Traveling to Changsha with my child, we checked in late at night. When I was looking for hotels, I found this one had a great location and wasn't expensive, but there were quite a few negative reviews, which made me a bit hesitant. So, I decided to book just one night to try it out. Regarding the room: I booked an exotic-themed room. There were many country-specific styles to choose from, which was a huge draw for my child. We ended up picking the Aegean Sea style. Upon entering, I found the room's decor and details to be very authentic and true to the pictures. My child was super excited, taking photos and sending them to classmates. At my child's request, we booked another night here the next day, but switched to a different themed room. Regarding the facilities: It's true, as some reviews mentioned, the elevators are a bit old, and one of them makes a slight noise. Since it's a high-rise building, waiting times for the four elevators can be a bit long. However, we were out late and came back late, so it didn't really affect us. Regarding the view: The room I booked did offer a direct river view, but you look at the river through the window (which can only be opened slightly for ventilation), so it's a little blurry. Regarding noise: Since the hotel is along the street, there is some noise. But perhaps because we were on a high floor (we stayed on the 21st floor), or because we're not very sensitive to noise, we weren't really bothered by it. Specifically, we arrived at the hotel between 11 PM and midnight on both nights and woke up naturally around 10 AM the next day. We weren't woken up by noise at all during this time. However, on the second night, we forgot to close the window before going to bed, and in the morning, we could hear someone playing music downstairs. Regarding the location: This is a no-brainer. The Xiang River is right across the street, the subway station is next door, and it's just a short walk to Taiping Street, Pozi Street, and other places. Extremely convenient.

The Fenghuang Suli Lianhua Hotel, located near Yunqiao Bridge on the banks of the Tuojiang River, offers the perfect blend of experiencing the ancient town's vibrant atmosphere while enjoying a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. The entire hotel boasts a classical Chinese style, with the lobby adorned with exquisite wood carvings, and every eave, corner, and step exuding elegance and charm. Our river-view room was a delightful surprise; opening the door revealed a large balcony directly facing the Tuojiang River, complete with comfortable lounge sofas and a tea set. Sitting on the balcony in the evening, sipping tea and admiring the view, every photo taken turned out to be a stunning, atmospheric shot. The room itself was spacious and clean, with soft and comfortable bedding, and excellent soundproofing, ensuring a particularly peaceful night's sleep. Amenities such as a smart toilet and a bubble bath tub were all available. The hotel also provides free parking, which is incredibly convenient for guests traveling by car. This stay was truly impeccable. Whether you're looking to experience the poetic charm of the ancient city, seeking comfortable accommodation, or planning a family trip or a getaway with friends, the Suli Lianhua Hotel is undoubtedly the best choice in Fenghuang Ancient Town. Our butler, Kele, provided meticulous service, helping with our luggage, escorting us to our room, and even assisting us in finding a guide. Our guide, A-mei, was also wonderful! Our trip to Fenghuang Ancient Town was perfect!

This was by far our favorite hotel out of the 3 hotels we stayed during our 1-week trip in China. The service provided by hotel staff were impeccable - they were very attentive, passed us ponchos on a rainy day / explained in detail on how to plan our trip to Tianmen mountain and the national park etc. View from our room was amazing as well, can see the cable cars going by. Alot of eateries nearby the hotel and the Zhangjiajie station was within a few minutes walk too. Super convenient to go up to the Tianmen mountain - 10 mins walk to the entrance poin

Overall, it was decent, but it still falls short compared to other five-star hotels. The location is excellent; you can access Hisense Plaza and Wenheyou right from the first floor without going outside. It's also convenient for getting Tea Funny (though Tea Funny is ubiquitous in Changsha anyway). The breakfast selection was too limited, feeling like only half of what you'd find at a Grand Hyatt in other cities. Unfortunately, I visited Changsha during a heavy haze, so the views from the room, which should have been beautiful, were completely obscured. A bit of a regret there.

This stay was a pleasant surprise! The hotel is in an excellent location, and it is very convenient for shopping and dining. The room is spacious and bright, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows have a great view. It is so relaxing to overlook the city night view at night. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. What I remember most is the service. When I needed a sewing kit during the stay, the staff delivered it to the room in less than 5 minutes. When I checked out, Phoebe took the initiative to ask for help calling a taxi, which was very considerate! The whole experience was comfortable and worry-free, and I have recommended it to my friends.

Facilities: The amenities are complete, including laundry, fitness, and smart voice control which is super convenient. The breakfast, late-night snacks, and afternoon tea are incredibly heartwarming. Cleanliness: The hygiene is impeccable, meeting five-star standards. Even the corners are spotless. Environment: The decor features a chic black and grey tone, creating a fantastic ambiance for photos. There's even a hotel photographer who can help you capture stunning shots, even if you're traveling solo. Definitely worth staying here.

