Jeff Young is an immigration attorney. He will explain the legalities to anyone concerned about deportation and explain how we, as allies, can help.
Jeff Young has had a distinguished career in immigration spanning over thirty years, beginning in Dallas and transitioning through key locations such as Washington, Miami, and Vermont. Even after stepping away from direct involvement in immigration, he remains deeply engaged with the field, keeping abreast of current developments and literature.
For the past seven years, he has made St. Simons Island his home. His extensive experience includes serving as a federal employee union executive, where he represented employees across all Southern states, including Texas, Florida, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and upstate New York. His work in immigration has covered significant historical events, such as the Mariel boatlift and the Haitian boat people, along with various international assignments.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Jeff has actively participated in his community through roles in the Vermont legislature, City Council, and Regional Planning Commission, among other positions, showcasing his commitment to public service and civic engagement. His multifaceted background in immigration, union leadership, and community involvement reflects a lifelong dedication to serving both his profession and the communities he is part of.
