Might have over expectation for this hotel. Check in late that night after late dinner. Bathroom water heater was not working, maintenance team came over spent an hour and didn’t fixed. Was told to leave the shower tap and basin tap open for 30-40mins, still warm/hot water are not available for shower. Didn’t manage to get to change my room due to hotel was full that day. Room 16-46 So end up that night, shower with cold water. Toilet seat was dirty too. 🥲 Overall clean, but some hidden areas are dirty.

I had a fantastic stay at Capri by Fraser JB. The location is great, it’s just a quick Grab ride from the CIQ. Being so close to City Square Mall and Komtar JBCC was very convenient for shopping and dining. The staff were incredibly welcoming and check-in was smooth. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stress-free stay near the border.

Brand new apartment less than 5 minutes walk to KSL. There is still some construction noise as there are many apartments still under renovation. Service is good and pleasantly surprised to note there is a check-in room in the lobby of the apartment. Bedroom is a bit small but new and clean. Nice facilities such as big pool, gym, karaoke etc. Satisfied with our stay!

Highly recommended, especially if your priorities are convenience and a clean, comfortable environment. Its prime location directly opposite key shopping malls and near the CIQ makes it an ideal base for shopping trips or short cross-border stays. Nice Gym👍 Breakfast - very fulfilling 😋 Only 2 things to feedback. 1. Water heater temperature not hot enough😅 2. Can smell cigarette, probably the previous guests smoked in the toilet😡😤

Our recent two-night stay at the Renaissance JB Hotel yielded a very mixed experience, particularly considering we booked Club Level accommodations. The Positive is the Club Room facilities were generally nice, and the overall ambiance and professionalism of the staff were commendable during check-in and throughout our stay but the negative is the issues we encountered demonstrate a severe failure in both hygiene standards and food quality management. I cant imagine that we saw big live cockroach in 1 of our room and the clam meat (lala) in the soup was distinctly SLIMY AND MUSHY which they served at Club lounge.

I only stayed for a few hours, no overnight stay, and left the same day. However, due to the check-in policy, I needed to book for two days. The apartment's decor matched the pictures, and the sea view was nice. But I didn't have time to go to the beach. The location was convenient. There were shopping malls and street shops nearby. There were restaurants opposite the sales center. The instructions for getting the keys were very detailed; I was able to get them by following the instructions.

I had a truly relaxing and refreshing stay at Fraser Puteri Harbour. Waking up to the gentle glow of the sunrise each morning was an absolute highlight — the views alone were worth it. The room was impressively spacious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind and get a good night’s rest. The serene surroundings created a calm and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for anyone looking to escape the rush and just relax. If you’re in need of a quiet retreat with comfort and beautiful natural moments, Fraser Puteri Harbour is a great choice. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Room Condition: The hotel is quite old and a bit rundown, so it’s understandable that the furniture is also aged. The table lamp/study light looked worn out and could use some maintenance. Service: Check-in at the front desk was smooth, but we faced an issue with the TV in our room. We couldn’t watch any channels at all. At first, we thought it might be due to the weather, but the TV in my parents’ room worked fine. We scanned the QR code to request assistance and received only “Noted” as a response. We sent two messages and got the same reply both times. Since there was no follow-up, we went to the front desk to report it in person, but unfortunately, no action was taken until we checked out. That was quite disappointing. Car Park: Try to avoid parking directly under the trees, as there are quite a lot of weaver ants around the area. Breakfast Buffet: The breakfast buffet was okay. The kurma chicken tasted more like ayam ungkep, which was a bit misleading, but I actually loved it since I really like ayam ungkep.

Location almost deepest in desaru coast, next to water park, walking to beach 5mins, staff service is best quality, room all good and big enough with balcony except water leaking from the side window because heavy rain and changed to other room immediately, a bit noisy if not enjoying live band, restaurant nice price, not much kids facilities, and better for couples.

This property's location is one of its strongest selling points, with a plethora of dining options nearby and KSL just a short walk away. The unit itself is clean and well-maintained, with fresh linens, towels, and pillows. Unfortunately, our stay was not without its issues. The unit's high floor did not translate to impressive views, as they were blocked by neighboring units. The bathrooms, particularly the master bedroom, had a noticeable sewage smell that lingered even with the door closed. The water heater was also problematic, leaking and producing loud noises when in use. Other issues included a faulty toilet door lock in the master bedroom and poor water flow on the toilet flooring, resulting in water accumulation. The shower form provided is labelled as dishwasher. To top it off, the cups provided were dirty and stained. Despite these issues, the stay would have been enjoyable if not for these problems.
