A perfect stay! Choosing this elegant hotel was absolutely the best decision for my trip to Xi'an. The location is truly unbeatable – just a 3-minute walk to Yongning Gate to climb the city wall, and a 10-minute walk straight to the Bell Tower. The subway entrance is right outside the door, making it super convenient for getting around and exploring without any detours. At night, I could even enjoy the illuminated Yongning Gate city wall from the hotel – the vibrant lights created an incredible atmosphere. The room itself had a modern and elegant design that blended perfectly with the ancient city's charm. It was spacious and well-lit, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a truly restorative night's sleep. The bathroom had excellent wet and dry separation, and the toiletries had a subtle, pleasant fragrance that was very comfortable to use. The facilities were comprehensive, and the hygiene was impeccable. I highly recommend this hotel!

Three families, including mine, stayed for four nights. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with Metro Line 2 right at the entrance. We could easily walk to the Muslim Quarter, Bell Tower, and Drum Tower. The service exceeded our expectations; they proactively added us on WeChat before check-in and communicated with us daily, even upgrading all three of our rooms for free. I have to specifically mention the hotel's breakfast—it was excellent, especially the various noodle dishes! Their homemade 'zenggao' (steamed glutinous rice cake) also received unanimous praise from all of us! Overall, it was a stay with great value for money!

Stepping into the Xi'an Huaqing Yutang Hotel felt like being instantly transported back to the glorious Tang Dynasty. The hotel is built into the hillside, seamlessly blending with the Huaqing Palace ruins. Its black bricks, grey tiles, and upturned eaves everywhere exude a rich Tang-dynasty charm. Upon check-in, staff dressed in traditional Tang attire offered warm welcoming tea, and their meticulous service made us feel truly valued. The guest rooms perfectly combine Tang culture with modern comfort. The antique-style furniture is elegant and exquisite, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly. The most delightful surprise, however, was the private natural hot spring bath right in the room. Sourced from the ancient springs at the foot of Mount Li, the water is smooth and rich in various minerals. Enjoying this luxury in a private setting instantly washed away all travel fatigue. At night, gazing at the starry sky from the balcony and listening to the wind in the mountains, it felt as though I could hear echoes of history. The hotel's exclusive 'Jinghong Travel Photography' service was undoubtedly the highlight of this stay. From hair and makeup to clothing, a professional team meticulously created full Tang-style looks for us. The makeup artist's techniques were delicate, and both the hair accessories and makeup aimed to authentically recreate the splendor of the Tang Dynasty. Donning the gorgeous Tang-era Hanfu, we instantly transformed into characters from a painting. Our photographer was not only highly skilled but also deeply knowledgeable about the history and culture of Huaqing Palace. He guided us through pavilions, terraces, and hot spring pools, choosing the best lighting and angles to perfectly blend the beauty of Mount Li with our poses. Whether it was the languid charm of a concubine bathing or the classic elegance of gazing into the distance from a railing, each photo was like a beautiful ancient-style scroll, immortalizing our Tang Dynasty memories. The entire photoshoot was relaxed and enjoyable, and the results far exceeded our expectations. Summary: A dual feast for body, mind, and culture. The Xi'an Huaqing Yutang Hotel is not just a place to stay; it's an immersive cultural experience. It nourishes the body and mind with ancient hot springs, infuses the soul with the splendor of the Tang Dynasty, and then uses the 'Jinghong Travel Photography' to eternally capture these unique memories. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a hot spring lover, or a traveler seeking a unique experience, this is an unmissable and perfect choice for your Xi'an trip. I highly recommend it to anyone who yearns for the elegance of the Tang Dynasty!

Our stay this time exceeded all expectations! First and foremost, a huge thank you to the Guest Relations Officer, Oliver! Check-in was super efficient and thoughtful. He patiently introduced us to nearby attractions and local delicacies, maintaining a warm and attentive attitude throughout. The room was wonderfully warm, very clean, and well-equipped. Our beds were made daily, and used items like shower caps and disposable slippers were replenished. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety too. Plus, they have robots that deliver food, which is incredibly convenient! We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Xi'an! The location is also excellent, making our few days in Xi'an very comfortable. Regarding the complimentary items: two freshly ground coffees and desserts at the lobby bar (for the first day), and two cocktails (for the first day): We returned to the hotel quite late on the first day and were worried we wouldn't have time to use them, but Oliver kindly helped us by packing them up. We're very grateful for his assistance!

