During my stay at Crowne Plaza, I found the accommodation very satisfactory. The room was a good size, featuring a comfortable, super large bed, mini fridge, kettle but no milk, this had to be requested. Also, the slow drainage in the shower was messy and inconvenient. Overall the room was very nice. The hotel’s lobby was spacious and attractively designed, setting a welcoming tone upon arrival. The lounge and the 40th-floor bar were definite highlights, offering a cool and inviting ambiance. The breakfast provided met standard expectations and was enjoyable. I’d like to extend a special acknowledgment to Tony, whose help during check-in and arranging breakfast in my room when I wasn’t feeling well was exceptional, demonstrating outstanding service. Crowne Plaza’s prime location adjacent to a mall and the bridge offered numerous options for leisurely walks and sightseeing, adding to the overall convenience. Although I didn’t personally utilize the gym or pool, they appeared to be well-maintained. Best hotel in the city for sure.

My stay in Xi’an this time was truly wonderful. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the room was spacious with a beautiful sense of design. You can really feel the attention to detail in every corner. The service was also very thoughtful — from check-in to departure, I felt well taken care of the entire time, which made the experience even better. My favorite part was the rooftop view. You can see the Xi’an City Wall, and the atmosphere is amazing — it’s also perfect for photos. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Xi’an, and I highly recommend it to everyone. 👍

First off, I have to say the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Datang Everbright City, two major attractions, are right on your doorstep. You can pop back to the hotel for a rest anytime you get tired from exploring, without having to jostle with other tourists. Plus, the Joy City mall across the street is super convenient for dining and shopping. It's also easy to get to the Bell and Drum Towers. **Service:** The hotel service is excellent. The front desk staff even upgraded my room, which was very spacious and comfortable. **Facilities:** Although a bit older, the facilities have a charming, antique feel that perfectly matches Xi'an's ancient capital vibe. **Environment:** The overall environment is also very good, and the soundproofing is excellent. The breakfast area isn't huge, but it offers a unique spread.

The hotel's location is convenient, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. All the staff we encountered were incredibly warm and attentive, always doing their best to accommodate our requests. From the lobby to the restaurant, the overall ambiance is soft and understated, which I really appreciate as a hallmark of Marriott's standardized high quality. The restaurant offers a comprehensive selection of Chinese and Western dishes, including both hot and cold options.

I booked the Dongshe Hotel for my family visiting Xi'an, and they stayed for three days. They kept praising my choice of accommodation, saying it was incredibly comfortable. 1️⃣ **Thoughtful and Practical Facilities**: The room came with a humidifier and a spacious shower, with stable water temperature and good water pressure. The mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—and my family said they slept soundly for all three nights. The hallways and rooms were also spacious, making it easy to maneuver luggage. 2️⃣ **Impeccable and Reassuring Cleanliness**: My family reported that the cleaning was exceptionally thorough. The bedding and towels were soft and fresh, the vanity and mirror were sparkling, and the floors were so clean you could walk barefoot without a problem. 3️⃣ **Convenient Yet Quiet Location**: The hotel is right near the Muslim Quarter, so it's easy to step out for food and shopping. However, it's not on the main street, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustle. 4️⃣ **Proactive and Warm Service**: Hotel staff greeted them warmly every day, and there was even a hand-drawn map in the room, which was a lovely, thoughtful touch. Any small issues they encountered during their stay were resolved immediately.

The hotel is grand and the room is big. However, the aircon in our room was spoilt and the temperature of the room was unpleasant. Luckily, the weather was cooling and we had to open up the balcony door to cool the room for the night. Aircon technician spent an hour fixing the aircon but it was worse. The aircon started leaking water at the luggage storage throughout the night, with the sound of the leaking water affecting our sleep. But our traveling company had no issues with their rooms.

A perfect experience for a family trip. The hotel is in a very good location, right by the Han River, integrated with Tianhan Park, and has a very good environment The hotel service is first-class, the facilities are very new, and it feels very high-end The breakfast is very good, the hot rice noodles are a must, I ate bowl after bowl until I couldn't eat anymore, it's much better than eating out There is a 30 yuan noodle buffet for lunch, which is amazing! Every kind of noodle is delicious, oil splash, pulled noodles, the children ate bowl after bowl, amazing! Next time I come to Hanzhong, I will stay here again

