Emily's passion for soccer began in elementary school, where she could often be found playing on the North Hill Elementary field during recess. Throughout her school years, she excelled in basketball, soccer, and volleyball, but it was soccer and basketball that captured her heart. As a freshman at Stoney Creek High School, Emily made the varsity soccer team, followed by varsity basketball in her sophomore year. Together with her teammate Meghan, Emily led the soccer team to their first-ever state title on her 17th birthday, scoring the game-winning goal. She continued her studies in marketing at The Ross Business School at The University of Michigan, where she joined the Alpha Phi sorority and the university's women's club soccer team. Now, we come together to celebrate Emily's life and her love for soccer in the third annual EVS Soccer Tournament.
