The Jeonju International Sori Music Festival (전주세계소리축제), founded in 2001, is a major traditional music festival in South Korea and has been promoting world music since 2011. In 2012, 2013, and 2014, the Jeonju Sori Music Festival was selected as one of the "Top 25 International Music Festivals in the World" by Songlines magazine, making it the only Asian music festival on the list.

The Jeonju Festival 2025, which kicked off with the 2025 Jeonju Book Festival, continues in October. This year's festival activities continue in October, beginning with the Jeonju International Hanji Industry Expo at the Korean Traditional Culture Center on October 2nd, followed by the Jeonju Makgeolli Festival at Jeonju Vision University Stadium on October 31st. The 2025 Jeonju International Hanji Industry Expo, themed "This is Hanji," will be held at the Korean Traditional Culture Center over three days from October 2nd to 4th. This year's Hanji Industry Expo will feature a variety of activities, including an international Hanji fashion show, Hanji-related exhibitions, Hanji craft demonstrations by invited Hanji artisans, and Hanji crafting experiences. The event aims to expand the use of Hanji in daily life and allow visitors to experience Hanji more closely. The Jeonju Arts Festival, held over three days from October 17th to 19th at the Babok Art Factory, brought together artists and citizens under the motto "Dance! Jeonju, Ring! Chaos!" This year's festival kicked off on the 17th with the Future Culture Festival, featuring performances by Jeonju artists blending tradition and the future. The following two days (the 18th and 19th) featured a vibrant street performance by 31 performance groups and the launch of a new public art project for residents to experience. A variety of side events, including an art auction, audience participation activities, and a food and art flea market, further enhanced the festival's appeal. Jeonju's signature food festival, the "2025 Jeonju Bibimbap Festival," took place at the Jeonju World Cup Stadium from October 24th to 26th. The second day of this year's festival featured a large-scale bibimbap performance to celebrate Jeonju's successful Olympic bid. In addition, more than 20 colorful activities will be held on site, including a retro bibimbap street, a bibimbap parade, a bibimbap friends pop-up store, and a challenge to the Mini Olympics.

The 2025 Jeonju Bibimbap Festival will be held at the Jeonju World Cup Stadium from October 24th to 26th. This year's festival, themed "Bibimbap, Connecting the World," will showcase 21 bibimbap menus, introducing Jeonju's rich flavors to attendees and tourists. It will also be a multi-sensory festival, integrating food, art, and cultural activities and experiences. The highlight of the Jeonju Bibimbap Festival is the "Grand Bibimbap Show," a performance themed around the city's bid for the Summer Olympics. Other exciting events include the "Retro Bibimbap Street," featuring participation from 21 local governments and Jeonju food companies, the "Bibimbap Parade," featuring bibimbap chefs and ingredients, and the "Challenge Mini Olympics," a mini-Olympics experience. In addition, this year's Jeonju Bibimbap Festival will feature special exhibition halls, including the "Bibimbap Friends Pop-up Shop," featuring characters inspired by Jeonju's bibimbap ingredients; the "Bibimbap Culture Space," where visitors can experience the charm of Jeonju's bibimbap with all five senses; the "UNESCO Creative City Promotion Zone," where visitors can learn about Jeonju, a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy; and the "World Bibimbap Zone," where visitors can sample bibimbap dishes from around the world.