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right outside Bell Tower subway station and across from Kaiyuan Shopping Mall, making getting around a breeze. The room was spotless, and the gentleman on the ground floor was very welcoming, even helping us with our luggage all the way to the subway entrance when we checked out. Breakfast offered a great variety, and they even had afternoon tea. Our child got tired from exploring in the morning, so we could relax at the hotel with afternoon tea before heading out again in the evening. We forgot to bring a pencil sharpener for our child, and the front desk thoughtfully sent a robot to deliver one to our room. When we checked out, the front desk ladies were all very friendly and even gave us a thoughtful little gift. Next time we visit Xi'an, we'll definitely choose Novotel again.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel reached out before check-in to understand my needs, and everything was perfectly arranged by the time I arrived. The room amenities are very modern, including electric curtains, a smart toilet, a projector TV, and an air purifier. The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to a subway station, and the adjacent mall has plenty of local food options. The hotel's design has an antique charm, really showcasing Xi'an's local culture. The staff are highly service-oriented; Lily from Guest Relations was especially attentive, responsive, and ensured I got a room I was very happy with. The pool area is also great, with a constant temperature of 29 degrees Celsius, plus a hot tub – perfect for kids. It would be even better if the executive lounge offered more kid-friendly options for their light meals. The hotel package was also quite comprehensive. Overall, a great experience.

My stay at the Hilton Xi'an was fantastic. The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient for both business and leisure travelers. The lobby is grand and elegant, with stylish Tang Dynasty-inspired design. My room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom and bedding were high quality, perfect for both work and relaxation. The service was professional and efficient; check-in and check-out were quick, and the attention to detail was impressive. The dining was consistently good, and the surrounding area offers plenty of amenities. It truly lives up to its five-star standard and offers great value for money. Highly recommend!

LLandaorenI hadn't stayed at Sofitel Legend before, but I had twice stayed at the Sofitel and Mercure hotels next door (Mercure has since closed down). However, I've always had an irresistible attraction to hotels with a rich history, especially those converted from former high-level government guesthouses (let's call them 'old money hotels'). While planning where to go for the 2026 Chinese New Year, a short video platform surprisingly pushed this hotel that had always intrigued me. I checked the prices, and compared to other five-star hotels in Xi'an, it was significantly cheaper, so I booked a New Year's Eve stay. Upon arrival, the doorman promptly opened the car door and helped with our luggage, which goes without saying (though, to be fair, many five-star hotel doormen nowadays lack such proactiveness). The front desk staff efficiently and smoothly handled the check-in process, offering a choice of champagne, coffee, or black tea as a welcome drink. While resting in the lounge area, I happened to see a few young women taking photos in the hotel's coffee corner, adding a lively touch to the atmosphere. The attendant escorted us to our room, briefly introducing the hotel's history. Built in the 1950s, it served as a provincial guesthouse, combining Soviet, French, and traditional Chinese architectural styles. The complimentary bottled water was also in Tetra Pak packaging, reflecting the hotel's commitment to green practices. During our stay, the restaurant's host remembered our preferences by the second day. The 'shui盆牛肉' (beef soup) with 'baiji mo' (flatbread) was incredibly fragrant and chewy; I almost wanted to pack some to take home. The butler service was also impeccable, with turn-down service promptly at 7 PM every evening. The local specialty drink, 'Bingfeng' soda, was a delightful taste sensation. On the morning of the first day of Chinese New Year, the hotel arranged a lion dance performance – I never expected to see a Southern Lion dance team in Xi'an. Although the hotel only has 71 guest rooms, excluding the few business presidential suites that are rarely occupied by ordinary guests, there are about 60 rooms. Based on my observations during our 4-day, 3-night stay over Chinese New Year, there were probably only 8-9 other occupied rooms, so the overall occupancy rate wasn't high. Perhaps most people don't choose this place, as its exterior appears very understated and discreet. However, I highly recommend it, especially when traveling with elderly family members. The location is super convenient for getting around, just a 10-minute walk from Wulukou Station on Metro Line 1 (right next to Minleyuan and Wanda Plaza). I'd love to stay here again next time I visit Xi'an, haha! 😄

GGuest UserTraveling with a child, I immediately chose this guesthouse. The location is excellent, the service is thoughtful, and the facilities are very new. Customer service is available 24/7, which shows great attention to detail. They upgraded our room for free, and the check-out gift was unique and thoughtful. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks were all delivered to the room and were exquisite. On the last day, we even encountered heavy snow during check-out, which was beautiful. I took some great photos, very nice! 😊😊