Following my usual travel routine, I booked this hotel in advance through Ctrip. I initially wanted to book the Lika, but found its location a bit far from the city center. I chose the Westin not only for its five-star standard but primarily because of its excellent location. It's right by the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City, and directly opposite Joy City, making it incredibly convenient for dining, entertainment, and transportation. The hotel's service quality is outstanding, and the staff are very warm and accommodating, always ready to help. The room was clean and well-arranged, and they had an air purifier running, so there were no unpleasant odors. On the first day, we received complimentary welcome fruits and red wine. The afternoon tea in the executive lounge was also quite good. The hotel's breakfast offered a rich variety of options, and the local specialties tasted authentic, especially the 'roujiamo' (Chinese hamburger), which was delicious. A bonus point: takeout orders could be delivered to our room by a robot. Special thanks to the hotel's front desk manager for handling an issue promptly and appropriately, which significantly enhanced our impression of the Westin. I highly recommend the Westin to anyone planning a family trip to Xi'an; it's truly an excellent choice.

I stayed for 4 days across two separate bookings, and this is for the second one. It's my fifth time staying at the Ritz in Xi'an, and the fact that I keep coming back speaks volumes. There was a slight hiccup on my last day. Around 1 PM, I returned to the hotel to shower and found there was no hot water. I called the front desk, and they informed me it was due to maintenance from 2 PM to 3 PM. I later saw a notice about it that had been placed on the counter during housekeeping. No big deal, I had been out all day and hadn't seen it. After waiting an hour, the hot water returned, and I had a lovely shower before bed. Then something interesting happened. At 11 AM, a male staff member called my room and said, ”Due to the inconvenience caused by yesterday's water pipe maintenance, we've decided to offer you a late checkout until 2 PM.” I was like, ”Huh?” I had already forgotten all about it until he brought it up. Requesting a late checkout is usually just a quick call to the front desk, especially during the off-season. Is offering a late checkout for this considered good PR? It felt like he was trying to give a steamed bun to someone who was already full. I think the staff's emotional intelligence could use some improvement. I checked out at 11:30 AM.

The hotel is located in a garden area, and the room is relatively spacious. My friend felt that the shampoo products were very suitable for her to use. The hotel also has free laundry and drying services, and the waiters are very enthusiastic. Parking is free in the basement. Just call the front desk to report your license plate number when you go out. There are many restaurants near the hotel, which is convenient. Recommend everyone

This is my second time back at W Xi'an, and it still feels just as familiar as before. I even ran into some familiar faces at the front desk. They were as warm and welcoming as ever, and even remembered me and had my WeChat! They were as friendly and approachable as old friends. The room was clean and tidy. I'll definitely be back again next time.

During my stay at Crowne Plaza, I found the accommodation very satisfactory. The room was a good size, featuring a comfortable, super large bed, mini fridge, kettle but no milk, this had to be requested. Also, the slow drainage in the shower was messy and inconvenient. Overall the room was very nice. The hotel’s lobby was spacious and attractively designed, setting a welcoming tone upon arrival. The lounge and the 40th-floor bar were definite highlights, offering a cool and inviting ambiance. The breakfast provided met standard expectations and was enjoyable. I’d like to extend a special acknowledgment to Tony, whose help during check-in and arranging breakfast in my room when I wasn’t feeling well was exceptional, demonstrating outstanding service. Crowne Plaza’s prime location adjacent to a mall and the bridge offered numerous options for leisurely walks and sightseeing, adding to the overall convenience. Although I didn’t personally utilize the gym or pool, they appeared to be well-maintained. Best hotel in the city for sure.

This is my third visit to Mount Hua, and I once again decisively chose the Shaanxi Geo-building Nanshan Huashan Hot Spring Hotel. The experience was even better than before! It's a direct 1.5-hour drive from Xi'an, and the hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, with air so fresh it's incredibly relaxing. The hot spring room I booked was a wonderful surprise – the private hot spring courtyard was secluded and quiet. Soaking in the hot spring while gazing at the distant mountains made my fatigue vanish instantly. The room facilities were complete, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries had a subtle, pleasant fragrance, showing quality in every detail. The staff were particularly enthusiastic; they actively helped us with our luggage and even recommended a less-traveled hiking route for Mount Hua, helping us avoid the crowds. For dinner, we ate Shaanxi cuisine at the hotel restaurant. The Gourd Chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the Mount Hua wild vegetables were refreshing and delicious. The value for money was excellent. The hotel's location is convenient, and there are also local orchards nearby where you can pick fruit, making it perfect for a leisurely vacation. I've already recommended it to my friends, and it will definitely be my go-to place whenever I visit Mount Hua in the future!

