For their FIRST time, the legends of doom, the almighty PENTAGRAM, are playing the Charleston, West Virginia, area!
Pentagram is an American doom metal band from Alexandria, Virginia. They are noted as one of the pioneers of Heavy Metal, particularly of the aforementioned sub-genre Doom Metal. As such, they are considered one of the “big four of Doom Metal”.
Lead vocalist Bobby Liebling has been referred to as “very much the US version of Ozzy Osbourne”, with the singer now being a viral sensation due to the Ghoul Stare, opening up the ears and eyes of the general public to what all the Metal Heads already knew about, that Pentagram are one of the longest enduring, influential, Gods Of Doom!
They are joined on this tour by Today is the Day. Today Is the Day is known for their intense and genre-defying sound, emerging from the underground music scene in Nashville, Tennessee. Formed in the early 1990s, the group is led by Steve Austin (vocals, guitar), whose dynamic vision has driven the band's ever-evolving lineup. Today Is the Day crafts a unique blend of post-hardcore, noise rock, metal, and avant-garde, pushing the boundaries of conventional heavy music with their raw, visceral energy and complex arrangements.
Local support is provided by Fuzzfiend, Ghost in Me, and Executionist.
