This is the best hotel I've stayed at in the past two years, from the ambiance to the service, room cleanliness, and even the food. The location is also very convenient, whether you're strolling along Central Street or taking a taxi or bus, it's perfect. Highly recommended! Every staff member treated guests with uniform politeness and professionalism. Thanks to their service, we had a comfortable and pleasant three-day, two-night stay. I really love Harbin; this experience after so many years was fantastic! See you next time.

We specifically chose the Ritz-Carlton Harbin to celebrate our anniversary. We informed the hotel in advance about our needs, and everything was perfectly arranged before our arrival. The room offered a panoramic view of the Songhua River, and the sunset was truly stunning. Choosing the Ritz for such an important occasion was definitely the right decision. Teasel (a staff member) even asked about our stay experience and invited us to return in the future. We are extremely satisfied!

This hotel truly excels in every aspect, from service to amenities. The thoughtful touches in the room, like the humidifier, wet wipes, disposable toilet seat covers, earplugs, and plastic slippers, show they really consider the guest's perspective. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. When I checked out, they even offered a 'princess treatment' service, escorting me all the way to my ride-sharing car.
I noticed many families staying here, which makes sense given the excellent family-friendly services. The front desk offers a breakfast voucher for just one yuan, and for multiple guests staying multiple nights, they thoughtfully arrange rooms together. Breakfast itself is delicious and varied, with the crispy fried pork (guoba rou) and tofu pudding being particular highlights.

This is the first five-star review I've given a hotel all year. The hotel is right next to Central Street and very close to the Central Street subway station. There are plenty of dining options around the hotel, and of course, Central Street itself is great for shopping, so the location is excellent. But these are secondary; the hotel's overall service and facilities were truly impressive. The staff's warm service and the perfect facilities left a deep impression on me. Even though we only had one suitcase, the doorman helped us carry it all the way to our room. The room wasn't huge, but it was very well-equipped, especially the fully automatic toilet. The shower pressure was excellent, and the water temperature was just right. The quality of the dental kit was also very good; I even took a new set home. Besides the buffet, it seems there are also special daily offerings for breakfast, and afternoon tea is provided. The room was also very quiet, which was a huge plus. This will definitely be my top choice when I visit Harbin again.

The hotel service was truly exceptional. On my first day, I used a toilet seat cover, and from the next day onwards, disposable toilet seat covers were provided daily. Housekeeping was always prompt, and fresh fruit and mineral water were replenished regularly. The bedding was changed every two days. What was even more incredible was that on my last day, while packing, I noticed that all the black scuff marks from baggage handling on my suitcase had been wiped clean!
The location is also superb. A left turn leads to the Hongzhuan Street morning market, and a short walk to the right takes you to Central Street. I never had breakfast at the hotel because there were so many great food options nearby. I'd go out in the morning, come back for a rest at noon, and then head out again in the afternoon, feeling completely refreshed. Wandering around the old streets near the hotel, you can find beautiful small churches and old buildings – absolutely fantastic!
If it's your first time visiting, I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Thank you for giving my mother an unforgettable birthday! Even though there was a mix-up with the dates (and I missed the call), overall it was great. From the F&B staff who helped us get hot water to the front desk who reactivated our key cards, and the concierge who assisted with taxi arrangements – a big thank you to everyone. The only thing we didn't expect was that the restaurant couldn't reheat our packed food, but we understand it's due to food safety concerns.
The hotel is beautiful and perfectly captures Harbin's 'Snow Kingdom' style. Highly recommended.

Stayed two nights at the Shangri-La with my family (two adults, one child) during the May Day holiday. The lovely front desk staff upgraded our room upon check-in and gave my child a complimentary drink. The room, as others have mentioned, felt a little dated, but the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet and comfortable stay, and we slept very well both nights. We had breakfast at 8 AM and didn't have to wait for a table. The location is superb, convenient for both taxis and the subway. I'd like to acknowledge that every staff member we encountered at this legitimate five-star hotel was incredibly warm and polite, demonstrating their professional service! A special shout-out to Wang Jingwen and Geng Jiamei. I recommend the Shangri-La.

This hotel is really fantastic. It is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the location is absolutely perfect -- close to places to eat, shop and close to the pedestrian street. The room is lovely, with mini bar, a little couch, a tub and its clean and lovely. The staff brought and left me snacks, and brought me delicious fruit. Plus I found the people of Mudanjiang to be really friendly and lovely as I walked around the city.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Being able to exchange points for a late check-out on Ctrip is incredibly convenient for travelers. The room was very spacious and felt comfortable as soon as we entered. There's a river right outside, so it's a river-view room with a great view; it's lovely for a stroll. The weather was pleasant, and the hotel service was thorough and attentive. They have a laundry room and a gym, which is excellent.
I have been based in Shanghai for a very long time now, only leaving during the covid years. I love 'my city', (as kitsch as this may sound), but want to explore the north of China, too. My welcome in Heihe was excellent with the driver I found to take me to the hotel doubling as a warm, humorous, and helpful guide. Price wise, it was convenient and easy to reach the hotel for a very fair fare of 100RMB,(about 20 AUD).The experience was further enhanced when I arrived and the two young women who were working at the front desk helping me change rooms to one with a view of the magnificent frozen river/border. The hotel itself is immaculate and has an 'old world charm'. Breakfast is served in splendour but you may want to ascertain which days the the buffet is available. It is wonderful to return to the hotel's warmth after a long day of photography in the snow. Highly recommended.

