Experience the ancient sounds of Aotearoa and join the Aotearoa Bone and Stone Carving Team to learn about Taonga Pūoro (treasures that bring sound to life). In this waananga (workshop) tauira (participants) will learn how to create and play a basic Kōauau (Māori Flute) from bamboo and also a Porotiti (spinning wind instrument) from native timber. This full-day workshop will break for a shared lunch. Please bring a plate of kai (food) to share. You will be working with tools and machinery and must wear covered or closed-toe shoes. Suitable for ages 16+, registration is essential, and numbers are limited. To register for this event, please register through Eventbrite or email info@cornwallpark.co.nz. You won&#39;t find the entrance on the ground level, take an escalator inside the hotel and go down to the basement. Although i find the admission fee is a bit high but a tall sky tower overlooking the city of Auckland is a must see... don&#39;t miss it.

Yes, it&#39;s very family friendly and especially great on a wet or rainy day at Auckland. Plan for at least a 2 if not 3hr visit. But do take note that parking is quite limited but you could park further down the coastal road if you&#39;re prepared walk a little.

The whole experience was great, and it&#39;s a great place to learn about New Zealand&#39;s history and culture. The museum is quite large and worth a good half-day visit. There are many interactive exhibits, especially suitable for taking children out. There are also Chinese services, which is recommended.

Although Mount Eden is not high, you can overlook the whole of Auckland from the top of the mountain, and the view is particularly wide. The remains of the crater are clearly visible, covered with green grass, a peaceful green. It is not difficult to walk all the way up. You can also see sheep grazing on the hillside. Their leisurely appearance makes people can&#39;t help but take a few more photos. The wind on the top of the mountain is very strong, but it is also very fresh, which makes people feel particularly bright. It is a good place that does not require tickets or planning, but can leave very deep memories.

Auckland Central Park is not like the common landscape parks in the city. It is more like a natural forest.
