summer and come together for fun and friendly activities inspired by LUGA's core themes."
On Sunday, August 31, from 12 noon to 6 pm, the LUGA Lab festival will take place at the LUGA Lab in the Odendaal Park in Luxembourg-Pfaffental. Workshops will be held on Japanese botanical prints, plant-based prints, and handmade dried flowers. There will also be a reading corner, a puppet theater, and performances on the themes of Melusina and waste reduction.
On Sunday, September 7th, from 12 noon to 6 pm, the Science Centre Festival will take place at the LUGA Science Centre in the Petrus Park in the Grund district of Luxembourg. Events will include a plant seed exchange and workshops on topics such as biodiversity, bees, screen printing, Japanese botanical prints, and crochet. There will also be a reading corner, a puppet poetry performance, and performances focusing on water resources, sustainable fashion, and environmental protection.
On Sunday, September 14th, from 12 noon to 6 pm, the Culture Centre Festival will take place at the LUGA Cultural Centre in the Gennex-Wies Municipal Park in Luxembourg City. Activities will include a circus school and workshops in bookmaking, crochet, Japanese botanical prints, botanical printing, and woodworking. There will also be urban sound installations, musical lunch breaks, puppet shows, storytelling sessions, and interactive theater performances for children.