GGuest UserWe booked for 2nights in April and it came with breakfast, first run of minibar, Single Tang Dynasty themed travel photography & Imperial Hot Spring Twelve Hours Experience. As our room has its own hot bath that fills up every night at 7.30pm to 12.30am, we did not go to the Imperial hot spring which is at located in another building. Hotel: It is located in the Hua Qing Palace scenic area and for hotel guests, you can enter and exit the scenic area freely. In the scenic area, there are other eateries like KFC and coffee joints but they operate only during scenic area opening hours. The Hua Qing Palace consists of many cultural sites like Tang Dynasty Imperial Hot Spring Relics Museum, Xi’an Incident site, Five Rooms Hall, Jiulonghu Lake and Furonghu Lake scenic spot, Tang Dynasty Pear Garden Relics Museum and many landmark buildings, such as Feishuang Hall Wanshou Hall, Longevity Hall, Huan Garden and Emperor Yu Palace. Service: The staff in the hotel are helpful to assist and answers all my questions in a clear manner. They came with buggy as soon as I dial for them and also assisted us to purchase the tickets for the show. Photography: I enjoyed the Tang Dynasty themed travel photography and I find that both make-up artist (Ms Dian Dian) and photographer (Mr Wang Jie) are very professional and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This photography is conducted by a third-party vendor that is stationed in the hotel. We went to the Hua Qing Palace for the photography. It is a convenient location to take photo with beautiful backgrounds. A day after the photo taking, we went online to choose the photos that I wanted to keep. Customer Service Ms Liang Yanping conducted a live session via a link in wechat, somewhat similar to zoom meeting to showcase all the photos that were taken. The complimentary digital photos given by the hotel are for 3 high quality digital photos and if one wants more than 3 pictures, there will be an extra charge for the purchase. Food: The restaurant is located in another building which is about 8minute walk away. Alternatively, we can call the buggy to send us there and back. The food is really yummy and I must say the Chang-an Roasted Whole Chicken is a must try. Also.... the desserts are so good too. With a love for sweet food, I tried the almond lotus paste and also the lychee and redberry cold dessert. They are both gooooood... Show: At night, there is a large-scale live-action historical dance drama “The Song of Everlasting Sorrow” that is created by Shaanxi Tourism Group Company. The theme of this dance drama is the love story between Emperor Xuanzong and Consort Yang. This is a must see as the performance is top notch. Separate tickets must be purchased for the show. Summary: For those who want to be in a historical site that offers a hot spa right in your bedroom, this is an ideal place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay here and will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who are visiting Xi-an and to use this as a last stop in Xi-an before heading to your next destination.

MMengxiaoyuExcellent Value for Money Hotel in Xi'an | Sheraton Xi'an North City Hotel After comparing several hotels for my trip to Xi'an, I finally chose the Sheraton Xi'an North City Hotel. My stay of several days far exceeded my expectations. As a long-standing five-star hotel, its excellent location, attentive service, and solid facilities make it an ideal base for exploring Xi'an, and have left me with an even greater appreciation for the Sheraton brand. 🗺️ Location: This was the primary reason for my choice. It's right next to Longshouyuan Station on Metro Line 2, and it's less than a 1-minute walk from Exit B directly to the hotel lobby. This means no more lugging heavy suitcases around. For tourists visiting Xi'an, this metro line is a game-changer. You can reach the Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter in just two stops, and travel to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Xi'an City Wall, and North Railway Station without any transfers, avoiding Xi'an's infamous rush hour traffic jams. Within a few minutes' walk of the hotel, you'll find shopping malls like Longshou Impression City and Rongmin Longshou Plaza, offering a wide array of dining and shopping options. There's also the Longshouyuan Night Market nearby, perfect for an evening stroll to experience authentic Xi'an street life and sample various local snacks. The convenience for both travel and daily life is superb. 🪴 Ambiance: The guest rooms have the classic feel of an established hotel, with a steady and grand style that differs from the trendy designs of 'influencer' hotels. However, the space is very generous and well-planned, so it never feels cramped. My room had excellent natural light, and the bedding was standard Sheraton quality with a mattress that was just right – neither too soft nor too hard, offering great support. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. 🛁 Facilities: The bathroom area features a separate wet and dry zone. The toiletries are the exclusive Sheraton brand, gentle and replenished promptly. The shower had excellent water pressure and stable temperature, making for a comfortable experience. The room offered ample space for work and storage, and amenities like the TV, lighting, and power outlets were well-maintained and functioned smoothly without any issues. 🍚 Dining: The dining experience is a huge plus for this hotel, easily rivaling specialized restaurants outside. The breakfast buffet offers an incredibly rich variety of Chinese and Western dishes. What truly impressed me was the dedicated Shaanxi specialty counter. The freshly baked *baijimo* (flatbread) with *larou* (braised pork) was crispy outside and tender inside, with the *larou* perfectly marbled and flavorful. Shaanxi snacks like *yangrou shuipen* (lamb soup), *saomian* (noodles with gravy), and *hulatang* (spicy soup) were authentically prepared, easily comparable to popular street food stalls. Starting my Xi'an journey with such an authentic Shaanxi breakfast filled me with immense happiness. The Executive Lounge experience was also excellent. The afternoon tea and happy hour offered a wide range of food, with rotating hot dishes, exquisite desserts, and fresh fruits. Plus, there was an unlimited supply of Xi'an's local specialities like Bingfeng soda and plum juice. The staff were prompt in refilling drinks and clearing plates, and their attitude was gentle, making it a very relaxing place to unwind. The hotel's Chinese restaurant consistently delivers high-quality dishes. Both the Shaanxi cuisine and home-style dishes were authentic and made with fresh ingredients, making it suitable for both casual gatherings with friends and family meals. 💁 Service: The hotel team is attentive, thoughtful, and just right. During check-in, the front desk staff were highly efficient, proactively asking about room preferences and patiently explaining nearby attractions and transportation routes. For various members, room upgrades and benefit redemptions were handled smoothly, without any perfunctory or negligent behavior. Room cleaning was thorough and tidy, with items neatly arranged. The turndown service was meticulous, with staff thoughtfully providing extra drinking water and reminding guests about things to note during their travels, adding a personal touch. 🏋️ Swimming & Fitness: The gym on the fifth floor is well-equipped with a full range of cardio and strength training machines, all well-maintained. The space is bright and airy, and water and towels are provided, making both morning and evening workouts comfortable. The indoor heated pool has clean water, a comfortable temperature, and ample space, making it a great place to relax and alleviate travel fatigue. 😉 Of course, the hotel does have a few minor drawbacks. Due to its age, some of the soft furnishings and facilities in the public areas show a slight sense of history, lacking a bit of modern flair. However, this doesn't affect normal use at all, and the hotel's daily maintenance is excellent, keeping everything clean and tidy without any feeling of dilapidation. 🥰 The Sheraton Xi'an North City Hotel is an incredibly cost-effective five-star hotel. It doesn't rely on flashy gimmicks but has won over countless guests with its superb location, comfortable rooms, authentic cuisine, and warm service. Whether for leisure or business travel, it meets all needs, allowing guests to easily visit Xi'an's major attractions while enjoying attentive service and experiencing the convenience and comfort of the ancient capital. If I return to Xi'an, this will undoubtedly be my top choice for accommodation, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all my friends visiting Xi'an – choosing this hotel will certainly not disappoint you.