33005947198Getting to and from the ski slopes was super convenient. Compared to the two hotels next door, this one offered great value for money. The front desk staff were really enthusiastic and accommodating, always willing to help. They even proactively extended our check-out time! 👍
GGuest UserThe room size and layout were very well-thought-out. The bedding was comfortable, the hairdryer worked great, and the rain shower had excellent water pressure, making for a very enjoyable shower experience. Breakfast far exceeded my expectations; both the Chinese and Western options were delicious, clearly showing a dedication to high-quality food. The service was also excellent. It's very close to West Station, and there's a bus stop right downstairs, which is very convenient. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis hotel boasts an excellent location near the Songhua River. The staff were incredibly warm and provided great service, even offering a complimentary afternoon tea. Our whole family was very satisfied with our stay. There are tons of restaurants nearby, and it's right next to Central Street, and very close to St. Sophia Cathedral, which is easily reachable on foot. Not bad at all!

GGuest UserThis hotel was incredibly comfortable. I woke up naturally refreshed every day. The location is also convenient; while it's a bit far from the 731 Unit Museum, it's quick to get to Daoli District. The hotel is cleaned thoroughly and promptly every day. The front desk staff were very professional and attentive, providing us with 6 bottles of water daily and even complimentary fruit. They were always ready to help. The hotel staff who assisted with luggage were also very thoughtful. The shuttle service was excellent too; you just need to book 2 hours in advance, and it can take you to Harbin Ice and Snow World and Sunac Snow Park at the adjacent Sunac Mall. There's also MixC nearby, offering a full range of dining, entertainment, and shopping options.

XXiniangniangqiansuiqianqiansuiThis is an excellent hotel! The breakfast is incredibly refined and shows so much care – it's like they're always thinking about giving you the very best, and wouldn't dare serve anything less. For a hotel to operate this way, it's truly commendable. Can we please give an award to all the staff on duty? The room decor is similar to what you'd find at a Sofitel. Every single staff member greets you with a smile and works diligently. And I mean *every* staff member! I genuinely recommend this hotel to everyone. The breakfast is superior to what you'd find at H World Group hotels and other chains, and even surpasses some higher-starred hotels. It's truly a small but beautiful gem of a hotel.

GGuest UserThis was by far the best hotel experience during my trip to Harbin, every detail perfectly matched my aesthetic and preferences.
The decor of the Qixia room completely captivated me – a warm, natural wood palette throughout. Stepping inside felt like instantly settling into a cozy forest cabin. The 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows made the entire space bright and airy, and that oversized bathtub by the window was the highlight of my stay. Soaking in it every evening, watching the skyline turn a beautiful orange-pink, just melted all my fatigue away. I absolutely have to commend the room's island counter design and the faucets; the quality is superb. Detail-oriented guests will truly appreciate this thoughtful design.
Upon check-in, we received complimentary welcome fruits and a couple's cake. When I didn't feel like going out for lunch, I ordered room service – the 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork). It was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the sauce was absolutely divine, easily comparable to any famous local restaurant. The dessert section in the executive lounge was a hidden gem; every small cake was exquisite and delicious. The breakfast on the second day was an even bigger surprise – the freshly brewed Ewenki milk tea was rich and unique, and the croissants and Danish pastries from the bakery section had excellent flaky textures.
There's a 42-degree hot spring pool in the swimming area, which is such a rare find in a city hotel. After a swim, soaking in the hot water really opened up my pores; it must be even more wonderful to visit in winter.
From the moment I stepped into the sky lobby on the 42nd floor, I was immersed in a powerful tribal aesthetic: reindeer, 'chuoluozi' (tepee-like tents), and birch bark handicrafts everywhere. I spent a long time flipping through the faux-leather textured booklet and Ewenki-themed books in the room. Coupled with the set of hand-drawn creative postcards on the desk, it felt like receiving a gift from the vast forests of the Greater Khingan Mountains. Before checking out, I specifically went to see the Arctic-themed photography exhibition on the first floor. The exhibition was thoughtfully curated, showing just how much effort the hotel puts into cultural promotion.
The lobby service was consistently warm and attentive. The butler proactively introduced the facilities and helped carry luggage to the room, and room service responses were very prompt. Overall, it felt like being genuinely cared for, rather than just experiencing standardized politeness.

GGuest UserThe rooms are very clean, and the hotel amenities are exquisite. All the front desk ladies were super nice! 👍 From answering my inquiry calls to check-in and check-out, every single lady was so professional. My child had a great time, it was a wonderful vacation experience, and we'll definitely come back next time. Big shoutout to the front desk ladies! ❤️ The hot springs and steam room were also very clean and well-maintained. We stayed until closing time, and the staff were diligently disinfecting with chlorine-based agents, not just going through the motions. Big thumbs up for that! 👍
