Join the Trek Research Saturday Scenic Ride, an Intermediate Level cycling event that takes place every other Saturday. This thrilling ride will guide you through the beautiful Arboretum, Mesa Dr., Balcones, Scenic Dr., Lake Austin Blvd., Exposition, Bull Creek, Shoal Creek, to Steck and back to Mesa. The average pace is 13 mph, covering approximately 25 miles. While this is a social, no-drop ride, it is not recommended for beginners due to the elevation gain and mileage. The schedule for the event is as follows: - 8:45 AM: Meet to sign waivers and attend a safety briefing (please note that a waiver is mandatory for participation) - 9:00 AM: Wheels Down! - Helmets are mandatory for all participants. - Hydration is crucial, so make sure to bring a water bottle or Camelback.