GGuest UserWe have enjoy a generally impressive stay at Gran Melia Xian, the hotel is very generous that has upgraded us from Junior Suite Red Level room to Deluxe Suite Red Level room which is over 100m2 and there are welcome fruits and cookies and Xian traditional art crafts in our room upon our arrival. Location: The hotel is located in Xi’an’s Yanta District, within the Qujiang modern and quiet District, just a few minutes walk from the metro station, which is a very good area for both sightseeing and leisure. It is within walking distance of Tang Paradise, and getting to the Grand Tang Mall and other nearby attractions. We called DiDi car to and from the airport and to the Terracotta Warriors. There are many restaurants near the hotel too. There is also a park nearby which we can lucky to see Sakura blossom there, it is a nice place for evening walk after dinner. Room Experience: Staying in a room on the red floor with more than 100 square feet of space offers a strong sense of comfort and openness, without the cramped feeling common in many city hotels. The room design is modern, elegant and clean without smoking scent, with a stylish and upscale atmosphere. Staff Quality: The staff at this hotel are generally well regarded for being warm, professional, and responsive. From the front desk to the concierge, the service is polite and helpful and able to communicate well in English. Overall, the hotel delivers the kind of service expected from a five-star property, making guests feel well cared for. Catering services: Breakfast at the buffet restaurant offers lots of varieties of food including Xian famous food e.g. stewed pork burger. The red level lounge offers drinks, afternoon snacks and nuts and evening canapes. The lounge is spacious and is a nice place for relaxing after whole day walk at daytime. It would be better if there are juices or tea at the self service table can be provided and soups or noodles with soup or plain rice can provide in the lounge during the evening session, and the food can refill at a faster pace in the evening as there are more guests around in the evening. Thank you for the service of all staff at Gran Melia Xian!

GGuest UserWe had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel in Xi’an. The level of service truly exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to the front desk team, especially Miss Liu and Aria Li, who were incredibly kind, polite, and proactive. They went above and beyond—offering helpful suggestions before we even asked, allowing us to choose our room, and assisting with luggage storage after checkout. The room offered a fantastic view of the city wall, which made our stay even more memorable. Breakfast was a perfect 10/10 with a great selection, and the restaurant also had a lovely view. The location is very convenient—close to the metro, with easy access to both the airport and train stations. There’s also live music nearby, which added a nice atmosphere in the evenings. Highly recommended this 1117 room as well. There are a lot of nice places next to the hotel.
