Come and show your support for Ukraine at the highly anticipated Boston Annual Ukrainian Festival. Organized by Sky Philanthropy, Sky International Center, MAF, and the Center for the Study of Europe at Boston University, this festival celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Ukraine and its Independence Day. Taking place on Saturday, August 26th, from 2PM to 9PM, on the scenic grounds of BU Beach at 270 Bay State Rd, Boston, MA 02215, this event promises to be a memorable experience.
With over 3,000 attendees last year, the festival offers a wide range of performances, exhibitions, crafts, vendors, and events. Visitors will be treated to a variety of artistic performances including classical and folk music, traditional Ukrainian folk dances, and authentic cultural experiences. Art exhibitions and engaging activities for both adults and children will provide insights into Ukrainian history and traditions. And of course, the festival will feature delectable Ukrainian cuisine that will tantalize your taste buds.
In addition to showcasing Ukrainian culture, the Boston Annual Ukrainian Festival serves as a platform for fundraising efforts to support Ukraine's ongoing struggle for freedom and democracy. As the country faces challenges from Russian aggression, this event aims to raise awareness and provide opportunities to contribute to the cause.
To attend the festival, please wear elements of Ukrainian national dress or Ukraine's flag colors (blue and yellow). If you own Ukrainian national clothing, we encourage you to proudly wear it. Limited parking is available around Boston University, so we recommend taking the T - Green Line B train to BU Central Stop, which conveniently stops just outside the festival grounds.