XXiaoqiyaWe stayed for two nights, on the 16th and 17th. On the 15th, I received a call from the hotel asking about our room preferences. I requested a room with a good view, non-smoking, and quiet. When we checked in, the staff assigned us room 213. This was the lowest floor I've ever stayed on in a hotel, and it was room number 13! I was surprised that the hotel actually had a room 13! How could an international hotel like this assign room 13 to a foreigner? During afternoon tea that day, besides my husband, myself, and an Asian mother and daughter, all the other guests were foreigners. This made me realize even more why I was so unlucky to get room 13! This hotel has such a unique room number 13, and they treat their own compatriots differently from foreigners! However, the smart toilet in room 13 was broken. It wouldn't automatically lift the lid or flush when you stood in front of it. What was even more unbearable was that as soon as you sat on it, the toilet would make a loud gurgling sound and automatically spray water on your backside. We tried it twice, and it happened both times. Also, the light switch was malfunctioning and didn't work. As a result, our room was changed to room 206. Neither room 13 nor room 06 had a French garden view; you could only see trees outside the window. Room 06 overlooked a concrete platform. I stayed during the off-season, and there were only a handful of guests at both afternoon tea and breakfast. Even during the peak breakfast time at 8 AM, there were only four tables with no more than ten guests. In such an off-season, why couldn't they offer us a higher floor with a better view? The male butler from the hotel called in advance on the 15th to ask about my room preferences; wasn't that just being insincere and fake? The staff's service level was inconsistent. Two female servers at afternoon tea and breakfast simply didn't observe guests' needs. The slim, tall female server in the afternoon tea restaurant had an ice-cold expression and no proactive service awareness. One female server in the breakfast restaurant looked like she hadn't woken up yet, with messy hair, no makeup, and ill-fitting work clothes, completely lacking the demeanor of a star-rated hotel employee. More importantly, this server didn't proactively observe guests' tables. Every time, we had to call her to take away the empty plates. Even more exaggerated, when she took away empty plates, she wouldn't simultaneously take away empty cups, nor would she think to ask. Let's talk about the problems with the breakfast restaurant: First, the flowers on the dining tables were fake! For a 'diamond-level' hotel like this, how can they put fake flowers on the tables? If they want to save costs, there are many ways: place some air plants or soilless succulents, or even small, easy-to-care-for plants. Anything real would be more tasteful than these fake ones. Regardless, a 'diamond-level' hotel should not have fake flowers on its dining tables. This is disrespectful to guests. Second, there was a wide variety of bread, but no chain-type toaster to heat the bread. This is usually a staple at the bread station in five-star hotels. Yet, at this 'super five-star' hotel, you can only eat cold bread for breakfast. Third, the restaurant only provided toothpicks, not dental floss sticks. Nowadays, even very ordinary restaurants offer dental floss sticks. A 'diamond-level' hotel like this should provide guests with dental floss sticks, and ideally, toothpick brushes. Additionally, the steps in the bathrooms of both room 13 and room 06 were damaged. In room 13, the hotel actually used cheap, uneven gray adhesive corner guards, which looked very out of place and clashed with the exquisite French decor. They should have used brass stair nosings! During my two-day stay at the hotel, Ms. Doris Du's kindness, politeness, proactive work attitude, and professional image left a very good impression on me. After we checked in and received our key, she led us to our room. She first gave us a tour of the hotel and introduced its history. On the day we checked out, she happened to be on duty at the front desk. She was the only staff member at the hotel who immediately stood up to greet guests upon seeing them! The only one! This small professional gesture of hers was like the first ray of sunshine in the morning, warming my heart! Recalling my check-in, there was a male and female staff member at the front desk. They did not stand up to greet us when guests checked in. When we received our room cards and got up to leave, they remained seated without moving. This is disrespectful to guests. Staff should stand up to greet guests when they arrive, ask them to sit down, and then sit down themselves to process the check-in. When guests receive their room cards and get up, the staff should also stand up to see them off. Such basic courtesies of polite welcome and farewell were completely lacking! On the day I checked in, I had two items of clothing that needed ironing. The female staff member who was on duty at the front desk that day came to our room to collect them. During the process of opening the door to see her, handing her the clothes, and briefly communicating with her, she maintained an ice-cold demeanor throughout, without a hint of a smile. She was not the only female staff member in this hotel who provided service without a smile. In summary, all these issues, and more, expose the hotel's unprofessional training and inadequate management. Sofitel Legend People's Grand Hotel Xian is not directly affiliated with the Sofitel group; it is part of the People's Grand Building owned by Shaanxi Urban Investment and Operations Group Co., Ltd., and is operated by AccorHotels, a French hotel management group. Therefore, the experience was vastly different from the Sofitel hotels I've stayed at abroad.

