Bringing my family to Harbin, staying at the Ocean Ritz was such a great choice! The hotel has a beautiful European retro style, and the lobby is grand yet inviting, perfect for photos. Our room was spacious and bright, with a floor-to-ceiling window offering city views. The bed firmness was just right, and they even offered a pillow menu – so thoughtful! The staff were all very polite, always greeting us with a smile. The concierge was super efficient with luggage and calling taxis. The location is absolutely excellent; we could walk to Central Street and St. Sophia Church, which was so convenient for resting at the hotel after exploring. The breakfast was fresh and delicious; my kids especially loved the desserts and fruit. Overall, a perfect experience – clean, comfortable, and great service. Highly recommend!

The service here is excellent, from booking to the front desk and restaurant staff, everything was impeccable. The Chinese restaurant waitress, Miss Xu, was especially warm and professional. This is much better than the Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, where I noticed foreign guests were prioritized with excessive deference – that wasn't the case here in Harbin. The Ritz-Carlton Harbin's service was truly attentive and responsive to every request, hats off to them! 👍
There were a few minor downsides. The smart toilet seat, if you sit on it for too long, the lid taps your back. 🤭 The first room they assigned me was quite far from the elevator, which I had requested since I'm a light sleeper. However, after the staff showed me to the room, I got lost trying to find the elevator again after turning a few corners, haha! So I went back to my room and called the front desk. They then upgraded me to a river-view room closer to the elevator. But as soon as I entered, there was a slight lingering smell of renovation near the entrance. For someone as sensitive to smells as I am, it was quite impactful, but I really didn't want to bother them again. Sure enough, I woke up with a headache in the middle of the night, quickly took some medicine, and felt better after an early morning walk.
Breakfast runs until 10:30 AM, but by 9:40 AM, the hot milk was already gone. A kind female manager went to the coffee machine to get me a cup, as it would take 7 minutes to provide more hot milk. My suggestion is that if breakfast is until 10:30 AM, they shouldn't stop replenishing items early just because there are fewer people. This will only lead to even fewer guests over time. I even bought 14 more breakfast vouchers, by the way. The quality of the breakfast ingredients is excellent, which is why I bought 10 breakfast vouchers.
The gym equipment is great, and the service there is also very enthusiastic. The lighting in the swimming pool area at night was a bit dim. Since it's a water environment, dim lighting can be dangerous and make it difficult to spot issues. My friend suddenly got leg cramps, luckily a coach came over and pulled her out. The downside is that there are two lifeguard observation chairs, but no lifeguards. There's a duty coach who occasionally comes in to check, and sometimes goes to the gym to teach. Even though the water depth is 1.35 meters, a swimming pool, by regulation, must have lifeguards on the chairs. Accidents can happen in water, so safety is paramount. Overall, my stay at the Ritz-Carlton Harbin was an excellent experience, and I'll definitely recommend it to any friends visiting.

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel truly deserves a shout-out, mainly because the attention to detail was exceptional. Harbin in May is very dry, and my lips were chapped, so the hotel thoughtfully provided two humidifiers. They also offered many little extras like earplugs, snacks, chocolates, and four bottles of water. The toilet had disposable seat covers and disinfectant wipes, and the disposable slippers were very comfortable, not the cheap kind. The water kettle was designed to use bottled water directly, which was very convenient, and the bed was large and comfortable. Upon checkout, I even received a small gift, and when I was leaving alone with a large suitcase, a staff member helped me carry it across the road and load it into the car.
I've stayed in 5-star hotels in Sydney, Singapore, Shanghai, and Paris, including places like Crown and Shangri-La, but none have been as meticulously detailed as this one.
And the price was incredibly affordable! Perhaps because it was the last day of the May Day holiday, it was only 260 yuan per night. I have to give it a 7-star rating!

The location is about 200 metre walk to the Central Street , ZhongYang Street. Very convenient to have foods at around with McDonald, KFC,etc.
The teams are very very services provider offering assistance to us on transport, luggages, etc for our needs.
Breakfast is simple but serves with 3 course meals beside the starters and fruits etc.

The hotel service was truly exceptional. On my first day, I used a toilet seat cover, and from the next day onwards, disposable toilet seat covers were provided daily. Housekeeping was always prompt, and fresh fruit and mineral water were replenished regularly. The bedding was changed every two days. What was even more incredible was that on my last day, while packing, I noticed that all the black scuff marks from baggage handling on my suitcase had been wiped clean!
The location is also superb. A left turn leads to the Hongzhuan Street morning market, and a short walk to the right takes you to Central Street. I never had breakfast at the hotel because there were so many great food options nearby. I'd go out in the morning, come back for a rest at noon, and then head out again in the afternoon, feeling completely refreshed. Wandering around the old streets near the hotel, you can find beautiful small churches and old buildings – absolutely fantastic!
If it's your first time visiting, I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Our spontaneous trip to the North was made perfect by choosing the right hotel: the newly opened Indigo Hotel (Central Street) in 2025.
The location is unbeatable, right at one end of Central Street, near the Flood Control Memorial Tower. Just a short walk downstairs and you're at the Ice and Snow Carnival. My child could go up and down to play on the Songhua River countless times a day (coming back to warm up when cold). The view is also incredible; the 9th-floor restaurant overlooks the Songhua River, a white wonderland.
In the evening, you can stroll and eat along Central Street, it couldn't be more convenient, nothing is too far away.
Being a new hotel, the facilities are excellent, with all the amenities you'd expect from a luxury hotel.
The service was exceptionally warm, with staff always ready to assist.
I highly recommend the breakfast, which is served until 10:30 AM. The variety is extensive and perfectly suited our 'southern potato' palates. My child happily ate every morning.
Afternoon tea was also great, and the desserts were good.
If there's one minor flaw, it's that due to traffic control on Central Street, taxis can only stop for 3 minutes. If you have a lot of luggage, it's best to contact the hotel staff in advance to help with pickup.
Also, be sure to book a room larger than 40 square meters, as the room types tend to be on the smaller side.
Everything else was excellent.
My child said she wants to stay here again next time we visit!

