5-Star Hotels in San Jose, Costa Rica

The location is good, breakfast is average, the surrounding transportation is convenient, it is far from the airport, the lobby is large, it is close to the entertainment city, there are convenient restaurants nearby, there is a large supermarket, shopping is very convenient.

The city view was the best part, we got picked up from the hotel for a day tour. Tour guide said we’re in the new buildings area but it’s still unsafe at night so don’t go walking around, but the hotel itself was five to ten minutes from everything else, in the day we did walk around and felt safe, the park is right next to it which was nice to see and of course the stadium, cleanliness and guest services were great accommodating, we had our anniversary dinner at their restaurant and it had great views but service was slow and food was only okay, could’ve/should’ve eaten somewhere else, the best part was the pool on the highest floor, the top four floors were apartments, but the pool is on the highest of their floor, the jacuzzi wasn’t warmed and they warmed us that it wasn’t, but the pool itself was nice to swim in, stayed there for a little over an hour before going to dinner, would definitely go book again

The hotel is half an hour away from the airport. The rooms are large and clean. It provides the famous local Britt coffee. The breakfast variety is OK, and it changes every day. It should be the best hotel in downtown San Jose, with comfortable beds and pillows. Guest service is also ok. The breakfast is too bad, it is not worth the price. It is recommended that if one lives, or stays next to Sheraton, half of the price, but the room is large, breakfast is very rich.