This time when I went back to my hometown, I didn't want to stay at home, so I just looked at the luxury list online. Our Panlong Villa Hotel was only more than 200 yuan, so I booked it. As expected, I was not disappointed. The rice noodles I took home were very comfortable and tasted very authentic. The food tasted good too. The room was better than I expected. Although Panlong has been around for a long time, the items in the room are well maintained, and you can see the star quality. The environment outside is also very good. I asked the waiter, and the catering is being upgraded, and the guest rooms will also be upgraded. As a Xiangtan native, I am really happy to see that my hometown is getting better. I will come again next time and bring my family with me. When I come again, my children will probably be very excited to see the musical fountain.

The night before, I booked the Hilton Changsha Shimao through the Hilton platform, and the experience was utterly terrible. The soundproofing was awful. I was woken up at 3 AM by noise from the hallway and didn't sleep a wink all night, ending up with a pounding headache. First thing in the morning, I rebooked at the InterContinental via Trip.com. Miss Anna Jiang at the front desk was incredibly professional, friendly, and genuinely warm. I was so touched! She walked me to the elevator, introduced me to the hotel facilities and restaurants. She even pre-warned me that the river view rooms are near the elevators and to let them know if I experienced any noise so I could switch rooms. The concierge staff were also very proactive and helpful; I really appreciate their assistance. Although the hotel's hardware facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained and clean. The room view was lovely, overlooking the delta where the Liuyang River and Xiang River converge. There's a direct passage to the adjacent shopping malls (Beichenhui/Joy City), making dining and shopping very convenient. Breakfast here has the best Western pastries among all the international brand hotels I've stayed at in the past few months. It really suited my preferences, and the coffee was made with an espresso machine. There were also plenty of Chinese options, including rice noodles, but the texture wasn't quite to my liking; they were a bit too thick. Before checking out, I realized I'd left a ring in the room. I called, and they informed me it had already been found and sent to the concierge. It was perfect timing as I was just returning from visiting the Changsha Museum and picked it up on my way back. Oh, and right across from the hotel are the 'Three Museums and One Hall,' which are within walking distance. For food deliveries, you have to pick them up from external lockers, which is understandable and acceptable to me.

An excellent 5-star hotel with a truly comfortable and spacious room. The cleaning staff was amazing, with thoughtful everyday surprises left in our room that made the stay feel special. Breakfast offered a great selection with very good quality, and the location is excellent, just a short walk from the Tianmen Mountain cable car. I had mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel kindly prepared a beautifully decorated bed for us. It was a lovely and thoughtful gesture that made our anniversary with my wife even more special. A big thank you to Angela and Sunny at the reception, both were very sweet, helpful and attentive when I met them and helped me with what I needed at the time. Highly recommended.

The hotel is ideally located in Changsha IFS, right in the heart of the Wuyi Square business district. It boasts a wealth of shopping and dining options nearby, and transportation is incredibly convenient and efficient. This stay was in the N1 Deluxe River View King Room. The room felt a bit cramped and lacked a walk-in closet. In terms of service, the hotel staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and professional, making guests feel right at home. The front desk and guest experience team were responsive and thoughtfully provided welcome fruit and refreshments. The hotel facilities are comprehensive and modern luxury. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, and the bedding is comfortable and skin-friendly. The hotel lobby, situated on the 93rd floor, offers expansive views. The 93rd-floor restaurant provides a diverse array of Chinese and Western breakfast options, and their exquisite afternoon tea is highly praised. Overall hygiene management met expectations; the rooms were tidy and clean, and the housekeeping team was diligent and promptly addressed guests' cleaning needs.

JJess and familyWe booked this hotel since it was closer to Tiamen mountain. Unfortunately the hotel is very far away from everything else and you don’t have any restaurants nearby except for the hotel restaurant. When we booked this hotel we got an offer to get: 1 craftsman beer 100 yuan in didi tickets 2 tickets to an exhibition. Even these we never received, the 100 yuan in didi (taxi) tickets we got when we asked for them and showed them the booking information and even though they saw the booking information in Chinese the didn’t get us the offer that we had paid for. When we arrived at the hotel which is very grand and look very nice upon arrival they greeted us at the car which is expected for a hotel that grand but that was only the first day they did that. All other times when we got to the hotel no one greeted us, they were all busy talking to each other instead. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 kids and even though we booked a family room where they know 4 people was staying they gave us only amenities such as towels etc for 2 people so every day we needed to wait and ask for 2 more towels before we took a shower. We also booked excursions through the hotel to visit Grand Canyon and also Tiamen mountain and paid over 1600 yuan for the whole family with everything included. When we came to Grand Canyon we couldn’t experience what we were there for (the zipline) because it had weight restrictions and when we contacted the sales person from the hotel she didn’t take any responsibility and just blamed everything else instead of saying that she was sorry. The day after we visited Tiamen mountain and here we had also booked a ticket that should have included everything and when we came there it was hidden fees that the sales person from the hotel hadn’t told us. When we contacted her again it was the same response that she blamed everything else instead of taking responsibility for that she hadn’t told us everything that she needed to tell us. No compensation was given by the hotel and no excuse. When we checked ut the staff said that they would be happy if we could give them a 5 star review and my response was that I will give you a review but it’s not going to be 5 star. When they asked us explain why we did and they blamed it on the language barrier which I don’t buy since all the messages and sales were done through translation app and also through WeChat were you can translate into your own language. It would have been so easy for the hotel to say I’m sorry and for example as a compensation from us you can go down to the buffé restaurant to eat dinner but instead they blamed everything else! We are world travelers and have been to different cities both in China and also in different country’s around the world and this is one of the hotel were we feel that they had the worst service we have experienced. When we’re coming back we will not stay here again! A fancy hotel that can not live up to the expectations.

