5-Star Hotels in Shaanxi, China

This hotel is perfectly situated right by the Yongning Gate city wall, with Yongning International just next door. We stayed in a family room with a city wall view, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct, stunning views of Yongning Gate and the city wall – both during the day and especially at night. The hotel's fifth-floor lobby and restaurant are incredibly picturesque, and the observation deck provides fantastic night views of Yongning Gate and the city wall. It's also super close to attractions like the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter, as well as shopping centers like Wangfujing, SKP, and Heshunhui. The hotel service was great too! A special shout-out to their zero-pressure sleep pillows – they were incredibly comfortable; I haven't slept on such a perfect pillow in ages! My only minor suggestion would be for more frequent cleaning of the public restrooms in the lobby. Both times I used the men's room during our two-day stay, there was a strong odor, which really detracted from the overall experience. Otherwise, everything else was excellent!

Located in Qujiang New District, surrounded by lush greenery, you can directly enjoy the view of Nanhu Park from your room upstairs. Every aspect of the service is thoughtful and attentive; any requests or suggestions are immediately addressed. The soundproofing is excellent, and the facilities are complete, including my favorite real buckwheat pillows. The cleaning staff are very meticulous, even tidying up data cables in the room.

My stay this time was absolutely perfect! 👍 Mandy Wang at the front desk was very friendly, provided excellent service, and was highly efficient. The housekeeper for room 806 did a fantastic job with the cleanliness; they were meticulous and responsible, making the room neat and comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes that changed daily, all with fresh ingredients and unique, authentic Xi'an flavors. All the hotel staff proactively greeted guests and even helped press elevator buttons. Once, while waiting for the elevator on the first floor, I didn't notice when a nearby elevator door opened. A staff member immediately pointed it out, thoughtfully pressed the button for me, and answered my questions. Their demeanor was very professional and attentive – you could tell they were a manager. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around and shopping. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and will definitely choose to stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at the Crowne Plaza Baoji. The room was spacious and offered a stunning view of the city and the river . The hotel's location is excellent for both sightseeing and business . A special thank you to Jessica, the manager, who was incredibly helpful and spoke excellent English, making us feel very welcome. In fact, all the staff were remarkably attentive and professional throughout our stay . The facilities, including the indoor pool and the sky bar on the 40th floor, were top-notch . A truly wonderful experience and probably the best hotel in the city!

I came here for Phoenix Legend's concert. Monica from guest relations called me in advance to help arrange my room. She answered all my questions and paid great attention to every detail. The room had a fantastic 180-degree panoramic window view, and the layout was quite good. The bathtub was perfectly angled for watching TV, and the TV's sound could be adjusted from the speaker above the tub. In the afternoon, I ordered some takeout and wanted to throw out the trash myself. When I was leaving, I happened to run into the housekeeping staff, and she took the trash bag directly from me. When I returned, I found my room had been tidied up again, and turndown service was provided. It was very thoughtful. There's a dedicated elevator to the guest rooms, and you need to swipe your card to access your floor, which made me feel very secure. The hotel breakfast also offered a wide variety and was delicious. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel!

The hotel location was fantastic as it is located right opposite Dayan temple and along Da Tang Bu Ye Chen. The hotel itself has a museum located onsite and there was a Picasso's Artwork exhibition during our stay and we were given 2 free entrance tickets to visit the exhibition. The room is generally clean but a renovation may uplift the value of the brand's name. As we had breakfast in the hotel, we found a good variety of food available but unfortunately some of the items were either over cooked or under cooked. I think maybe the hotel should look into the quality of their food provided.

My wife and I had a lively stay at the Eastern House Boutique Hotel in X'ian. The location is within walking distance to the Muslin Quarters, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, City Walls and the Morning market! The room is spacious, clean and the staffs were very accommodating. The decor was up to date. One of my two recommendations for the hotel is to notify AMap that their English name is not listed in their application, only in Chinese or have their front desk personnel point out their Chinese hotel name so it will be more convenient for their guests to get around. The second recommendation is the hall-way area needed to be better ventilated.

Exceeded my expectations! The hotel staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, fulfilling all our requests promptly. The location is excellent, right within the scenic area, allowing us to re-enter Changqing Palace daily. It's also very close to the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance, and the hotel can even help with booking tickets. On our first day, the staff disinfected the room right in front of us. They even filled the hot spring bath for us around 7 PM and drained it after we finished. Plus, they served a delicious white fungus soup in the evening. My child absolutely loved our two nights here and found it very comfortable. I'll definitely return when my child is a bit older, perhaps in winter, to experience Changqing Palace in a different light. By then, my child should also be able to appreciate the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow.' (Attached is a photo of the small cake my child made with the hotel staff's guidance).

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful. I'm sensitive to the cold, and they thoughtfully moved me to a room on a higher floor, which I really appreciated! The room itself was unique, with a cave-style *kang* (heated bed) that was a full three meters long. Our balcony overlooked Red Street, and at night, we could watch the illuminated Ferris wheel 🎡. I'll definitely stay here again next summer! 👍👍👍

I brought my little one to Xi'an for a trip. We visited the Terracotta Army, Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell and Drum Towers, Xi'an City Wall, and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City, among other places. We stayed at this hotel for all five days. The hotel's location in the old city is excellent, making it convenient to get to all the attractions. There are also many Xi'an specialty snack shops nearby, so dining out was easy. As an established five-star hotel, both the facilities and service were top-notch. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, and the heated pool was lovely!
