Dear Sir/Madam, I recently had the opportunity to stay at your hotel, and I would like to share my experience with you. First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional design and comfort your property offers. Kengo Kuma’s architectural brilliance, with its use of natural wood, thoughtful lighting, and integration of art pieces, creates a stunning and serene atmosphere. Additionally, the comfort of the rooms, the quality of the materials, the size of the beds, and the premium linens were truly impressive. In terms of design and comfort, your hotel sets a remarkable standard. However, I did encounter several service-related issues that I believe could be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience. I would like to share these points in the hope that they are helpful for future improvements: 1. Breakfast Lounge and Sushi Area: The proximity of these two areas creates a strong odor upon entering, which can be unpleasant. Improved ventilation could easily mitigate this issue. 2. Food and Beverage Service After Breakfast: The lack of food and beverage service after breakfast hours was inconvenient. At the very least, providing a space for guests to enjoy tea or coffee would be a welcome addition. 3. Room Service Availability: After a long journey, I was surprised to learn that room service was unavailable and that only rice balls could be provided. Expanding room service options would greatly improve the guest experience. 4. Flexibility with Breakfast Hours: Due to the time difference, I arrived slightly late for breakfast at 10:10 AM and was informed that nothing could be served. Even my request for tea did not receive a clear response. Greater flexibility in accommodating guests dealing with jet lag would be highly appreciated. 5. Lobby Services: The inability to offer anything to drink or even host a guest in the lobby felt restrictive. This could be improved to make the lobby a more welcoming space. 6. Spa Experience: I was unable to experience the renowned Banyan Tree spa as it was fully booked. Expanding spa reservation availability would help meet guest expectations for this signature offering. In summary, while the hotel excels in design and comfort, the service offerings seem to be constrained by rigid rules and limited hours, which can detract from the overall guest experience. I strongly believe that adopting a more flexible, guest-centered approach would significantly enhance satisfaction. If the above issues were addressed, I would certainly consider staying at your hotel again during my next visit to Kyoto. Once again, I want to thank you for the exceptional design and comfort provided during my stay and hope that these suggestions contribute to further elevating your standards. Best regards, next visit to Kyoto. Once again, I want to thank you for the exceptional design and comfort provided during my stay and hope that these suggestions contribute to further elevating your standards. Best regards,

Title: An Extraordinary Stay at an Exquisite Kyoto Gem Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) I recently had the pleasure of staying at a truly remarkable hotel in Kyoto, and I can confidently say that my experience was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I stepped foot into this elegant establishment until the day of my departure, every aspect of my stay exceeded my expectations. Nestled in the heart of Kyoto, the hotel's location was simply perfect. It provided easy access to some of the city's most iconic landmarks and cultural attractions, ensuring that I could explore the beauty of Kyoto with utmost convenience. Whether it was the majestic Kinkaku-ji Temple or the serene Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, everything was within reach, allowing me to immerse myself fully in the city's rich heritage. The hotel's architecture and interior design were a true reflection of Kyoto's aesthetic beauty. The moment I entered the lobby, I was greeted by a sense of tranquility and harmony. The attention to detail was impeccable, with traditional Japanese elements seamlessly integrated into the contemporary design. The serene garden views from the common areas only added to the overall charm and provided a peaceful oasis amidst the bustling city. The staff members at the hotel were the epitome of hospitality. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Their genuine smiles and willingness to assist with any request created a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Their knowledge of the local area and recommendations for sightseeing and dining were invaluable, enabling me to make the most of my time in Kyoto. The room I stayed in was a haven of luxury and elegance. Immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, it exuded a sense of serenity that allowed me to unwind after a day of exploration. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the comfortable bedding to the carefully curated amenities.

Hotel was super nice! I loved almost everything. The room was very big for Japanese standards and the staff was very professional and fluent in English. Location couldn’t be better, right next to Kyoto Station and a lot of options for shopping and dining. The only thing that was disappointing was the breakfast. They divide it in a western and japanese breakfast. But the western breakfast didn’t really have much western choices. And the coffee was not good. This could be improved. Otherwise it was a perfect stay and I would recommend it. :-)

Our first trip to Japan and Kyoto. Originally, we wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to book a local brand hotel rather than a western hotel, but this was a great choice after 5 nights stay. Very clean, convenient, professional service and staffs, etc.

Stayed at Kyoritsu Resort for the first time other than La Vista. Put your shoes in the clog box at the entrance like a Japanese-style ryokan. It goes straight up on the tatami mat. I really like the relaxing style, but I'm worried about customers who don't even wipe the carry case. I think it's the same as walking on a tatami mat with bare feet. It would be great if you could use disposable paper towels to wipe at the entrance. The free private bath is a type that you use after washing in the large public bath, just like La Vista. There are hot springs and others. It's enough because you can use the 30-minute time limit. Each person had a luxury of one place. Ice cream after taking a bath, morning drink, and night crying soba are common. As for the third one, I can't participate yet because late hours are heavy on my stomach. Dinner is a Japanese course. Choose from 6 types of obanzai at the end. All types can be refilled and returned. You can choose either rice or noodles for your meal. It's not a luxurious ingredient, but I'm satisfied with the volume and taste. Breakfast is a buffet. How much is common, but everyone seems to be less interested than Tokyo Bay. I had a lot. The room is a compact twin. Shoji screens and bamboo Towa style I want a space to put my bag. Amenity is also a style to bring what you need in common. No waste. Buffet of tea.The variety was delicious. I was also interested in Arashiyama, but I thought that mutual use would be convenient if there was mutual cooperation such as luggage delivery. I saw several staff members in training, but everyone, including the front manager, was kind and comfortable. If you go to Kyoto again, please stop by.

This is a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. Service staff are cheerful, professional and willing to help. Situated a 10-12 minute walk from Kyoto station, this gem of a hotel provides a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The only downside is that the F&B outlets are pricey and not pocket friendly. This does not encourage guests to patronise the outlets. Even as a Dusit Gold member, the discount is only permitted at certain F&B outlets. The 5-star hotel lives up to expectations and was worth every penny !!

I booked a premier twin with city view guest room in this Banyee Tree Group Hotel at Kyoto Sanjo district. The hotel location is very good and just slightly off Kyoto City shopping centres within a 5-10 mins walking distance, which is good for my family since we can do some walking exercise and looking for good japanese food everyday when we are going out without wasting time to find transportation and yet there is a sub-way train Sanjo station just right next to the hotel for linking up to other scene spots and even to Osaka and other places as you wish. The quality of hospitality service is good and some staff are hands-on and can communicate via english. The room interior is warm and comfort to my family and I like its comfy bed and sufficient hot-water rain-shower and both my family and myself had a good sleep there. The Wi-Fi speed is acceptable and the room cleaning service is also above average.

Our stay at Good Nature Hotel Kyoto was truly memorable! The location is ideal, just a short walk from the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The service was outstanding—front desk staff even helped us make a dinner reservation since we don’t speak Japanese. We were also impressed by the thoughtful touches, like the tiny indoor shoes they provided for our baby. The hotel’s shower gel, shampoo, and handwash were lovely—natural and refreshing. We loved them so much that we bought some from their grocery store to bring back home! The warm and eco-conscious atmosphere, combined with excellent service, made our stay perfect. Highly recommended for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and a touch of nature.