__WeChat34800****Yijian 6500 is hands down the best hotel in Changsha! Tucked away on Sujia Alley's ancient stone-paved streets, dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, it's just steps from the bustling Wuyi Square and IFS. Yet, once you step inside, the tranquility of its Zen-inspired courtyard with black brick and grey tiles instantly creates a peaceful escape from the city's noise – truly a gem of quiet luxury. The room's dark aesthetic perfectly matched my taste, and the goose down bedding was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. They've got all the premium amenities: Dyson hairdryer, smart toilet, LELABO toiletries, and even fresh Baisha Ancient Well water delivered daily for drinking. Enjoying tea with the kung fu tea set really brought out the charm of Changsha. The 24-hour butler service was incredibly thoughtful, handling everything from luggage to ordering Tea'sa Tea for me and even planning my itinerary. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks were all delivered directly to my room; the abalone breakfast and custom sparkling water were a delightful treat. What surprised me most was the complimentary travel photoshoot. The photographer guided me through poses, and I received 9 retouched photos plus all the original shots, making for some truly high-end pictures! It's also within walking distance of popular spots like Tianbao Brothers and Tea'sa Tea. After a long day of exploring, returning to the hotel to relax on the terrace, watching the old city's grey tiles reflect the modern high-rises, made the experience absolutely perfect. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Changsha!

The room we stayed in was the Watery B one, very spacious, nice bathtub and very clean. Location-wise they provide you with free shuttles to the train station, Natural Park (Avatar) & Glass Bridge. The food in the Chinese hotel was nice, with a very talented singer, Monica. The owner of the hotel is very warm, curious and smart person. Altogether, we felt home there and will 100% return!

GGuest UserWow, this hotel truly exceeded all our expectations. Everything about our stay was exceptional, and I can confidently say there was not a single fault. From the very beginning, we felt incredibly welcomed by the staff. We were greeted downstairs at the door, our luggage was taken care of, and we were even offered tea and a hot towel, which was such a nice gesture. Before we were escorted to our room, the staff even helped us to change into slippers (outside shoes aren’t allowed past the lobby). One of the staff members then accompanied us to the room and explained every detail about it, something I’ve never experienced before. The room itself was also spotless and very comfortable. The shower was spacious, and the toiletries provided were of high quality. I also wanted to mention a moment where I truly felt genuine care from the staff. On a day when the temperature suddenly dropped, they had advised us to dress warmly and even provided us a bag with rain jackets and water. Without this kind gesture, I genuinely feel like I would’ve gotten sick so I felt extremely thankful. Coming back to the hotel, they even welcomed us back with hot tea and dessert, which was such a comforting and thoughtful touch. The hotel was also home to five adorable and friendly kitties. As a cat lover, this was such a delightful bonus and made the entire stay feel even more charming and homey. Overall, I would highly highly recommend this hotel. Although it is slightly pricier than the average of most hotels located in Zhangjiajie, the service and quality of the room definitely make up for it. There is no doubt that I’ll be staying here again when I come back to visit!

__WeChat258597****This guesthouse in Zhangjiajie, where we stayed, has an absolutely unbeatable location! It's less than a three-minute walk to the entrance of the National Forest Park. No need to rush for buses or wake up early; you can sleep in, head out at your leisure, and enter the scenic area. The room was clean and bright, and the bedding was soft! The underfloor heating was excellent and didn't dry out the air. The main highlight, though, was the incredibly thoughtful butler service. The butler created a group chat in advance to help us plan our itinerary, making our stay absolutely perfect! They even reminded us to add layers due to the large temperature difference between morning and evening, which was so considerate. The guesthouse's restaurant food was amazing, and the chef's culinary skills were a definite bonus! We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Zhangjiajie and have already recommended it to all our friends planning a trip there. A very satisfying stay.