The river-view room offers an unbeatable view! You can go downstairs directly to the frozen Songhua River to play in the snow. Watching the ever-changing shapes of the snow on the river from the room every day was a truly magical experience. It's also very close to the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. The heating in the room was just right, not too stuffy, which was a huge plus for someone from the south not used to northern heating.

This hotel is really fantastic. It is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the location is absolutely perfect -- close to places to eat, shop and close to the pedestrian street. The room is lovely, with mini bar, a little couch, a tub and its clean and lovely. The staff brought and left me snacks, and brought me delicious fruit. Plus I found the people of Mudanjiang to be really friendly and lovely as I walked around the city.

Right across the road is the Songhua River, and by the river is the Madieer Ice Cream Parlor. To the left, you'll find the cable car for a scenic river crossing, and to the right, a bridge spanning the river. There's a 'killing-pig dish' (local specialty) restaurant downstairs, but I didn't try it so I can't comment on the taste. The room was spacious enough, and the staff were very enthusiastic. It's a shame the two beds couldn't be pushed together, even though the staff put a set of bedding on the sofa. I was worried my child wouldn't sleep comfortably, so we only stayed for one night. Overall, I was satisfied with the location, price, and service.
A night at the border, where river breezes and neon lights coexist. Opening the floor-to-ceiling windows of my hotel room, the magnificent landscape of the Sino-Russian border unfolds before my eyes. The Heilongjiang River stretches like a dark green ribbon between heaven and earth. On the other bank, the outline of the Russian city of Bu gradually becomes clear in the twilight, its lights gradually lighting up, echoing the lights of the countless homes on this side of the river, Heihe. The wooden furniture in the room gleams with a warm luster, the bedding is as soft as clouds, and the bathroom's fragrance, a refreshing pine note, blends seamlessly with the natural air outside. This wondrous experience of ”gazing at two countries from a single window” instantly dispels travel fatigue. Some scenery requires no trekking; a room that captures the river and the stars, a poetic retreat across the border. This is more than just a stay; it's a gentle encounter with a distant land.

GGuest UserFrom the moment we stepped into the lobby, the front desk staff greeted us warmly. They were very kind, patient with our requests, and highly professional! The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the experience was excellent. This hotel will undoubtedly be my top choice for future travels, and I wish them all the best!
It's not just a stay here; it's a delightful and relaxing encounter for both body and mind. The warmth made us feel right at home, filling our trip with pleasant surprises. The bedding was soft, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the breakfast was abundant, starting our day off wonderfully! Every detail showed thoughtfulness, and the value for money was exceptional. This truly worthwhile experience brought us joy, and we look forward to visiting again. Thank you to the hotel for creating such beautiful and precious memories for our important family trip; the children didn't want to leave.

GGuest UserThis hotel boasts an excellent location near the Songhua River. The staff were incredibly warm and provided great service, even offering a complimentary afternoon tea. Our whole family was very satisfied with our stay. There are tons of restaurants nearby, and it's right next to Central Street, and very close to St. Sophia Cathedral, which is easily reachable on foot. Not bad at all!

GGuest UserThis hotel was incredibly comfortable. I woke up naturally refreshed every day. The location is also convenient; while it's a bit far from the 731 Unit Museum, it's quick to get to Daoli District. The hotel is cleaned thoroughly and promptly every day. The front desk staff were very professional and attentive, providing us with 6 bottles of water daily and even complimentary fruit. They were always ready to help. The hotel staff who assisted with luggage were also very thoughtful. The shuttle service was excellent too; you just need to book 2 hours in advance, and it can take you to Harbin Ice and Snow World and Sunac Snow Park at the adjacent Sunac Mall. There's also MixC nearby, offering a full range of dining, entertainment, and shopping options.

GGuest UserThis stay far exceeded my expectations, and the service was the highlight! From the moment I checked in until I left, every staff member was smiling, enthusiastic, and attentive. The front desk handled check-in efficiently and thoughtfully, proactively upgrading my room. Room service was incredibly responsive, delivering items within minutes. What really touched me was how readily the front desk helped when I encountered a small issue; they truly made me feel like family. This kind of customer-centric service absolutely deserves a five-star rating!

KkURBAN RWe have heard a lot from our friends about this hotel. And we decided to go for the weekend. We got into the off-season, but we really liked it, especially the hot springs. The room was very clean and cozy. The staff are very friendly and answer all questions and help. The employees do not know English, but everyone has an interpreter, so there were no problems with the language. Special thanks to the employee 杨峰 at the reception, who helped us with check-in, kindly offered to upgrade the room for free.

XXiangrixiaokuikuilaExtremely satisfied with my stay. The location is great, about a 30-minute drive from both the high-speed train station and the airport.
**Ambiance:** The lobby, like other Mandarin Oriental hotels, is very grand and impressive.
**Facilities:** The facilities are well-maintained, but it doesn't have smart home features throughout the room.
**Cleanliness:** Overall, it was clean and tidy.
**Service:** The service was excellent, very warm and attentive. Today was 'Lidong' (Beginning of Winter), and they even specially served dumplings for breakfast, which was a really thoughtful touch.