詠詠許The moment we stepped out of the elevator, a delightful aroma greeted us, leading us into the elegant lobby on the 16th floor. The decor here is tasteful and the atmosphere refined. Several friendly and professional front desk ladies provided excellent service during our check-in. Our room was spacious and comfortable, beautifully furnished, and fully equipped with all kinds of amenities and toiletries. The bed was wonderfully soft, ensuring a deep and restful sleep. Even the bathtub water temperature was just right, making bath time especially enjoyable. The hotel's location is near the Drum Tower, with a variety of restaurants in the vicinity. This is our top choice for a trip to Xi'an, and we will definitely return to this warm and wonderful place in the future! Every penny spent was worth it – the lavish breakfast, exquisite afternoon tea and late-night snacks, and the memorable red wine at the rooftop bar! I truly wish we had booked a few more nights! Many thanks to all the lovely ladies and gentlemen for their warm hospitality! 🌹

GGuest UserThe room was quite spacious, but the sliding door separating the bathroom from the main room felt a bit unusual. The lighting in the room was also a bit dim. On the positive side, it's incredibly close to Longshouyuan Station on Metro Line 2, just about 10 meters from Exit B. This makes getting around super convenient for sightseeing, as most attractions are accessible by metro. Taking a taxi to the snack street usually costs around 10+ RMB, to the Terracotta Warriors it's about 60+ RMB, and to Datang Everbright City, it's around 30 RMB. There's also a steak restaurant on the second floor of the hotel.

MM507790****My stay at the Tanghua Hualuxe Hotel exceeded all expectations! The location is absolutely fantastic, just a 5-minute walk to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, offering stunning night views of the Grand Tang Everbright City. The Tang-style garden, designed by master Zhang Jinqiu, is breathtaking with picturesque scenes at every turn, and peacocks strolling by the lake – perfect for photoshoots in Hanfu. The rooms perfectly blend modern comfort with the aesthetics of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, and the bedding is incredibly soft. The Cai Feng Lou restaurant, a Black Pearl awardee, is a must-try; their signature roasted pigeon is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. For breakfast, the Roujiamo and Hurutang are authentically delicious and get full marks. The 'Sakura' service was incredibly thoughtful. AAnonymous UserBest hotel for my Dec 2025 China Trip! We took on the Xi’an private tour offered by Trip.com and was arranged to stay in the hotel by the tour. Upon completion of tour, we travelled out of xi’an to other cities before returning to xi’an to catch our flight back. The hotel gave us such comfy vibes that we cancelled other hotel booked earlier and returned to the same hotel, once again. It’s definitely not cheap for the hotel around the area especially there are many alternatives within a stone throw from Bell’s Tower but honestly, no regrets! Room was extremely spacious and we’re lucky to get the room with city wall view. Room came with a separate living area which ended up being our luggage storage and packing zone. Upon entry to the room, there are a small closet area where there are cabinet for one to sit and changed out shoes, especially important because winter trip = having boots! WC (with a small sink) is also separated from showers which to me, was ideal because 2 person can do different business together at any time. We took on the breakfast even tho the food appeared to be the same throughout. Staple are steamed buns, pork belly, cereal pork rib, corn kernels with prawn and hardboiled egg. Nothing fanciful about breakfast but for winter, its a necessity because stores dont open early around the area. Cotti coffee and a convenience store are just next door, which is convenient. For those who are taking public transport, subway station is just right after the cotti coffee, which is perfect. Also for people who are excited with supermarket like us, Vangard supermart and another local supermart are just around the corner. Pharmacy are also there so it’s convenient! Showed my family the room and they are already planning to visit xi’an, JUST FOR THE HOTEL! No regrets, just book. You’ll thank me later (:
