Mark Blacklock, a Lecturer in Modern and Contemporary Literature at Birkbeck College, University of London, will bring his expertise in cultural history, including his work The Emergence of the Fourth Dimension, to shed light on Ballard's literary legacy. Additionally, Blacklock's recently acclaimed novel Hinton, which was longlisted for the Walter Scott Prize for Historical Fiction in 2021, showcases his exceptional storytelling abilities.
