Ami Sayers, the Co-Principal and Head of Acting at All In Actors, invites trained or aspiring actors to join their Drop In Acting Classes. With a compassionate and supportive environment, these classes provide an opportunity to enhance your skills, meet new people, and explore new approaches and techniques. Held every Thursday evening at the Kennington Park Community Centre in London, these classes are designed to accommodate your schedule. You can attend on a drop-in basis or sign up for a six-week session. The cost per session is £25, with a discounted rate of £15 for All In Actors Alumni and £10 for the unemployed or those with low income. During the classes, you will engage in exercises and games that stimulate your curiosity, creativity, and instincts as an actor. Ami incorporates techniques from renowned acting experts such as Stanislavski, Uta Hagen, and Viola Spolin, focusing on play, listening, instincts, impulses, joy, passion, honesty, and courage. Both text-based and improvisational exercises will be explored. Ami, an actor, writer, director, and teacher with an MA in Actor Training and Coaching, brings a holistic and student-centered approach to her teaching. In addition to All In Actors, she is a regular teacher at prestigious institutions like RADA and LAMDA. Her extensive experience in theatre, including classical and contemporary works, adds depth to her instruction.
